The Wake

The
house was full
    of yesterdays-
books
    that filled
      wet Wednesdays
cross-stitch
   hours upon the wall
   eclectic
art,glass,pottery
collected,moments
   sentiments
   priceless,unique
   irreplaceable-
a smell of love
     percolated
      into offspring
memories
drifting
       to timeless

Write Me a Letter

"Write Me A Letter"

Write me a letter telling me its you
and send your voice for me to hear
Share such expressions of love for two

Help emotions build with only your trace
Build a library to have near
today tomorrow and always embrace

Let golden pens flow from thy loving heart
Tell me your kiss is what I wear
repeating our life is a new start

Words from only you I want evermore
for your love is my air
Irreplaceable touches of more

Write me a letter and I'll write one back
It will be like no other to share
with words and codes only you can crack

Love Yourself

Author Dana Redricks
November 11, 2018

Love yourself, embrace
yourself. Don't you know
You're are a gift
from God. Do you know
your worth. You're
one of a kind, a genuine
masterpiece. You were
made for a purpose. You
are irreplaceable. You
have something within
like no other, a hidden
treasure, that makes
you special. Never put
yourself down. You're
worth more than you
know. To yourself be true
and remember to always
love you, and the love
within you will reflect
back to others will return
back to you.

Love

Love is gentle
love is kind
love for me is when two hearts combine
it's like a football club
but with only two fans
both should be irrestible and irreplaceable
love each other and make the bond
unbreakable.
The more you are together, the more things
you share
the more you find new ways to show you care
love is not a word to say
neither is it a game to play
love doesn't start in april and end in may
love is yesterday,tomorrow and today.

Irreplaceable

This is my family, oddities and all.
Cam wants to see the world yet currently
lives a stones throw away from Mother's call.
While bubbly Michelle wears rainbow attire
as if to challenge her smile openly
shared. My siblings sometimes ice, sometimes fire,
but they are apart of me, through and through.
Justin smokes like a chimney, drinks like a
sailor (and cooler than a glacier, too!).
Mom and Dad don't have a thing in common,
but thirty-four years states they're a-okay.
This is my family, oddities and all,
but they are apart of me through and through.

DOTTIE v THE BIG C

Big C. Big deal
You threatened her breasts
And ravaged her lungs
And filled her precious body with poison...

...you confined her to her bed
And devastated the love of her life
But she laughed at you
All the pain through
And still she made us all laugh too...

...because she was unbeatable
In every way. And always will be...

Adored, Revered, Unforgettable,
Irreplaceable.

Mother
                              Selfless, irreplaceable
                        Loving, correcting, sacrificing
                   Best friend, adviser, ally, confidante
                   Understanding, helping, supporting
                               Special, trustworthy

The Definition of a Provider

You listen to all my babbling and triggering
Your friendship knows no belittling or conjecturing
You're just simply that special irreplaceable something
My love for you comes with total understanding
I am a warrior by your side waiting for commanding
Your secrets will be buried with me into this earth
This is my solemn promise to you and your worth
You never asked for devotion in our interaction
I never expected your Muse to be an attraction

Incomplete Thoughts

Had those eyes never locked…
A fragmentary man I…
A love of my life lost…
Soul Mate…
Inimitable…
Without that stanch passion…
Apathetic existence…

Lives drifting disjointedly away
Corridors leading into the present
Our waters perpetually abound
Farther reaches than the shoreline
Love ardently remitted is my peace
Carrying to me sweet scented melodies
Of shadowed moments icily fading
Had I never melted of your gaze
So secluded within only our time
An incomplete soul drifting forlorn
Accursed on the winds impulses

A love of my life lost…
Soul Mate…
Irreplaceable…
Never forgotten…

Truth...

Alone
Broken
Lost
Forgotten
Abandoned
Without a home
Without a future
Missing the luxury of life
The love that we buy ourselves
But they have smiles…
Real ones
They have beauty…
Natural and irreplaceable
And love…
Innocent, sincere love
That they give away freely
Giving all they have and more
We are the ones who are alone
Broken
Lost
Forgotten
Abandoned
We’re missing the picture
Through less they have more
Through more we have less
Think about it

Mothers' Love

Oh dear mothers,
we are proud of your love!
Your love is like stars in the sky,
and sweet like honey
to those who have ever tasted it and not.
Whenever we fell sick,
you take extra care about us
and it's you who knows
what we need to save our lives.
Good mothers,
How wonderful you're and your love is!
What can we replace into our hearts
without your love?
We know some are gone
where we have to rest forever
but their love is irreplaceable!
Let your love be praised in all generations;
because your love is gold.

