(Instrumental)

Music is the liberation of the mind
Many nights I get lost in its depths
Eyes closed, in each moment of solitude,
Forgetting about life and its loud parties
Feeling the spiritual mending in my heart
There are well written lyrics
in most of the songs that I love,
But if my poems were put to music
There wouldn't be any words…
And it would be the same feeling,
and feelings are where all meaningful art is born
That’s what music or any art should do for someone
It should make them feel something
Feeling the art is better than hearing it
Do you get where I’m coming from?
Or are you just reading these poems?

Instrumental Knocks

Surrender to rhythmic initiations,
Moan and groan with accusations,
In foreplay rushes see passion release;
Intoned rumble in her fermented pleas.

Fulcrum strokes in the crazy display,
Freaked-out embedded techniques?
Rapture tunes these percussion beats,
Anticipation bolts in delight of thrill meets.

Love squeals in her ecstasy shrieks,
Quivers torment the resonating geeks,
Smitten desire bitten and tweaked,
Brimming lust probes petals sweet.

"G" flows on high in the heated pitch,
Pulse and quakes in the drum stick glitch,
Bewitching thump and the hard kicks
Drum-rolls tenderness to my tricks:

This One's For You

I wrote a song for someone
She knows by name just who
It's not a dedication
Not this, this one's for you

It took some time to finish
But that's only because
If you rush you can dimish
The meaning, so you just pause

When you reach that dreaded moment
Every artist does despise
Looking at a blank slate
Staring back with blanker eyes

There are no words to sing to
No lyrics to peruse
It's only instrumental
But still my thoughts infuse

And fill each note and phrasing
Nothing there by chance
In quiet contemplation
I composed for you this dance

I hope you'll always like it
And listen now and then
Remembering I loved you
Each time it's played again

If I Were Your Queen

“If I WAS YOUR QUEEN”

All your dreams fulfilled
Your heart’s desires
Willingly pleased
After a hard day’s work
When I will be home before you
Awaiting your return with open arms
With an, I Love You
Looking deep into your eyes
Welcoming you to the warmth
And pure love in my heart
Run you a warm bath
Scented with love and appreciation
For the unique amazing king that you are
And when you are more relaxed
Your head cradled in my lap
Gently moulding your shoulders to relax
Soothing your mind
With soft instrumental tunes
And my reading of calm poetry

Don'T Take My Blessing Away

Don’t Take My Blessing Away

When I want to give you my heart and soul,
Please let me play an instrumental role.
As I try to make you happy each day,
Please don’t take my blessing away.

When I ask you to let me take part,
In an attempt to heal your broken heart.
If I succeed, let me say,
Please don’t take my blessing away.

When I send love from a far,
Let me come and linger where you are.
No one will attempt to make you stay,
While I’m here, don’t take my blessing away.

When I come with love that God has sent,
That love takes away the cry of lament.
I can get on my knees and pray,
God, don’t let anyone take my blessing away.

Metalhead Poet

Yes I'm a metal head
Yes I write poetry
Yes this is the general concept of my story
And yes I'm usually hunky dory

Booming cords from the electric guitar
Echoing in my mind, heart racing faster than a flying car
Static it is to others,
It speaks to me softer than a sweet lover

As I write this very poem
I'm blasting metal from jvc headphones
Listening to instrumental metal,
Letting me fill in the words as my mind settles

I can still be sensitive and still enjoy headbanging
Just watch out for my long brown hair when it starts swinging
Music so loud my ears start ringing
But i don't care as long as my heart keeps singing

Solitary Moment

I closed my eyes
sinking under the blanket of music
sound waves are my sheets
the crescendo of heartbeats my pillow
the warmth of interpretation my blanket
I float I dream my senses are in disarray
all because of my love for you.
I hear your voice in all I do
I see your face, smiling back at me.
in the reflection of the music.
you are my life, my soulmate
my reason for living, for life itself

Poetic Cries Cured

Lain in bed dreaming of hallowed whispers spoken in baritone harmony Mind manifesting cries in instrumental song that sing soothing melodies to my wailing heart I'm held by a symphony of falling teardrops that dance to a love like ballad of drunken romance, while hymns I pen, and my crushed comforts are captured by cracked stanzas... My poetic cure will forever be tuned in chords of expletive love Lay

The Bluebell Concert

Heaven’s orchestra.
The concert begins.
Symphony played.
Instrumental composition,
Springs violins sounds,
Trumpets call,
The earth rejoices.
Woodwind blows,
Tempo vibrating love.
Dawn chorus! Awakens,
Clashing cymbals,
Bluebells chime.
Beats with poetic rhythm.
The audience watch.
As crescendo of colour,
Blooms.

Kingdom

The words were instrumental
in the notes would play within.

A cannon for a mouth-piece
would launch them to begin.

Each melody a sentence
hanging in the air.

A clustering of letters
alive and in a prayer.

A speech made by a King
His melody of rings.

A proclamation made
that everybody sings.

A message being heard
of love and joy abound.

A kingdom for a subject
without no love is found.

Do You Ever Get That Feeling

Do you ever get that feeling when you listen to music
When the lyrics float about your mind
When the instrumental part takes your breath away
When the voices sing a line
I do every day of my life

It feels amazing when it starts
Feels as if the early birds sing along
To that favorite song
That has no ending
It's what I'm seeing

It's tremendous when the melodies help you realize things
Feels like another place you been too
But never seen
A place I made my fantasy
Somewhere I always dreamed to be

I love that feeling
Love how the sweet harmony
Changes me towards my family
The song says to be good and brave
I just love that feeling
Do you?

