angst, loneliness,
Damned by the devil's curse upon my heart
I pace the lonely bridge twixt love and hate
Stalked by death's shadow from the very start
Forsaken by the guiding hand of fate
My restless soul sleeps in the tangled thorns
Nursed by the acrid milk of bitter weed
Tormented nightly by old lovers scorned
And haunted by a score of sinful deeds
Pray, take me now to storm the gates of hell
Confront the wicked one and question why
Twas reason for my birth under his spell
To live a loveless life until I die
I curse this lonely life given to me
The fire of hell is all t'will set me free

christian, easter, god, good friday, hope, jesus, love,
Friday, three days prior;
The Son was scourged and bleeding.
Sunday, when He rose again-
A spotless Lamb proceeded.
Friday, three days prior;
The Son had cried: “forsaken?”
Sunday, when He rose again-
The keys of hell were taken.
Friday, three days prior;
The Son of God was dead.
Sunday, when He rose again-
Trembling demons fled.
Friday, three days prior;
The Son was laid to rest.
Sunday, when He rose again-
He bore a Royal Crest.
Friday, three days prior;
The Son was in a tomb.
Sunday, when He rose again-
The Rose of Sharon bloomed.
Friday, three days prior;
The Son was set in stone.
Sunday, when He rose again-
He claimed His rightful throne.

cancer,
God, so cruel a plague upon me,
dreams crushed, forsaken,
even as I hopefully step
where the sun leaves me to smile
for those brief but celebrated
moments.
Through tear blurred windows
dear hearts that suffer more than I
can despise their suffering -
much more than my own sad fate.
I'm called brave but it is they
who smile through pain,
struggle for the right words.
They need not speak.
How lucky I have been
no matter my end
to have known such love.

loneliness, lost love, sad,
A hollow heart devoid of love
is like a night no stars above,
or like an old abandoned well
whose empty echoes speak of hell.
A lonely heart will gently weep
as raindrops through her veins will seep,
and cascade down a pallid cheek,
and leave a weary spirit weak.
My broken spirit aches with pain
when sun sinks low at end of day,
and darkness douses hopes thereof
as midnight chimes amidst the rain.
These sad forsaken dreams portray
my hollow heart devoid of love.

betrayal, heartbreak, hurt, lost love, pain,
Deep within the darkened halls of my mind I search each memory of love not meant to be.
Where love shone bright but now has left only tattered webs of pain and sorrow for me.
Lost and left behind to wander aimlessly, to feel the viperous sting of what once was, now no more.
To know of love's beauty and tenderness and passion between two hearts and all scars that it bore.
Like a ghost forever to wander these empty halls whaling for love's lost memories day and night.
Forgotten, forsaken this ghost with a broken heart, invisible, just an empty memory in plain sight.

Introduction: Blindfolded the world fades today, optimism awaits tomorrow...
Lies have many expressions
Can make one follow the mistaken,
Love has countless sensations
Can make one feel awaken,
Seek out the truth from its buried nation
As the deception has made it forsaken
No one knows where you’d disappear
For things you care is what you feel,
No one knows of what you hear,
One day you will deem what’s real
Ask Almighty to steer you clear
Help you save from your ordeal

happiness, life, loss, love, heart, heart, love, together,
We've come a long way
I can honestly say
As I look to the past
I never thought we'd last
But look where we are
We've come so far
We've given and we've taken
We've done things forsaken
We've laughed and we've cried
Sometimes we've even lied
I've hurt you and you've hurt me
But our love feels like it was meant to be
My heart is yours and your heart is mine
It is rare to find a love so divine
Our love is strong and it will come to grow
Forever together is a long time you know
By your side, I will always be
I love you and you love me
We'll stay together and never part
As long as our love comes from the heart

anxiety, death, grief, loneliness, longing, lost love, soulmate,
Afar I can still see a glow
Of lights dimmed to low
And sounds echoing hollow
Death, where are you..
Sway of lone pine tree
In a forlorn waltz by the sea
Begging you to set me free
Death, where are you..
Robbed of my only true love
Emotions raw on the wings of a dove
Breathless cries high above
Death, where are you..
What of destiny
And the arms of infinity
Have you forsaken me
Death, where are you..

And the fires of hell extinguished their sting and wept for mercy.
I heard your voice call me, oh Lord
And the army of heaven carried me away.
I felt your love touch me, oh Lord
And i knew i was home.
I am this Earth and Heaven above.
I have not forsaken you as you have not forsaken me.

heartbreak, lost love,
Rising above the destitute land
Barren are the quiet hills now
Echoing terrain's vacant sound
There, where sweet home was.
Tree uprooted quivers gently
Its scattered mangled remains
Swaying aches of forsaken pain
Mourning tranquility's death.
In solitude this climb he treks
Aspiring zest of rising dawns
As they concede to sullen days
Looking for her presence
Ever since the oldest tree fell
And the lone bird fled its nest.
The sunrise still evokes her name,
So does her beloved sunset.
Despite the dearest hopes he held
She never returned this way.

