Just a Young Cowboy

I would like to ask you to dance
But I'm a little shy
I would like to call you baby
An' look you in the eye

I'll bet you that we could two-step
An' have a real good time
An' I could write you a poem
An' say some words that rhyme

I could teach you to ride a hoss
Then gaze at stars above
Smell that fresh mountain air at night
An' talk of things like love

But then I'm just a young cowboy
An' I don't know such things
Still I'd like to call you baby
An' see if that song sings

Ignore Him

Toss and turn, turn and toss
  Those elephants in their beds
    designed for a 'hoss'

I love him; I love him not
He loves us; he loves us not
Thus do they while the night away...

What they wouldn't give to be able to sleep
Yet no matter how social media restricts him
He'll still find a way to say Bleep

If those elephants would only look past their nose
They might take a lesson from the donkeys, their foes --
Who let their failed Presidential Candidate
    Simply twist in the wind
    Until, inevitably
    She did herself in
