A Poet's Prayer

In love
I keep coming back
to this place in the hope
I'll hear your voice,
feel your presence settle
the evening and draw closer
in the scented air.
Already spring has fired the furnaces
of desire and life trembles. Flowers
beckon bees and I too seem drawn
to this holy place.

And yet this throbbing world
seems veneered on a core of silence,
the most exquisite sounds arise
out of a hollow. My words echo
around its walls and go unanswered.
I keep coming back
still enamored with creation, lovesick,
holding these humble prayers
I pin to a closed door
hoping it will open.

Love Vs Money

Baby let's sit down here
Just let's make everything clear
Stop buying me presents when you are not near
I don't want your wallet, i just want you to be real

I want to feel your love, I want you to stay with me
I'm sick of your diamonds, Sick of you not happy being with me
I dont want to ride your benz, i dont want to use your card
If you think so, you are wrong, it's better to get apart

I don't want your diamond ring, I don't want your prada shoes
All i want is simple kindness and love before you lose
It's true when you have got money you feel good and safe
But, when you have no love, you start losing faith

Loveless

Loveless Sweet thorns embrace the heart living in pain, which never uttered soft a lovesick sigh. Such judged that passion’s not a value gained. Loveless in life, the time had passed on by. As empty years progress, one grows deranged, left in a box where broken dreams do lie. God’s promise is for His love to restore, the injured soul deprived of it before.

Virgo Intacta

Vicious virtual reality queen
Stance of a virgin is to entice the man.
Characteristics of love, peace, and harmony is a
     Viral virus a love disease.

Such savage love is tempting.
Astrophysical in her mating habits.
As sensual as the stars in the sky,
     anticyclone is an astral presence.

Virgo is her zodiac sign.
Her birthday is September 18.
A spike of grain she duly gives.
You will be lovesick when the relationship ends.

The blue sky weeps in this blue world
It seems to tell a story, a story about nothing
The sun smiles, it smiles as it kills the moon
Gone forever and lovesick! Fading into nothing
Remembrance is a pain not wanted, nor needed
It feels warm in the dark, feels like death
Nothing can bring it back. Nothing can fix it
Missing this darkness that warms the body
Missing this darkness that warms the soul

Lovesick

A lovesick poke took his guitar to find his true love at the bars. When her beau heard the tune, he went over the moon, crashed to earth, and saw lots of stars.

Limerence

Less than love, and a disease, is limerence because

Infatuation rules the heart; obsession is the state,

Madness overtaking one who longs for love’s sweet buzz.

Enveloped by emotions, the lovesick cannot wait!

Reciprocation of his feelings is for what he yearns.

Excitement builds. Euphoria he thinks is coming soon.

Next thing you know, his ecstasy to melancholy turns,

Catapulting the infected into utter gloom!

Ephemeral are feelings that without trust's glue spell doom.

Lovesick Moon

moon mesmerizes
and bewitches your senses
with
AN ENCHANTING SPELL

moon lights the candle
that melts with ardent passion
two
HEARTS IN ERUPTION

moon kissed the peach cheeks
in the ravishing twilight
when
TWO LOST SOULS MELTED

Desperate be the matter:
When “fished” out of water
Yet, lovesick Valentine
I snap “hook” and “twine”....
Out of my warm fountain
For her in a hot mountain!

Forbidden Love

Hidden from Society Hidden from Public Avoiding a Notoriety My feelings now lovesick Never forgotten this Romance Forever lasting in my head Wrapped in this love-filled dance This hunger must be fed Moments will be missed And you will be too Every touch, Every kiss Aching to be with you For you to be with me My heart tattooed with Love's ink Visible on my cheeks, Blossomed cherry red and pink Love and Lust; I cannot get enough Longing for this act of Forbidden Love

Tongue Twister Time

Tongue Twister Time

Lanky Louie fell in love with the last love of his life,
The luster lasted a really long time,
Then suddenly Lanky Louie’s love left!
Feeling lethargic, listless and lovesick,
With lingering memories, of his last love lost,
Lanky Louie’s life still lonely, but
Soothed by the luster he has left!

Tongue Twister Line:

"Last love lost, is the loneliest love, when the lingering love left is luster!"

No Worries

Now and then I start to think how nice that it would be
To see your face, to hear your voice, to have you near to me
Every hour of every day, I wouldn't tire of
Your presence or your company, those two things I'd love
I'm not some crazy lovesick man, I'm just a fool for you
I've come across the perfect match in things I like to do
So sometimes if it seems to you I've gone a bit too far
With paintings, a tattoo and such, don't think that I'm bizarre
My feelings live inside my heart, although of them you know
And there they shall remain until a day when they can show

You Are My Love

You are my love, needs I Say more,
Must I with, fancy words to state,
expound upon my need for you
And with a lovesick phrase relate,
That without you, life’s such a bore,
And that I need you more and more.

Yes, needs I must, for it is true?
You are all to me, without; within,
To feed my insatiable lovers whim,
Wrapped, within mine heart are you.
My world is you, I need no other view.