Her innocence in daisy plaits ,displayed
Such naievty was so soon betrayed,
Touching romance' nettle brought much pain
When discarded,by his disdain,
Tears welled upon her pillow,
Forsaken love long wears the willow-
A broken heart,no words could save,
Death's red poppy,petals her grave.

Test are made to determine what you know,
How you react, and what you are made of,
Even though some test will give you a shove,
Directing you where you might need to go.
At some point in time, you will have to grow
Instincts, that will elevate you above
Levels of hate that overshadow love.
You have the power to take any blow!
Right or wrong, these test will come with a grade.
Easy or hard, these test must be taken.
Progress is something that has to be made,
Or else your future will be forsaken.
Rest assured, some kind of price will be paid.
Time for your inner strength to awaken.

Nurturing an endless grudge
at life’s end the gentle nudge

Death, where are you
Breathless creature littered path
a trail of tears your aftermath
cold hallowed wail of livings wrath
Death, where are you
My pain beseeches you dear death
free these emotions, suppress my breath
beneath your cloak let me forget
Death, where are you

life,
Only time can mend what has been broken,
And fill the hole of words unspoken.
Replace what has been fear and hate,
Stop any further destruction in the wake,
and send a warming smile to the one that all has forsaken.
show a light down a path, without wrath.
And show love in its full form,
Mending the heart that is almost beyond reform.
A heart that life has torn like a hook,
Taking what can be took.
Time does mend a soul that is far more than broken,
By words unspoken.

lost love,
Then let not the sun's light fall upon me
Nor to caress my skin in warmer bond
For I care not if all my love has fled
To my forsaken realm if not beyond
For it stays with me in my time's increase
My wormwood memory will die from rot
As my passion's folly has held no peace
And stabs my soul with what yesterday brought
Could that memories find a rainbow's wish
Or remove tears when crossing lost love's ground
Again find peace if I should reminisce
It cannot be relived if even found
Let darkness come to imprison my heart
It shall be chained there until I depart

Take it.
Take it and throw it away.
It will never be the same anyway.
A hole.
A hole in my chest.
Ragged, raw and hollow.
The pain.
The pain is so intense, I'm numb.
It's a struggle to get through the day.
My bed.
My bed is my refuge.
If only I could stay here forever.
Do I?
Do I get up and pretend it doesn't hurt?
Maybe they'll all buy it.
Can't breathe.
Can't breathe when I remember.
That smile, that embrace I miss fiercely.
Were we?
Were we really happy?
Maybe I imagined it all.
Cast aside.
Cast aside with no reason.
I can't do this anymore, Love is Pain.

the given and the taken
sought their grave for things forsaken.
Belief and dream dissolving
to a point beyond resolving,
sinking painful instants after
in a hiss of serpent laughter.
Mythology sent packing,
fading image grey and lacking;
wasted time drained in seclusion,
mourned the rag and bone illusion.
What a fool, somehow believing
in the words, denied deceiving;
now alone with smiles resigned,
her orphaned love, no home to find.

yet you were always home.

lost love, love, memory,

I close my eyes
to find the forsaken
dancing like a gypsy in my skin
but unreachable
the prayer I breathe
lost to time, like weep to rain
yet ... it blooms
there - in the never-black
that smile ...
floating your face like a lily
tender lashes above
butterflies, waking the day
a call to worship
of the faultless bloom, white as lies
tempting as a truth
and sweet as ...
death.

and feeds them to the birds
who keep her from insanity
silent whispers without words

lost love
The darkness here is blinding
In this prison of lost desires
Not even a burning ember
Can rekindle the forsaken fires
A tomb of broken promises
Is my only company
No hope for an escape
No chance to ever be free
Pain and heartache mock me
As I ponder my mistakes
The sound I hear is deafening
From the heart that finally breaks
My thoughts, my only refuge
Of the things that could have been
But grief will soon remind me
Of the love that had to end
Comfort and joy betray me
Tomorrow will never come
Held captive in my anguish
As I am left, feeling numb
My purgatory is the silence
And here I shall remain
Forever to be forgotten
For my captor is my pain

So many times I feel like
giving up but something
on the inside of me won't
let me quit
I can't give up
I won't give up
The Lord keeps me going
strong when I can't find the
strength to stand
God take me by the hand
and holds me close and
reminds me of his love
Even when I'm feeling
lonely he reassured me
I'm not alone
Though the world forsaken
me, my Lord never will
I'll hold onto his promises
until my dying day until see
my, Lord someday face to face
