Things That Seemed Poetic

Things that seemed poetic were
always sad, though I yearned for
glitter and my dad's guffaw, which
never came. Familiar things were
always drear -- repeated motions
in the same old game. There were
only distant glimpses of budding
Spring, fleeting views of daffodils.
The strongest poems dealt me
death and dying. Still, I always
hoped, never went under to gray
despair, forever dreaming of a
garden of love we could share --
but those forbidden delights
faded quickly away. The only reality
I understand is the ever-looming
and final one. Nothing's changed.
The strongest poems deal
death and dying.

Forbidden Freedom, first ever Collaboration with the Silent One

If "we" are a sin,
Why is my heart bleeding for you?
Why is my soul screaming out your name?

Chained by the links of horrors that hold me against you,
Towered high up above the ground,
Little did they know I'd crumble every bone just for you.
I would not wish such adversity upon my adversaries, such as the animosity which chastises our hearts.

Every precious petal in my garden has turned black, waiting for your lips to rejuvenate their vibrant hues.

Why must love be cursed by society's blindness,
or has Cupid's ignorance plagued our forbidden fate. Maybe death is the only freedom for our devotion

Butterfly Wings

Like butterfly wings so fragile and soft 'neath my fingertips.
So featherlike are his kisses upon my waiting ruby lips.

The playful flutter of his fingers that dance upon my skin.
Such sweet pleasures it brings like a sensuous forbidden sin.

His loving embrace so tender like the wings of a beautiful butterfly.
His words soft and heartfelt their beauty brings a tear to my eye.

Forgotten Treasure

FORGOTTEN TREASURE

I've found the fountain of youth
When I stumbled across the forbidden garden
Right in the middle of everything
Was what I imagined being a wishing well
I at once tossed a quarter into the sea
Facing down, puzzled as can be
I peeked in to ensure where it fell
I tipped over and that's when I saw my vanity
It was sitting there waiting for me
The reflection was before this day and age
I thought, what could this be?
With one drop on my taste buds
I knew I found the one true key
The most beautiful thing that can set one free
I reached in to touch the poetry inside me

Dance With Me

Writing is dancing with words...
a titillating tango with verbs delicious...
a sultry waltz with rhythm and meter...
a hot rumba with randy adjectives...
a forbidden dance with unnamed nouns...
if this has not left you wanting more
then I shall dance with words no more.

Poetry is a pure passion play
of alliteration and words dancing in line,
           a quick-stepping, twin-tapping salsa,
		a seductive rhapsody in rhyme,
		     moving metaphors, measure and time…
my love is wrapped in this poetry
so will you please come dance with me?

My Insolent Heart

My insolent heart
is audacious.
It dives into your words
Feels your presence,
Makes love to you
Shamelessly.
My insolent heart
Knows the truth
That
you are unreachable.
still
it ventures around old memories,
recalls ,
recollects and
reconnects
Irresistibly.
My insolent heart
Takes me away from sanity
Gives me a false hope.
Makes me irrational
Causes irreparable
Damages.
My insolent heart
Knows no boundaries
It immigrates to a forbidden land where
love breaks the barrier.
I wonder why my heart is insolent. .

A Foodie's Love Sonnet

Bowled over, kneading you, feeling sub-lime
from my head tomatoes. Hear my heart beet!
Eggcited, wonton you olive the thyme.
Donut you carrot all for me at yeast?

You’re one in a melon, sweet sugar pie,
forbidden fruit I find so appeeling.
Cherry on the cake, apple of my eye.
Has there bean love? Don’t berry the feeling.

It’s a big dill and takes two to mango.
I’d sacri-rice all because you compleat me.
You oat to love me. Peas, love miso!
Just food for thought. Chew that fat with your tea.

I have so mushroom in my heart for you.
A pizza your heart? Say yes, honey - DEW!

Indulgence

Sweet the taste of honeyed lips
Upon my own, now drenched in bliss
Nectar tempting, beckoning with
Passion's most consuming kiss

Outpouring tenderness so softly
Though hearts are heavy, they alight
Engulf each thought of rationale
As we succumb to this delight

Outside nothing else exists
While this rare moment we prolong
Ceasing fight and argument, now
We give in to the siren song

The melody we play entrances
As would hypnotic pendulum
Heart strings strum forbidden dances
As it beats a savage drum

Leading up to its crescendo
The rhythm pounds erratically
Pulsing, raging, beats the tempo
Until we find our ecstasy

Blood Moon

Raven orchids drape the night,
fraying in the high petals
of swooning fronds.
I sit beneath a daffodil porch light,
a blood moon blushing tangerine
in a field of white alyssum
as I smell the nascent lilt
of a voodoo rose.
The giggling breeze
that flirted with my lashes
suddenly becomes a gust,
stinging my eyes.
Voodoo thorns rip my shirt
in a netherworld of absent flesh
as silhouettes of unbridled marigolds
woo their willing beds.
In my daffodil haze
I lift black narcissus
in an absent glass
to toast forbidden love,
the feral moon and I
beneath the breathless echo
of wild star light.

Shadow Lovers

Could it be love when shadows overlap
Their beings blending, doubling to dark
Embracing tiled or terra cotta floor
Sliding silently as silhouettes of shame
Clinging to the still forbidden touch
Relishing the fevered heat of light
Cast upon this desperate aching need
To meld - a two so lonely - into one

The Love Affair

That sultry night

Heavenly Hot He came

Endearing and Exciting

Like a summer scented waft

Oceanic eyes all over me,

Vulnerable and virtuous to his kiss

Enchanted by the moment's bliss

All I am I gave to him,

Forbidden fantasies He fulfilled.