Delicate Love, flying on gossamer wings,
Loves that have gone before, cast shadows,
But having gone are but ephemeral things,
Forget the past, this love now, is not like those,
And out of all that may have been, it is you I chose.

Lovesick

Feelings of heart, emotions of eyes.
Wanderings of mind, expectations of ears.
Days are passing, but love is waiting…
Ears are waiting, to hear some soothing…

Distance increased; affection decreased.
Existence questioned; imagination erased.
Are you there? Hearts corner felt empty.
Where you went? Eyes are dry and wifty.

Music gave peace and happiness once.
Attic of mind filled with romance those days.
Dreams were full of love and warmth!
Hugs and cuddles made life complete…

Wondering how long I must wait!
Assuming this wait will be short.
Restore the life with passion and love…
Before the mind go crazy and mismove…

Hopeless Romantic

Hopelessly romantically lovesick.
Love you but is it really true?

Can I pull through,
Or am I only being melodramatic.

Hopelessly romantically daydreaming,
Love you but will it ever be true?

Can I pull through,
Or am I only far too hoping?

Hopelessly romantically lovesick.
Love you but will it always be true?

Can I pull through,
Or am I only fancifully in love with you?

The Endless Fool

The endless fool

Oh heart, you sad fool
Did you not learn
Did you so soon forget
Love, how wicked
Like a siren calling you
Come you lovesick fool
The flame, it burns you
Every time it hurts you
Why do you not see
Why do you draw near
Each scar runs deep
Each wound deeper still
Yet you oh endless fool
You let it in
You let it kill
Oh wretched heart
You are sad indeed
Love is a dagger
It only makes you bleed

I Can'T Help It

I can't help that
When I'm around you,
My heart starts beating
like a million drums,
In perfect rhythm.

I can't help it,
If my knees go weak
Everytime I see you.
And that I get butterflies.

I know,
I sound like a lovesick
10 year-old girl.

But I just can't help it.

Lovesick Minnesota

I see you over there,
nervously playing with your hair
blushing at the ground
and trying not to stare,
so I'm pretending not to care.
(Tonight is bright and full of lights.)
I still don't care,
I'm trying to win you over
I'm playing the part,
I'm playing fair,
but you're gorgeous and distracting
...I'm not getting anywhere.
So don't trust me when I'm love sick
just carry me on through.
It doesn't matter where I end up
if I'm ending up with you.
I'll hold you tighter when your cold
girl I know how seasons do.
Warmer hearts in Minnesota
when it's negative two.

Cyrano

Oh c*nt, you dick

It is so nice to talk like Cyrano and be polite

Towards the goals of love. To fight

No more. To write quite lovesick

On the topic in a way most delicate, refined

And win a heart not by title nor by cash

Instead by art, to be quite dignified about the flesh

A master of the body and the mind

If we are prostitutes, then let it be, of a most Godly Muse

"You whore", you may accuse:

"Of the divine, of the less earthly matters"

When I kiss in love letters

It goes to show

By sublimation, the reality of Love I know

Tether

Give me seconds, give me thirds!
Do I deserve what you've preserved!?
Lovesick, heartsick--kept chained inside

Numb--tight lipped, captive to the fear
Listening to the gears as they begin to turn
Watching in dismay as everything starts to rust

I must release myself & become one among the captives
Love crippled, my heart's petrified of letting someone in
Losing sleep--tossing & turning amongst the sheets

Moonlit screams come piercing in--waking me from my dream
Breaking every tether, drifting like a feather
I smoother the 3 leaf clover, list I wish for another dreamboat lover.

Lovesick

I wished and wished for a girl like you
That I could cherish until a hundred and two
How can I ever get you to notice me
Write you a poem of how it could be
Then present it to you on bended knee

That's just too corny, you wouldn't believe
The old fashioned style just isn't the key
Should I act like a man, dress all in black
Grow a mustache and drive a Cadillac
Throw money all around like I'm a fat cat

God only knows what you might prefer
Tee shirt and shorts or a long mink fir
I'll just be me the next time we meet
I'll probably keep it short and sweet
And invite you out for coffee or tea

Pale Love

Love, my love has grown pale.
Lovelorn is alarming me, I fear loveless
Even though I have accepted lovesick.
Love I applaude you, you've thought me well.

Goodbye

Why didn't you come chasing after me,
When I said goodbye?
Did I mean nothing to you?
Just a useless, stupid toy?
I get weak at the knees,
When I think of that face.
Hearing your voice,
My heart starts to race.
Lovesick with that feeling,
Knowing it could have been meant to be.
But now you're gone,
I can't feel you there,
I'm long since missing,
Your charm and your Mayr.
Yet I still need you now,
In my heart and my dreams,
I long for a kiss,
A hug, not my screams.
I wish I could tell you,
That I love you so.
But what's done is done.
I guess I have to let go.
Even though I won't,
You won't ever hear.
I'll try not to say it.
But I'll remember it, dear.
