I Got a Love

I got a love that's never gonna die
Your love has breathed new life into me,
has filled my heart that was once empty
I got a love that's alive and spry
A fragrant violet voice has revived the old bones,
turning back the clock is a good thing
Gave me a pep in my step, a soul zing
Your love rekindled the flame that was long gone

How could you know that you would affect me so,
make me to rise up from my slumbering deep
Go walking to the garden of orchid waking dreams
A shower of kindness make the seeds of your love grow,
blossoms of smiles move my undressed heart to weep
My love for you will never die, for it has been redeemed

Colors of Love

Deep within my hidden pastel dreams
are soft sweet colors of a newborn spring
dressed up in mauves and pinks and windham creams
while giving hope to love and all it brings.

Painted in the colors of the dawn,
like pinks and purples of the morning sky,
magenta dreams will bloom and love will spawn
as newly mated hearts begin to fly.

And thus our lilac love has taken flight
while sharing orchid thoughts without remiss;
soft words and fuchsia touches in the night
are punctuated with a crimson kiss.

The coral sun rays beaming from above
are raining down these colors of our love.

The Nectars of Love

The Nectars of Love Let your love fall, that I may wallow Let your tears drip of inner essence Entranced by the nectar I swallow As I engulf and taste your presence *** Let your beating heart keep company The emptiness that entraps my being I’m a string vibrating in your symphony Forever echoing festal forever freeing *** Intoxicated by your juices made wine For the gods pour down their nectar Indulging in grapes of the orchid vine Seducing our souls a haunting specter *** The nectars of your love are ingested And the fluids of my heart arrested. Free to Express

Imagine the sun shone in rays of red,
sparkling in saffron skies with clouds of bronze.
If it was maroon would you love the moon?
If midnight was beige would you go to bed?
An artist's mind should be free to express.
Use their canvas to show confetti bled.
Ignore those who claim stars are not lilac.
Create pink rain, as orchid puddles spread,
around silver sparrows and golden swans.
Would you love the moon if it was maroon?
Let your muse weave patterns with vibrant thread.

Loveplay -

I love the way you talk to me
like a girl aching for warm mystery,
touching herself with tender hopes
that what she loves will kiss her notes,
you wonder why the world has given you my heart
with a shy lust for my every part,
yet like an orchid oracle
your voice is smooth and lips infallible,
and as you play with the prism of our passion
on fingertips of curious obsession
you realize that I ache as much
for the rush of your touch -

Garden Party

The white table cloth moved, from the night breeze
as the last candle had just been lit
There is wine, red roses, purple orchids and cheese
The night's soft, the fragrant flowers give pause to submit
To glean the depths in eyes between the flickering flame
and reach for love across the table with open hand
To capture a smile a rose an orchid within the frame
and find I've stumbled into a world you command
The sounds of laughter fills the open space
as the moon moves within the sky
We raise a glass to the melting candle's trace
and kiss the softest lips to verify

The evening's breeze lifts the fragrance from the flowers
With intoxication that accomodates the hours

To Her With Love

Daylight ends softly splayed on meadow green
Invites the evening to heart's final choice
I'll taste sweet wine from a love's cup unseen
Bequeath my heart a lover's need I'll voice
The red soothing sun bows to the moon's light
To reveal a silhouette of whom I seek
Sitting in pose her heart filled with delight
Soon to hear music from soft words I'll speak
To approach my love with a joy within
And feel the warm rush of pulsating veins
On bended knee an innocence begins
With orchid and ring my hand contains

Silent eyes look up on beauty I see
To ask a question, Will you marry me?

I am a collage of sunsets,
laced with amethyst dreams of orchid dews,

Proposals of the Lonely

I see it consume
The pain seeps through
It cradles and conceals the best in you
You stand defiant
lonely orchid
wind blows harsh to wreck
you don't let it...sensitive petals resist
Let me stand and block this gusting assault
so you never battle elements alone
May I make you laugh on a bad day?
hold you as you cry on a worse one?
Share in a golden moment....
   Crack jokes over coffee...
Get deep after 3 cups...rip bad movies, conquer crosswords
               stretching mornings into afternoon
I'll never tell you you're beautiful...I'll state it, because you are

Sensual Nature

On a mound in a valley A beautiful Orchid is in bloom Her lovely petals unfurling As she reaches for the Moon Dew drops sparkle on her bare petals Feathery strokes feel like the breath of winds Her goblet drips with nectar This is where life begins Like bees to a honey pot Opened petals now to greet Natural rhythm so in tune The intensity to meet Her languid smile – her fulfillment Heavens approve from above Now beautifully satiated This is the gift of love

