Quartz Glass Spaces

I love you without surmising 'why',
your passion sets pon dusky distances
betwixt & 'midst quartz glass spaces,
where scented phases astir moon glow
and impassioned fireside involvement
madly erupt above obscure air castles,
beyond a swept away briny rendezvous
of crystallized darkly essential marrow,
like wildflowers penchant for Spring
blooming 'tween summoned fiery March
snowdrifts' lashing bout ignitable flurries
amongst wind's orgasmic undressing,
farthermost indulgent sundown piques
regaling its worth with naught but those
magnificent moments in timely conception,
whence endearment yearns to be evermore

Teardrops

The moon shines brightly upon me,
your angelic touch fades
within my mind, blurring every
obscure image created by the mysterious
mist of fragmented thoughts.
My heart breaks into pieces as I forget all
memories, born to seize our souls
within this drowning world of
overwhelming deceit.
Teardrops form, falling like
light rain hidden behind my smile,
sorrow has captured me
in its dark, cruel hands,
but our fate is still within the strength of
my heart, still unlocked by you,
my angel.

Woman In a Cloud

I watched a while on a summer's day,
Above the field in which I lay:
The clouds take form and assume their place,
And in one I saw a face.
A face obscure and yet familiar.
What name that face? Twas sweet Delia!
For one brief moment I saw her peer;
I felt a subtle grayness near.
That shade of gray between dream and sleep,
When thoughts we think, but do not keep.
I watched a while and in conscious thought,
The elusive dream at last I caught.

From Ashes Beauty Is Formed

She wakes in a half dream, In ash-green and crimson Flower etch print gown. A natural olive cream tint To her complexion. Flawless is her love In a world of imperfection. Her head bent down Full of tangle brown And blond waves, With arms outstretched. Richness through Lent. Spiritually filled. Spiritually led. Wisps of obscure doves’ Flicker and scatter, Contrariwise And rise upwards The ash-green sky; Chasing away The ill-spoiled yoke. Giving way To quench The thirst of pure Love. From ashes, Beauty is formed from the sowing. 4/13/2020

Spring Love

A fervent fairy
In romantic dream
Holds a watering
Can, flitting over
Her daisy sweetheart.

Morning sunlight
Obscure bee whirs,
Round fair-haired face
Tease twinkle toes.

Mice clamor,
Hedgehog rolls
Heather blooms.

Weaving
Spider

Hides.

Lazarus

One day I fell ill and apparently died.
My sisters were grieved, one found Jesus and cried,
"If only lord you'd been here this day
Our brother, your friend would have not passed away!"

In empathy and love Jesus tears weren't spared
And all could discern just how deeply he cared.
After a prayer to his father all heard Jesus shout
With a voice of authority, "Lazarus, come out!"

I awakened quite startled for I came to find
I was bandaged up like a corpse, I hadn't gone blind!
A funny, yet obscure memory to have...
But it gives Mary, Martha and myself a good laugh!

There Is Only One Me

Wherefore wanders my soul
Hither and yonder wanders my heart
All around wander my eyes
Relentlessly wanders my mind.

Bestowed with a heart
Fate has given me longing
for the love yet unknown,
My thoughts reach for the realm yonder…
How many dreams must I squander?
My eyes await divine manifestation…
Gray clouds obscure my trail,
How did my soul fall astray
craving for the blessed abode?

Wonder why I am made to wander
from the mountains high
down to the low grassy plains
forever through eternity
roam I, the solitary wanderer.

Black Diamond

Scarce in love’s bounty
traded opaque for darkness
graphite eases soft whispers
    obscure in the night
      she cries for magnificence
         while his reflection turns black

gemstone adamant
symbolize prosperity
carbon overshadows love
   passion can be rare
      murky lust trades easily
         locked in a jewelry box

priceless in beauty
yet cheap to the true sinner
mystical nights cloud expense
   trapped inside a mine
      drilling for her precious gold
         black diamond dwells forever

Obscure Chocolate Guilty

Guilty Temptation so heavenly it's secret I hide Between linens, other obscure places, I always lie My heart refuses to relinquish control My pride To hell I know I'll ride because of the secret I hide inside I blame myself not having the willpower I’m saying goodbye My heart yearns for fulfillment with laughter wishing not to cry I love you, but I harming myself by keeping the lie I will make my tears dry never letting chocolate touch my lips g r a t i f i e d 3/17/2016

Moon Is My Muse

(Moon is My Muse)
Moon Musing

You lie beyond an obscure veil
Above the foggy city lights
Illuminating the night so pale
Giving darkness lights respite

Elliptical loops around earth’s face
Wearing wane or increase smiles
Still quickening lover’s heart pace
Ever working your earthly wiles

Finding muses in your boldness
Poets stroke their papered words
Romance beckons in your fullness
Love lyrics written or poetic blurbs

Earthly harvesters glean in the night
Twice find beauty in blue moon bright

Uncage the Songbird

Foregoing the fool
A tattered heart slept
In a reticule.
Two drawstrings pulled tight
To obscure the light.

Emotions fraught
With second thought
Perfected a
Silent reply.

Nightingales
With clipped wings
Rarely sing.

Free your
Soul and

Fly!

The Black Rose

Soft like satin, delicate
as skin, the petals of the
black rose enchant with
its very vibe of obscurity.
Tender as tranquil notes
of music, silent as the
unknown, the black rose
beholds hidden beauty
that is rarely seen.
As strong as true love,
as sharp as blades,
the black rose adorns
thorns that prick soft
virgin skin unexpectedly
releasing the very essence
of life.
As bright as the sun,
as colourful as a rainbow,
the black rose owns foliage
of such intensity that it
strikes one’s sight with
images of blissful moments;
the black rose – obscure
then yet darkly beautiful.

