One rose budding
all silken wrapped
in soft pink
petal feelings
parting emotions
Her heart blushing
red crimson passion
intensity grows
beating love starts
slave of desire
Flying on wings
pollinating
rising tension
excitement landing
on nectar
tasting sweet mead
Desiring royal jelly
queened goddess
beautiful honey
you bloom so sweet
wearing the heart's core
embraced in love

Sweet Tooth
She always asks for candy,
When we ask what she wants for her Day,
Or on Christmas she asks for pralines,
That come from far away.
She never asks for diamonds,
Nor an eco friendly mink;
Only some kind of truffles,
Or a gooey chocolate drink.
Jelly beans by the handfuls,
She keeps at her kitchen door,
I’ll want that candy dish in her will,
Just in case it fills some more.
We all just call her Sweet Tooth,
She never puts on any pounds,
If she did, we’d love her just the same,
For GrandMother is sweet as it sounds.

birthday, friend,
Shhhhh I’ve been told a secret from a little bird
I can’t keep it any longer my words must now be heard
Our lovely friend Jack Ellison is 80 years young today
Cathie’s throwing him a little party so lets be on our way
There’ll be jelly and ice cream and sandwiches galore
Once the plates are empty Cathie will bring lots more
Jack will be on the star attraction he’s such a lovely man
Happy birthday dear Jack from your number one soup fan
Love and hugs dear cyber brother Jack

missing you,
A golden key in my hand
Perhaps it opens the door to a secret room
Pandora's box - seeking total freedom through love
Will the future be controlled by the past
Sentimental thoughts - heart grabs the soul
A dew drop is laying like jelly and shaking
It seemed almost impossible
Your words lift me up
I can climb the highest mountain
Living present in hope and love
The silence sinks in ... tears born of flames
Empty thoughts sets no trace

In the wee hour before customers came to call,
Groceries came to life and had a Cinderella ball.
"Je'taime," purred the french toast to the frozen peas,
"Oh quit your fast talk. I'm southern, If you please."
The peanut butter tried his luck. He felt rather 'hunky'.
He winked at the jelly. She gasped. "You sir, are chunky!"
Lemons and limes provided fragrance. Love was found.
Mr Goodbar married Mrs. Butterworth, their children sold by the pound.

death of a friend,
There was once a MAN;
An Iroko in a forest of shrubs,
A dew pond in a desert.
There was once a MAN;
A moral compass in a world
Where power is noble,
And greed a creed.
There was once a MAN;
He silenced the gun,
Shattered prison bars,
Ascended the throne, armed
With love and forgiveness,
And made despots jelly.
There was once a MAN:
NELSON MANDELA!

Animals put their trust in us
and deserves care and love
A small pink jelly nose
Hours feels very long ... like an eternity
Eyes that speak their own language
Do not leave me
It's so hard to let go
No mouse ... money for food
So little bitty and fast on feet
A prayer without words
The beauty of your face
I know ... but I can not approve
Protects you with angel wings
I love you today and will love you tomorrow

life, love, nature,
The poem as novel
Small grapes of the morning like poetry,
cold water pulsing deep in the well,
a bag of bright nails in the yard,
the smell of cut wood wet in the sun,
the mild bite of pain put on everything
and everything still to be done
-- when love's first sting buckles them to the ground.
The long melons of the afternoon like prose
and by the poolside the gin drinks and the sun,
the new car bright
as a jelly bean on the lawn,
a glaze of clean order put on everything
yet everything looking to be done
--when love has rubbed them smooth as a stone.

food, love,
I love peanut butter, my favorite spread
Everyone likes it with jelly on bread
When I was a kid, Mom made a treat
Peanut buttered bananas can’t be beat
Eat warm peanut butter cookies - non-stop
They all had cross marks from a fork on top
Peanut butter on crackers with some honey
Fun to eat and it’s good for the tummy
Peanut butter is also in candy
Reese’s Pieces and Buckeyes are dandy
The thought of this dish may give you fit
Peanut butter on onions, I like it!

funny love, satire,
There once was a young girl named Nellie,
Who loved peanut butter and jelly.
She ate till it hurt and extended her girth,
Now they're calling her Nellie the Belly.
There once was a young man named Toby,
Who yearned for a shiny gold trophy,
But he had two left feet and was no athlete,
And his muscles succumbed to atrophy.
Now Nellie and Toby did meet,
And each thought the other was sweet.
They decided to marry and they didn't tarry,
And produced chubby kids with bad feet.

boyfriend, happiness, love, relationship, summer,
Up under this tree we found love,
the sky was looking down from above,
Love found its way to come between us,
Everyone's out on a picnic lunch,
the only food we're eating is love for brunch.
Peanut Butter jelly, White tennis-shoes,
back in the old days, you know how we use to do.
Set back have a mile conversation,
talking about life and every ridiculous situation.
When we set and talk, Our day is about over with,
then we'll chat and text each other the day after the picnic.
A beautiful day with just me and you,
being in love like teenagers, back in High-School.
Each wind that blow, My love grows closer.
We'll cherish this moment as our days get older.

A little amount of you
I will get and pour
I will swirl you around
Slow and slow and slow
Taking a sip of you
Oh! You make my world
Twirling around slowly
Holding my skirt a little up
I love the craziness
You wine make me feel
Building my confidence
To sing and dance with my heel
My cheeks blush rosy pink
Wishing, I still can think
On the sofa my hand holds
Controlling my jelly feet on floor

devotion, dog, friend, heartbroken, loss, love, pets,
Oh,
There's no greater feeling,
Than to be a mom again,
Four little paws,
A wet little nose,
Oh,
Jelly beans for little toes,
Floppy ears,
Short little legs,
Those big eyes that always beg,
Oh,
The lottery you would think,
We had won,
When I go to pick out,
My little Dachshund.

abuse, love, love hurts,
I tell you that love happened first,
In order
In that order— which is to be opened,
Flayed the heart that at first flinched
When the soul would blench at the sound of your voice
That once was love, turned destroyer,
You ask me if it was the chicken or the egg?
I can’t say, I know my heart quivering beating jelly pulpy thing
Would bet on the egg.
I know that heart then liquefies and pours itself out in a massive
torrential hemorrhage
Painting the pathway crimson
Congeals reconstitutes and reassembles into bricks,
That creates a wall that I place neatly back in my chest.

Go down like a dream.
Strawberries and cherries .
On the top.
Floating on a cream blop.
Ice cream. Strawberry, vanilla, choc.
I love the flavour, makes me rock.
Served in a glass cup.
long spoon, sup it up.
Birthdays, anniversaries.
Times to rejoice.
With a KnickerBocker Glory juice.

Will you stop missing him a lot;
No never, and certainly will not
And even yet she does suppose
On her forever he grows and grows.
Event though them death did part
He still remains deep in her heart
From the first time when married
And his wonderful baby she carried.
Sometimes things become extreme
As if part of an extravagant dream;
And it sure was such a lovely scene
Two of them sharing a jelly bean.
Together to heaven both have gone
And you can still see Nancy and Ron
Each of them walking hand in hand
Both still wearing their wedding band.