In Full Bloom

Trace circles around my orchid
Massage its flower to full bloom
Spread its swollen petals
Let its aroma fill the room

Thrust your river within me
Fill me awash with your tides
Lost in its own reverie
Oceans don't subside

Plant your seeds within me
As stars number the skies
Seek my inner depths
Where passion surely lies

Flowers

A rose for all the daffodils
In rows by our new house

A flower for everything you bake
(I’ll cherish everything you make)
((And kiss the flour from your nose))

An orchid for the empty rooms
Which dog –or kid- will fill

A sunflower for the happy days,
Our son picking flowers up the hill

A daisy for my love for you
Beyond the day you can’t see

A tulip for when I’m holding you
Lip-to-lip, together for eternity

(Wrote this when I was fourteen. See the play on words? Like tulip and to-lip? Isn't it cute? :) )

Lover's Gin

While I was sat drinking lemonade
the winter’s chilling sun started to fade
the calm before the storm
perhaps another dawn
found in fizzy dreams of lemonade.

A hazy moonlit beach then appeared
my senses numbing as I had feared
as a pretty girl winked
at me, I dare not blink
in case she then went and disappeared.

The summer bronze reflected on her skin
her jewel like eyes just drank me in
an orchid in my gaze
to banish winter days
and I was caught in a lover’s gin.

Midnight Orchid

My dangerous flower
So beautiful, so poisonous
I bow to you in the moonlit landscape
I sleep with you in the sun bleached terrain.
I call to you, kissing your petals
I call to you, the venom burning my lips
The smile on my face burning to kiss you again,
the look in my eyes hoping
you'll honor me once more, my hands yearning
to hold yours I instead pull you close.
I again kiss you the poison makes me calm,
the poison calms my soul, my orchid,
my midnight flower, I love you.

Time

whimsical lass in a calico dress
holding hat on head
of a bob-cut tress

looking for one daisy in
a autum wheat field
.....and finding instead
an old wagon wheel

tom-boy/lady in between
hayrides and romance....
just looking for fun
she is a halloween queen

lovely lady in a long white dress
with slender white fingers
delicately holding a orchid
bouquet...

she looks at her love
with his strong lean face

fine old woman
in a blue cashmere......
holding her dreams
against the tick of the
clock

stooped old granny
watching for him
lighting a kerosine
lamp .....
she
keeps supper warm
on his t.v. platter.

Single Yellow Orchid

Silver box filled with madrigals
Winter song upon her heart
One single Orchid in her hand
Flower of bitter sadness
Panting for what is lost

Eyes blind in the darkness
Seeing what is left of love
Softly whispering his name
Reaching out for bitter sweet memories
Embittering herself for this pain

A sunset that she missed
Candle light now her company
They chattered before she left
The yellow Orchid on a grave
Untimely death of tender love

Orchid

Soft as warm rain
Drenching pale orchids,
Onto your breasts
Cascades velvet hair
While flesh you have bared
And pert, anxious visage
Lend warmth to this night
Of candlelight flicker;
Your eyes, with coy glint,
Peer up, acquiesce:
Lips quiver, commune,
Our prelude to love,
	A delicate orchid
	Drenched softly by rain.

Orchid

Thought you were mine,
Sweet Orchid!
Until that day,
When jealousy prevailed,
And others
Came between us.
But what could I expect?
Such erotic beauty,
Sensual curves,
Desirable passion,
Who could resist,
A flowering goddess
Like you.
Admirers were many.
Far and wide,
You kissed the world,
With arousing colours,
Irresistible perfume,
Everybody wanted you!
What could I do?
My lonely heart!
Fragrant memories,
Residue of vanilla.
Essence that permeated!
Reminding me,
Of your love.

Now Is the Time of Youth In Poetry

I saw you in your poetry ...
A bunch of orchid baths
in solitary forests
In your writing ...
The odd scent of water drops
in the wet breast line of Darjeeling
I saw youth in your poetry.

Luck ... you did not want
a separate state or country
Nowadays some want to be isolated.
Now you are young.
Go ahead, bathe in a heavy rain
Then build resistance to life.
Now is the time of youth in poetry.

I dream of a common world.
The water, the ground ...
the sky all together.
I believe in youth is one name of life
Because, I saw ... youth in your life.
