Rhyme and Pun Ishment

i would love to have the chance to ask the dog star are you Sirius?

John Tirious won't tell people his daughter's name it's Miss Tirious

if i were fuzzy wuzzy and lost all my hair i'd be furrious

when songwriters erase are they "decomposing" or "delyrious"?

[i should know better than to dabble in such puns, after all i am a groan man]

I Love Myself

Yes there the heart pun, with pride
Here the sense grows admiration for self.
Every time, my eyes _ see my eyes in the mirror,
Something sparkles and a cherishing smile appears.

Look here the person, alive,
Then a deep breath inculcates, Rushing blood
With so much self-righteous arrogance, it takes
Yes because here is the power,
Look at my face, I rule myself,
Look at eyes, once shed blood,
Look at pause I utter, once broke up
Are powerful and gleaming again.

Yes I love that face that was burned,
The kingdom; along with herself,
Now is alive and with life.
Yes I respect that face, in mirror
You are my pride see, undefeatable I deem.

Kedai Usang

Kedai usang di tepi jalan
lambang kasih bonda
tanda keringat perit ayahanda
pun sepi di tepi jalan
tiada pelanggan

tiada lagi suara penuh mesra
tiada lagi pesanan ke udara
tiada lagi apa - apa

pun lena ditelan kenangan
kisah cinta dan kasih
bonda dan ayahanda
yang penuh pedih, luka dan duka

Anniversary

Along the way, I found this site:
Now a full year has come around;
Niche a verse play as words recite;
Indulge some cheer as stanzas ground;
Voice piquant rhymes as wordplay streams;
Emote and feel a surge of fun;
Rouse space and time with muse and dream;
See sensuous will succinct with pun;
Align my heart with mind and words;
Reach deep within to feel word craft;
Yield to fine start as voice is heard.
Glimpse thought unseen in sanguine drafts;
Love what I do with passion's poise;
Opt verse to woo by sacred choice.

A Slip Which Changed My Fate

I slipped on a teardrop and landed in a pair of arms, warm and with muscles banded. I knew not this was to be the last drop which like magic wand would make time stop. Crying and giggling, I stood like a moron while his eyes queried if I was done. In a maze, I remembered some old pun And knew with him life will now be fun!

Madness

The madness is closing in,
I can feel its stagnant breath.
It beckons : " It's easier to give in
than face sanity's wrath."

"Hope is but the unforgiving sun,
that leads feathered fools to their deaths.
Fairness is but a laughable pun,
that old men joke to their cats."

I can only find solace
in my digital domain of songs.
Fake stories of love and grace,
the only right in all these wrongs.

The madness is closing in,
I can feel its stagnant breath.
Maybe I should give in,
than follow destiny's path.

My Queen and Her Child

Run far away my unknown living child
Follow me across and up the brown stairs
For it is I whom makes your heart too mild
I will kill the sweet smell of your red hair.

Sweet queen, today you are to be no more
Please follow my cold living hand reaching
No more you are, yet death reaches no door
Enslaved you are, continuing, teaching.

I think of reaching for my hidden gun
Pray just before your sudden gruesome death
My jest toward you is not a damn pun
Silent I must not stay, even when deaf.

I can not compare your skin with one word
Turn away, I say, my disgusting sword.

Minding Shakespeare

True love(r) never dies, they say;
pun is more of a fun rhyme to sway.
As for whom this giggling heart
bleeds the most? Know, I always
carry mine with me, ‘til I become pond water;
and hidden not in my eyes, often awake for love,
as they easily show blushes of my thoughts,
ramping over the wall of judgment.
Alone I’ll not be and so is this dearest one;
darkness though life brings...
Among the sonnets, the 15th, my soul.
Too many secrets concealed,
even as I speak, to death a name’s been willed!