S4l Sucker For Love

What you do for me hasn't been done in quite some time, what you do is provide a feeling that I lost & didn't think I would find, no matter what's going on your voice makes it better, & when I realized that my heart said you got to go get her, then you had me thinking about the days past tommorow & trying to figure out how to ask for your future to borrow, I think I'm addicted to your smile & laugh, your skin is soft like you took a Cambodian breast milk bath, your body is a temple, I was in a dark place met you started climbing out, you were instrumental, actions speak louder than words so these stanzas are just a interview I was so nervous writing this but I got it out, whew

This Morning

Against cold feet
warm extremities
Feeling forever foutunate
Holding loves waistline
 joy from behind
The moon makes the moments last longer on earth as it shines
Fetal positioned opposites
Caught in an inseparable bind
Divine kisses to the spine
this euphoria of mine
Created just for me in the beginning of time.
My heart is a super producer

INSTRUMENTAL
       Love is music
      and instrument,
        when we play...

        MOON
       It's an adventure
      suspended in the air
      suspense...

        TASTE
       More tasty than wine,
      more than cheese ...
       the taste of your kiss...

        SENSATION
       In lighted bodies,
       we burn love ...
       We share desires...

         PAINTING
       The strongest ink ,
        It's your carmine ...
         When I paint love ...!

Canadian Sunset

Years ago, there was an instrumental hit so terrific. Composer Eddie Heywood wrote the music Performed by Hugo Winterhalter and his Orchestra, the music vicariously sent us to a winter in Canada. Singer Andy Williams added lyrics to the melody. With Andy’s voice, the song sounds heavenly. I would love to be up there even though I don’t ski. A sunset in Canadian mountains is what I want to see. July 22, 2012

Love Child

She was the consequence of lust
In a cheap room over a bar.
He remembered as though it were
yesterday. Her naive mother
Was only nineteen and single
at the time; him? He was married,
Separated and twenty-eight.
Below, in the bar, the jukebox
Was blaring an instrumental
Whose deep, bass guitar synchronized
with every copulating thrust.
The tune ended before the sex
And climaxed with a gestation
To Diana Ross’s “Love Child.”

If

If love had a name
it would be yours,
if your walk was a symphony
I would write instrumental scores

If your beauty had a price
I would gladly pay,
and if the night befell you
I would beg for another day.

Dancing Under the Lights of the Waterfall

Step side to side
Sway to our song
Your heart is the lyrics
My soul the instrumental
Hold my hand the way Jesus held the nails
Step side to side
Nerves waltz to love
No music is needed
When sacrifice becomes a verb
I'll hold you like the space between us is trying to escape
Step side to side
A crowded ball room that only sees us
Watching movies with the sound off
Empty hands have the fullest hearts
And the cup of my rhythmic soul runneth over
p.s. don't forget to kiss me under the waterfall chandeliers...

Frequencies of Comfort

Allow me to be an instrument
Harmonizing notes of hope
Seeping to the deepest areas of sorrow
An air of unforeseen humility
Sending frequencies of empathy

A vibrational wind of faith
To those who suffer
May the music bring an instrumental joy
Broadcasting melodies of compassion
Tangled within the atmosphere

Exerting tunes that soothes all pain
Let me be an instrument
For the one’s with a heavy heart
May they hear the little ditties of love

Transmitting silent chords erasing worries
As passionate themes suppress the agony

And even if only for a brief moment suffering -paused
Followed by only peaceful sounds of comfort

Love's Hidden Dictionary

Love is catering to another being

It could be a person, frog, or queen

No matter the status or position

Only love can satisfy a grand inquisition

Love is laying bare what you can share

Going down to unseen roots

The way a mighty oak grapples earth

Though sometimes love floats on a breeze

Ethereally, love is unpredictable

Some use love

The way bankers count money

Storing tomorrow's honey-

Or with instrumental purpose

Like a wrench to a socket

Love comes oddly

But love is beyond

Material in the pocket

Love is universal, though

Special every time

Spontaneous and vibrant

Only love makes the verses shine

Reborn Believer An American Sonnet

Surely it is the stuff of storybooks,
the instrumental fanfare of lovers;
Silhouettes strolling into the sunset,
where did all of this delusion come from?

Maybe a piece is grounded in what’s real,
fire fiction has to begin somewhere right?
Go ahead, convert me at once I say,
I’d love to be a reborn believer;

Oh, that first kiss was like a slow ballad
and waking to the face of Prince Charming;
Such a clean high off that dopamine rush,
I just knew he had memorized my taste;

Falling in love under dreamy bright stars,
affection slowly repairs ancient scars.

Know that I am

Be still and know that I am God.

What does that mean?
To know our Father is to do the following:

Sit in a comfortable chair
Put on instrumental easy music on low
With your heart ask what you need
Or be grateful for what you Have.
Close your eyes
For a while think of nothing
Breath deeply and slowly
Relax Your shoulders and
feel the rest of your body relax
With loving emotions feel his presence.
The Universe is alive with Love embracing you.
Please feel free to sit for as long as you want.
Now you know that you belong.
