Just Friends

Yeah I know it feels weird
But it's too beautiful to be bad
Now it's scary cos it might be a masquerade
If we happen to be more than what we are
Now that's cos we have become more than I can describe
No one understands when I sing all that jazz
It's already more than the music for mature minds
They go with the sarcastic reply "Just friends, yeah right"
And then I am lost in my definition
A new synonym is added in its oxymoron
She has become my doubted confidante
But only to the minds who refuse to see
If am gonna kick that bucket, it's definitely not your water in it

Beautiful

You are so beautiful with a voice so sweet
You are invincible when they keep being so mean

Your battles are frightening, but your smile's a diamond
You are incredible for being able to fight them

An oxymoron in love with everyone but yourself
A free slave to humanity, a priceless pearl in your shell

Your heart bends but still unbreakable, your waist slender, your lips tasteful
You soul tender but unshakeable, don't let the men be so ungrateful

miss America, you're beautiful
miss Universe, international
traveled, experienced, far from elementary
in vino veritas, you sing the truth so eloquently

An Emotional Bridge

Perpetual sadness; should such a thing exist, would be devastating to fragile hearts and souls. Love's an oxymoron of clashing emotions; sad tears and joyful tears fight for recognition. Craving intimacy; you welcome caresses, as massaging fingers linger upon your skin. But depression deepens when passion's flame dies; and once devoid of love, sex seems so meaningless. Lust is an emotion used to lure naive hearts; any semblance of love, is coincidental. Beyond the physical, love's a merging of souls; an emotional bridge spanning two lonely hearts.

Love Is Fleeting, Love Never Was

"love is fleeting"
love is untrue
love is jealous
love is a liar
love killed trust
love is filth
love is arrogant
love laughs at honesty
love ruined my chance
love threw away my happiness
so love could keep me hostage
love is disgusting
love enrages me
love is unbearable
love is a joke
love is ignorant
love is not true
love loves no one
love loves itself
love hates you
love is fake
love broke me
love had me blindfolded
love will not win, not the long haul
love is an oxymoron.
"love is fleeting"
"Love" never was.

To 'my' "love"

An Alliterative Oxymoron

Scientific systems sometimes seem strangely simple, so say I.
Complex calculations can cause casual, concentrated conversations.
--- Sometimes I can be STUPIDLY SMART.

I literally love laughing at little, light Limericks.
Finally feeling fantastic following Friday’s frenzied finish.
--- Sometimes I FEEL SO GOOD IT HURTS.

Positive people perpetuate pleasant personalities.
Obviously oblivious of often onerous outcomes.
--- Sometime I WORRY that I live a WORRILESS life.

Typing tantalizing text to terminate tenth line.
--- I SOMETIMES ALWAYS comply with rules.

Love Again

Love Again

Life without love is an empty, lonely existence
Our birthright is to love and receive it without resistance
Pursuing this emotion like a mirage in the desert
Reflecting perceived notions left only to be hurt
Wide eyed loving innocence, oh what an oxymoron
Blinded by emotion and then the love is gone
Leaving the heart with scars that hopefully will heal
But at this very moment, pain is all you feel
With time, if you decide, to let go of the pain
Only then will your heart be open to love again

My Oxymoron Love

she wrote using only her left
I learned to write using my right
the dark took her heart to the night
I lived in sun and bright of light

she would say yes to caviar
to me it just sounded bizarre
she ate things that were too spicy
to me it sounded too dicey

she loved taking to the blue sky
I hated going high and fly
I was always just her one friend
never a word about boyfriend

true love thwarts logic, so in life
in time, she became my dear wife

He's so nice being vicious
He's surprising using cliches

He's so tender being tough
Independer needing love

Though loves me and I am really sure of that
Speaks to me no word for two months now somewhat

He just fits to this contest name folks--

He's full moron weird one ox

Nine dozens of
Eight nothings
Veranda romance inside
Every man for no man
Running in place
Dearest husband
Or dearest wife
Urban legend
Brutal love
Truthful
Tall tales
Hidden hate
Introverted
Sex orgy
Three in a couple
Riot in the bathroom
Universal thought
Timeless fashion
Helpless god

Leftover Tomorrows

Leftover Tomorrows

Not just the yin and yang of life
Not just the perplexed and entangled
Not even the esoterically amplified deviations
Just the oxymoron nature of the beast

It’s the fashion of ascending and escaping
Of falling into the voids of the heart
When love transcends into emptiness
Our minds form designs to abstract

To gain wisdom teased from agony
From wakeful weaving of earthly plights
A roller coaster of leftover tomorrows
Inverse our perception of dancing tonight

Left For Dead

Left for dead.

Rocket on the floor; dead men in a war.
When you hear the call, come prepared to fall.
Picture on a door shows the face on the dart board,
Through which the injured will soon walk.
Blood on a wall;
You have been here before.

Ghost in the night at last has found its sight by misdesign.
The ghosts disappear in the morning light.
Pocket on a leg, left there to forget.
Written on a tissue in lipstick red.
Numbers to regret, words I never said.
All those people you left for dead.

A soldier talking about peace is an oxymoron;
Put down your weapons of misfiring neurons.

Oxymoron - I Am Still

Am not it, so who is still?
Save egoistic will
That separate self
Devious elf!

Dissolved yet distinct
In a boundaryless precinct
Awareness devoid of thought
Divine love begot!

Not stillness then but dissolution
No self, so no conflict resolution
In being, becoming, the That presence
One with Universe manifested divine essence!

The vessel magnetised
Divine love energised
Am of the whole, in the now, complete
Dissolved in stillness, with joy replete

What is stillness then, save alignment within?
In the continuum of now, at each moment we begin
As ordained, invariably as a non-doer receptor
On occasion, a divine-entwined transmitter!

Isn'T It

Isn't it ironic
to see conceited Man
who
defies God and abuses nature
and
who thinks himself
as
the master of the universe,
trembling,
before a brainless virus?

Isn't it unbelievable
that
this deadly and horrible disease
could
achieve the unthinkable:
to unite humanity?

Isn't it an oxymoron
that
fear would succeed
where
mighty love has
failed?*