Irreplaceable Smile

I got one unique smile;
Noticeable even from a mile.
Behold me with your eyes
sure, blood bathes my face

Don't mistake my closeness
nor ever encase me in sweetness.
I am no enchantress
as this my widest grin...

Smiling in joys and pains
as though nothing in vain.
Love, hope and faith I retain.
Indeed, keeping me sane.

I Love You

Author Dana Redricks
December 12, 2018

I love you through and
through
Whatever we face I
know we will make
it through
Come rain or sunny
days we will find a way
Even when I'm mad at
you, my love for you
remains true
You bring out the best
in me
You are like no other
We have an irreplaceable
bound

Will You Save Her

she will wear her heart on her sleeve
she can read anyone she meets
but shes irreplaceable
she will love you with her life
through the toil through the strife
even though you broke her heart
will you come and save her
will you be her knight
pick up her broken pieces tell her its all right
she is fighting through her tears
trying to make it real
fighting to find true love in you
she is drowning in her fears
questioning everything you say
is it real or is it false
don't throw this girl away
she is irreplaceable
will you save her
will you be her knight
pick up her broken pieces
tell her everything is all right

All of Me, and All of You

To me, everything about you is irreplaceable. We have become intertwined. We are inseparable. I want to have and hold everything that is you. I will reciprocate, and you will have all of me too. Hold onto me as we journey through time. I will do all in my power to make your life sublime. Consider my love for you one sure guarantee. For the rest of our lives, you will always have me.

It Must Be Love

Listening to the sound of my breathing as I lay at your side Makes me self conscious sometimes as my heart begins to race . Then I remember how much you love me and I begin to relax I am like a child on Christmas morning every time you come near What will it be I wonder a kiss a hug a pat a tickle a pinch Or a combination of two or three of these endearing traits that make you irreplaceable to me And every time is like the first time And after all these years it must be love

Mother of Pearl

She’s like the sun that shines each day

She’s the one who’s advice I obey

She’s the only one who will try to understand

The one who’s love is irreplaceable and grand

Just like the earth that bears us with pride
She’s the only one who will stay by my side

The one who’s arms embrace so tight

She’s the one who’s make things right

The one who copes with the hardest years

The one who’s there to wipe away the tears

Even though we’re different from one another

She’s my defender my lovely mother.

A Beautiful Hypocrisy

Love is twofaced.

It is both euphoria & agony.
It is wonderfully simple.
Yet unreservedly complex.

It can be innocent & unadulterated.
Bursting at the seams.
Teeming with a delicate desire.

It can be tainted & corrupt.
Rotten to the very core,
A mechanism of deception.

Love is unkind.

It is merciless & inconsiderate.
It exploits the young & weak.
But revives the miserable.
Love is an irreplaceable, conceited, ecstasy.

& Love is all that I live for.

Bones of the Eternal Sea

stillness fashioned from the bleached bones of the eternal sea...
heart fashioned from the indecipherable night...

all the madness of
her young breathing heart distilled
from the rushing growing lusting living giving loving longing wanting
found in a single tear of her fondest fare thee well....

unyielding to forces of nature
his will easily overthrown
by a single touch of her honey sweet lips...
he thinks about her and surrenders...

found her on a beach of wood
washed up on an
evenings tide of chellos and champagne
her fragrant lace done up in a knot
lay in a tattered heap
thin bittersweet joy
all too fleeting
irreplaceable perfections kitty

No One Can Replace a Mother

P-icture of a mother is irreplaceable
U-nder God's grand design;
R-egardless of the world's weather,
I-t's deep in our heart and mind.
T-here's no one like a mother, she's an important instrument;
A-lmighty God has tasked her to do a lifetime commitment.

A-nd no one can replace a mother,
S-he's an exemplar of love and care;
U-ndauntedby sad situations,
N-othing can cause her hate and anger.
C-hildren should respect and obey
I-nstead of disregarding her;
O-ne in a billion given by God,
N-o one can replace a mother.

The Devil Charms

The devil sits with innocent eyes drooling in true love
Holding a fragrant rose to flatter my senses to rekindle love
His vicious intentions are to demolish my heart's lost love
But he is incorrigible and has dismally doused out my love

Blast his bony tail wagging hard at my bone china from the table!
Clobbering it in multitudes of eclipsed moons making it irreparable
Whining for clutter free chin resters, porcelains become irreplaceable
The cheeky charmer rivals everything that lives in my eyes cradle

He nudges and paws me to attention, whines for my deaf ears to hear
His heart heaves as he rests his head in my lap till arms hold him near