The Winter Wolf

Silent whispers on broken vows, I cling to my dream of you.
You are the forest’s end, the wolf’s grin.
Climbing to the edge of bliss and sin,
There’s noting to obscure the view.

Looking to the sky laced with clouds, my eyes pierce the haze.
You danced into my world as a child.
Untamed, beckoning me to the wild.
You unleashed my wings, bloodying my back, spirit crazed.

Little wolf, silver blade by my side.
We ran through the wood,
Constantly seeking to bloody our prey.
I am full on the carrion and broken pride.

Now you are gone, and all I have is your ghost.
A child, a maiden, a lover, a memory.
Frost grips at the beautiful ivory,
To the life I lead, to the path you craved most.

Cultural Identity

Yes, I realize Paris is just
          magic when night falls...
          Vienna is a mysterious dream
           in the obscure night...
New York city is multiculturalism. !
          Rio is wonderful
          in light or dark...
          But my place is
          prettier anytime!
          I love people
           from all over the world...
           I'm frankly
           cosmopolitan...
          But above all,
          I'm movingly
          Paraiba... !

Mystery

the mystery of the unknown
just got sweeter
as what was known
became obscure
with each second passed

the soup of the explicit
just got colder
as the room we were in
turned hot
with each conversation held

The Obscure Love

The cash and carry of love
Which summer doth requisite
When will thou birth me a dove?
Soon autumn will bid for hunt- 5
To gratify winter’s drudge
Oh! Far is the sight of spring
None can pacify better
For season flies without wings
And quick does it charm scald beauty
Of whose time shall be pleaded?	10
As vaguely summer doth leave
Crow beckons with a caw
The womb that is long barren
Whom for eon is not loved
And in earth’s hate it joy is lost 15
Quick drains life off it victim

For a Cynical, She's Dreamy

Dreams…
Vague and Pure
Pieces of Miseries
Sad but Obscure
Dream of the wrong person
Live trying to be in the right.

Close your eyes shut
Sequel of puzzled dreams
You owe them explanations.
They can’t pay with a rewind.

Love is endless
Could be a river of sins
Or a plateau of pretensions.
How could I spell it out?
When my heart’s dry.

I once dream
T’was once a fantasy
I made it reality.
Walk Past like a nightmare
Now I reminisce with a bottle of LIGHT

Here’s to a box of life
Only escaping in dreams
Fear tied the realist
Close thy eyes til’ the innocents awake.

A Form of Words

oh love,love me do
with sweet poems,old and new
or odes that ring true

my darling,don't fret,
dearest heart my number one;
see how I've begun
with end rhyme we'll have fun,or
maybe sonnet or tercet

on no,not flowery words
too obscure and seldom heard,
such poetry's no better
than prose by letter

S I Gns of a Heart Obscure

Searching for signs
Of my beloved obscure.
What could I be DREAMING OF.
A mended heart.
A painless heart.

My beloved EMERGE from
The shadows.
My heart is pained also.
Our love as one.
Our love has won.

Announce to the world
This love BEGAN

Twenty- Five Years

Fly away,
To a place where humanity lays,
Where do you think you'll be in 25 years?

We cant lie,
A part of us is gone when a loved one dies,
Where do you think you'll be in 25 years?

Winter will be cold,
I hope we all have someone to hold,
Where do you think you'll be in 25 years?

Pain and death has started to obscure
The hairs of a young girl are getting fewer,
The Doctors say she wont see 25 years.

A lasting love was once found,
For two young teens in an old town,
They are blessed to see 25 years.

The point I am trying to make,
Is that life is a gift that God can give or take,
So where do you think you'll be in 25 years?

"the White Knight"

His path was obscure, his eyes laced with dust;
Persued by clouds and a chill, howling gust-
Loyal to one whose heart he did yearn;
Beset with some hardship at every turn-
His horse has power and spirit indeed,
With stealth he strikes with blazing speed!

The carnage he saw day after day
And wicked men lying in death's array-
Through clashing armor, he needs must go on,
To rescue his love, imprisoned beyond!
The battle was fierce and fought within sight,
Of the maiden so fair, who loved the white knight!

The Deprived Love

When the sun refused to give in to season
Where were you?
Why did you eat poisonous food?
When the wind blew crisis around us
What step did you take?
When religion, race, politics and personality
Gave in to instrument of deprivation
Acceptance was not obscure to view
When relatives, friends, colleagues and neighbours
Stood on the fence
Denial was inevitable
Go l say again go forever
For the vacuum is now filled with unquenchable fire
The seed we share must timely long to see me

Choosing Obscurity

Can any fonder love myself endure
Than self-regard bestowed upon a name,
Or for the cause of unrelenting fame
Become a thing unpleasant to inure
Myself, I think it wise, I must demure,
And savor all the taste of dignity
If takes the pleasure from my liberty,
Then I shall suffer long to be obscure.

I struggle for the loss of all that’s me,
When ego flees in search of undue pride
And leaves an aching heart bereft with tears
While my emotions, hopes and dreams, do flee
Perhaps what’s left behind inside of me
Are nothing more than strains of devilish fears.

Recognize Reality

Sometimes love feels like a game that's devoid of any rules. And unsure of what to do, you're obliged to play with fools. Trust is but an illusion; fraught with insincerity. For life's broken promises tend to obscure clarity. Loneliness rallies to hope; fearful of what fate may hold. And you keep spilling warm tears over a heart that's gone cold. Recognize reality; don't be misled by a kiss. And clear your path of half-truths; to find happiness and bliss. Though it hurts to walk away, it's your first step of many. Yet, that pain will fade in time; and soon, there won't be any.
