Love On The Riverbed

Love On The Riverbed

He pitched a tent on her banks
Her teeth clenched as pegs dug deep
Campfire sparks, heat's erecting
The winds howling in lost flight

Plucked your smile

soft scent of spring blooms a rose
throbbed in thorns, a warm gaze close.
urge to hold and pluck your smile,
will I fall in love, who knows?

Her Jaded Passion

Reckless and fast paced
Love in time displaced
By a bitter taste
Ardour gone to waste.

Heart Depths

Surf your love with feels sincere
that love's lifts do life adhere.
Let love's true joy ebb and flow
in wave depths the heart may stow.

Sincere feels in all surged forms
adhere love storms to coursed norms.
Flow love as pooled weak or brave.
Stow heart depths to surf love's waves.

Nothing

I know nothing, and I know it well, it makes sure that my head doesn't swell. Nothing is futile to gripe about, it outlasts my compulsion to shout. Nothing is the stuff of sleepless nights confusing, like deer caught in highlights. Nothing has no weight or feel to it, it's the jargon of a hypocrite. Loss of innocence is a slow theft, and yet, nothing is all that is left. And nothing cannot be washed away by tears, if it’s determined to stay. Nothing is frightening to face down, an empty promise, it’s found downtown. Nothing can obscure my path to love, challenging my heart to rise above. (Couplets) Mar. 18, 2019

In The Corner

In the corner of my heart
Hides deep emotion for you ,
Which tries to tear me apart ,
Like a strange tumor, it grew .

Though the space is full but still,
The feeling is raised so high,
It flows down like stream from hill,
With out pour of love from sky .

I can’t hold it for too long ,
My face and eyes betray me,
Fire that burns in me is strong ,
I wish to set my heart free .

In the corner of my soul ,
I long to dwell in heaven ,
Where my love will play a role,
Pain endured this past seven .

The Fount of Our Love- JQ

I met you when we were young,
in that second tunes were sung.
Like hummingbirds resounding,
your sweetest smile astounding.

Young were we with love anew,
sung with beauty our song true.
Resounding beaut melodies,
astounding fond memories.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For we bestow hope with love,
giving me what I dreamed of.
Now with your hand I shall stand
tall and proud as God has planned.
Love so rare is much adored,
of all we share in accord.
Stand with me on a high mount,
planned from heaven is love’s fount.
Nature's Trio - Wonder, Love, Beauty
North star that shines on clear night.
Sat still, at peace, on moon's right.
How does the small moon prince thrive?
At night flies a bright, white kite.
In comes the wash of high tide.
Two pairs of feet side by side.
Where did they go? Who were they?
Far off, see! The groom and bride.
Sun glints bright on white topped wave.
Such blend of warmth marks the cave.
How birds dance on silk clouds high.
For soon come the fish they crave.
A Bird's Sigh
Green quill glides down from gray sky
Sweet song sung soft on branch high
Is she cried for her lost love?
While he lay down, a grave sigh.
Sweet the Greet
Dedicated to my beloved big brother, Billy, and his unique journey
For years he lived on the street with no food in cold and heat. My bro's rough life broke my heart, once brought home, sweet was our greet!
Damage Done
I, thus drowned in death's cold wake
          Eyes wept bare for breath's last sake
               Not then seen, 'midst blood and loss
     How my heart, thru grief, could break.
Always You
Your love is like  a tender flame,
one in which I can't contain.
Your lips are like a violin,
softly playing on my skin.
Your laughter fills my heart with glee,
whenever you are nearest me.
Your dancing flames my desire,
setting my whole world on fire.
Your beauty's grace on me is spent.
almost if you're heaven sent.
You're all that ever turns my head.
and you'll be that way until I'm dead.