End Notes

Embrace the ending with new beginnings;
Notice the urgent movement that stirs here;
Deem storytelling in intent that springs;
Note hot and pungent the spicy forms clear.
Opt to weave magic despite life tragic;
Touch takes a sure swipe at moments that surge;
Enter dramatic to ease the squalid;
Sense each rancid gripe transformed with sure urge.
Allow your true self to take centre stage;
Love is the way forth as charm takes a walk;
Live your lovely self in lifestyle and page;
Use the path up north to walk your own talk.
Doing primes sure fit in all moments good;
Employ pun and wit to anchor your moods.

Watch love embrace

Cry No More My Child

Cry no more my child.
Cry not when you feel wild.
Even if you are hungry,
don't be so angry.
For God who made us will bless us
and protect us with blood of Jesus

Cry no more my love.
Be you as cool as dove.
Even if hawk want to kidnap you,
close your eyes and look at sky of blue
And call on arch-angel Michael
to fight your unwell.

Cry no more my only one.
Son,always have fun with pun.
I want to hear you chuckle
and see your smile sparkle.
O son,dad wish you sweet dream.
"Merry" should be your theme.

Poetic Story

Style words that play, style breath that springs;
Tell with clear voice, tell with wise pun;
Opt just to say, opt just to sing;
Roar with sure choice, roar with dear fun;
Yield to insight, yield to impulse.
Touch a new vein, touch a brave wit;
Observe new light, observe each tint.
Glimpse a bright flame, glimpse a good fit;
Love flavours joy, love delights truth;
Imprint fond stay, imprint kind heart;
Make cheer string ploy, make muse fling proof;
Please cheery sway, please happy start;
Sign a bold face, sign a warm style;
Enlist sweet grace, enlist glad smiles.

Play with fond hurl in laughter's surge,
Offer to be one with clear wit;
Indulge fine swirls of dance that merge,
Gifts come to pun with fun that fits;
Note how love comes to marry cheer,
Allow sure poise that mystic glow;
Niche fragrant sums of joy right here,
Touch with deep voice beauty that shows.
Word profound thought with easy fling,
Oblige the heart moments of peace;
Now transcend plot with what life brings,
Derive strange art in love's increase;
Explore the whole in any mood,
Reach your true soul and know life's good.

The Depth of My Love

Jump in feet first and sink
             Into the depth of my love
               Immerse yourself as if
              You're being swallowed
                Wholly and gradually
                    By a quicksand

Mumbo-Jumbo

A wino looked at me and spout,
Mumbo-jumbo from his mouth!

“Wood and stone;
Flesh and bone,
Sand and clay;
Steel and hay,
Moon and sun;
Milk and bun,
Glass and salt;
Hops and malt,
Needle and thread;
Hand and head,
Rain and fog;
Spawn and frog,
Chicken and egg;
Lock and peg,
Tooth and root;
Sock and boot,
Buckle and belt,
Beaver and pelt,
Ash and soot;
Loud and mute,
Sea and beach;
Apple and peach,
Nut and bolt;
Collar and goat,
Dime and purse;
Favour and curse,
Hard and soft;
Never and oft,
Fun and pun;
Over and begun,
Love and hate;
Pace and rate,
Good and bad;
Happy and sad.”

Down and out;
Kneeling there devout!

A Fun Pun

There is a pun for fun.
Is it for none?
Is it for one?
Or is it for some?

Does it last a while?
Does it come in a gentle smile?
Is it in a wonderful style?
Or do we just store it in a file?

Does it bring in warmth of the heart?
Does it bring in an amazing start?
Can we walk together and never part?
Still we hear its song from a lark.

Is this pun a whimsical soulful spirit?
Stand still in silence just to hear it.
Some will run and hide for they fear it.
With others Love they will share it.

Good grief
Be brief

Joy comes
Smiles sum

Glimpse cheer
Mark clear

Seize jest

Rhymes tell
Daze dwells

Just be

Heed call
Bear all

Breaks trend

Pun moves

Lift sighs
Claim highs