Face to face We bid adieu

Away He sailed in distant waves

Iridescent shadows of his smile

Reminisce memories of last embrace.

Unknowing Hearts

Wrapped in the passion of the moment
engulfed in a cascade of a emotion
carried by a gushing torrent of desire
dancing on the rapids of uncertainty
 two unknowing hearts intertwined
in the rapture of blinding passion
 rush toward forbidden waters.

In the midst of love's blissful chaos
 will two unknowing hearts whirl
 perilously over confusion's cliff
 and plunge helplessly toward
the jagged rocks of ill-fated love,
 or will two unknowing hearts
 be found desperately clinging
to the last branch of innocents?

Activity #28

"Such beauty"
"Such grace"
"Such wonder"
"Such waste"

That is what they said to me
As she climbed the forbidden tree

Some said she'd make it
Some said she'd fall
Some tongues stood still
As she climbed through it all

When she reached the top at last
She found the magic had just past

She climbed down
Without a fight
As people left
Saying they were right

As the leaves began to stir
I stayed there, waiting for her

As people fled
Leaving just us
She came to me
Saying, "It's not lust."

To prove her love, she climbed the tree
So now I know that she loves me

The Forgotten

The Forgotten

Silhouetted shadows that grasp the ground
That will never be seen and never be found
Within the walls of the lost and hidden
Behind the tears of loves forbidden

Sheltered silences that mask behind
Broken hearts of the eternal mind
Surfacing solitudes that tumble in time
Discarded dreams that build the blind

For the Angels sleep and cries unheard
A shadow screams a wounded word
For I am here but can not be seen
A melting memory in a decaying dream.

I Touch Your Existence

I wish
With every beat of my heart
I could hear you whisper
My desires are your desires
Your dreams sing to my every wish
The sweet dew of honey
That flows between our souls
The softness of your touch
The fears of your dreams
I can be your forbidden fruit
Let me hold you
In the bond of eternity
Let me be your final breath
As your love is my only hope
That love exists at all

Forbidden Love

A love so forbidden, a feeling so tangible yet tainted. Tainted because if the complexity of this charismatic feeling, the flesh of my flesh, yet I crave this man as if it were predestined. I’ve seen him in my dreams; he was sent to me, and I him. How can this be? Is it lust, curiosity, or is it the forbidden fruit? Every day, I look into your eyes and see the man that I long for, the man I crave, the man I want the others to be.

Between Happiness and Sadness

Between happiness and sadness
 —silence; an angel prays:

I kiss the loneliness of old people,
their temples like handfuls of winter;
their hearts
are used baggage,
waiting;
memories speak to them,
they smile and
tell me stories from their youth
—sadness falls;
silence passes unspoken
—they remember the dead.

I kiss the loneliness from their temples
and sadness lifts from their mouths.

One Last Forbidden Kiss

Church bells were heard nearby

As minarets tall, made prayer calls

When they stood on war torn bridge

Parting with one last forbidden kiss.

Sirens of war were loud too,

But bombs much louder, blasted inferno.

Bridge collapsed, bodies shattered,

No voice dared to claim the silence.

I'Ll B3e Loving You

I'LL BE LOVING YOU
I'll never say the words, that free me from
 the shackles of forbidden love
the words that come so easily for some
the words we all dream of.

and so I have to tell you, in my way
 in everything I ever do
to let you know what I can never say
 as now, I'm telling you.

I know you know, and this, it pleases me,
and helps to ease the pain a bit,
of knowing love that can not ever be
though I will not get over it.

I'll have to leave, to get my bearings straight,
and go to where I'm going to,
but always wonder why love came too late
and why it brought me loving you.

Eternal Light

With peace and love
I kneel a lamb
possessed by the wolf
within my own darkness howls

A son of the Father
Bowing the head to his mercy
Grace in shame a sinner weeps
who bit from the forbidden fruit

Knowing it's agony
in the garden of life's sufferings
Seeking his forgiveness
Oh Most Holy Lord

Always you dwell God most high
Almighty inside the heart
Light of Our Creator
there is no good inside

Dark nights of a soul's pain
tears of remembrance
As you sit with me alone
I grow stronger in faith

Forbidden

These events,
Gentle cataclysms,
Sweet, soft earthquakes,
Spasm on wet sand
And smoky panes
With tremors;
Seismic finger paintings
In dust and condensation,
Illicit pictures,
Despairing wordplay.

When you are gone
I will mourn
As if death
Has claimed you,
Packed you in a box
In the ground;
The earth around
My heart
Weighs dense and heavy,
Compacting forbidden love
In worms and clay.

I will hide everything,
Concealing truth
Under layers of
The mundane,
Smiling, nodding to dialogues
Unheard and unprocessed;
Through soil strata
Will beat and bleed silence
Of a forbidden love
Living forever,
Denied breath.

The Dragon Queen

She told the dragons where to fly and which men should helplessly die She is the dragon queen the ruler of flying beasts she is so mean but her lips are all so sweet Her kingdom was vast and it covered far from the corner of the oceans to the nearest star But could she love a mortal man her destiny was to be tried by her number one fan Together they would dance at the dragons feet and their love would prosper in sweltering heat But the man would bite the forbidden fruit and he would die so softly as he seek the truth
