It Is Springtime In Heaven

It is now springtime in heaven Sky is so blue...sun shining so bright Beautiful flowers are everywhere Angels are dancing...as the harps play Here on earth...we scamper around Sky is so blue...sun shining so bright Beautiful flowers are everywhere We are missing the angels in heaven Angels are dancing...as the harps play They await the day...as we do also As once again we will all be together Our mothers and us...in heaven above Dedicated to: Our Mothers in Heaven and her children who will be missing her this weekend on Mother's Day To all of you who still have your mother here on earth with you make sure she knows how much you love her.

The Sea-Man's Return

Swept away
the last colour
of sunset,
Ocean in his eyes,
winds and waves
the sea-man loved.

Forever gone
the late-song
of night birds,
crushed corals,
sand and rocks
the sea-man loved.

Blown afar
the harvest seeds,
Flowers in his heart,
Petals in bloom,
Pale-pink blossoms
the sea-man loved.

Found and lost
the light of stars,
Alone He sailed
through narrow paths,
to mountain'shadows
the sea-man loved.

In hope to smell
the scent of her hair,
In hope to wipe
rain off her lips,
In hope to taste
her roasting- chestnuts,

to mend regrets
with just one kiss.

Flowers of the Heart

The garden of love bids tending
so often it pains us to render its due
when drought offers threat
and water is scarce
and lovers forget what it means to be true

Yet love, like a garden, rewards us
the flowers of the heart are worth all the pain
how else can we reap
that beautiful yield
with little to lose and with so much to gain

When I think of where we first started
with just the horizon to capture our view
my eyes now behold
what a garden can be
with effort and love to carry it through

Sun Dance

~Sun Dancing~

Bright yellow sparks glisten around the landscape
Sheer environment expose
Warmth slinks down every step
So-- Invigorating
Spur-like rays muster in long light
The wolves wait to howl
Soon--Bunch of flowers
Huddle in with sunlit love
Luminous rave

Dandelion Dream

-Dandelion Dream-

I stand close with a fistful of flowers
My tiny bouquet made of dandelion dreams
They fade with one gush from the wind
I stand close with a fistful of flowers
Holding on tight to jagged leaves
Sprinkles of sand fall over my needs
I stand close with a fistful of flowers
My tiny bouquet made of dandelion dreams

Lemon Trees

I know the land where the lemon-trees flower.
My love met me near them, to linger an hour.
I kissed him, I hugged him and smelled the sweet scent,
And prayed it stayed with him, wherever he went.
The day was so perfect, the skies were so blue.
The fragrance entrancing and love was so new.
He broke off a blossom and gave it to me,
And promised his love for an eternity.
My friends were so happy to plan bridal showers
And my wedding bouquet was of lemon-tree flowers.

Thy Silent Thoughts

Thy Silent Thoughts

So beautiful are thy silent thoughts
I would watch thine eyes all day.
There is wonder in them, as the sun's first flash
Through tumult of ocean spray;
In them the shining calm of upland pools
Mirrors the glory round,
And their shadows are the shadows of sweet flowers
Upon the summer ground.
So beautiful are thy silent thoughts
I would watch thine eyes all day;
More beauteous in their silence than the stars,
Than the silent stars, are they.

Martha's Poem

I will love you like tomorrow Like the days that come to me Like the warmth of summer sunshine Like a wind that blows me free To hear the song of nightingales Beneath a crescent moon To share each simple pleasure On a rainy afternoon In the silence of a morning Deep within a restless sea Walking through the darkness And with everything in me For every precious moment That lives in effigy Love will grow within my soul To reach eternity And when we gather moonbeams After twilight steals the hours, Sleep with me through endless days Among a sea of midnight flowers.

Pretty Dragonfly Spreads Love

In a gorgeous meadow chock full of butterflies and daylilies there lived a
sassy happy beautiful dragonfly. She was loved by the tulips, roses, and coneflowers. The monarchs revered her, seeing the joy she brought to the meadow. This little dragonfly did her best to fit in, nurturing each aspect of the meadow as was her right.

		           pretty dragonfly
                 spreading love to the flowers
                          expecting nothing

Just Your Face

Futile is the sun to a heart in awe
And trivial is the moon's cosmic fame

All these voices are nothing but noises
These Flowers are like invisible stars

For what's it that the universe contains
Nothing... but your face to keep me sane

Only your voice brings exceptional joy
Only your lovely smile can make me fly

The Color Palette of the World Has Changed

The color palette of the world has changed.
Wispy painters brush clouds line a clear calm sky.
The day is dry and cold, powdery snow starts to fall.
Flowers have ceased budding and spilling over in the garden;
yet the passion, fragrant, rosebud cherry and amber
honeysuckle vine, twines round the wooden arbor,
inviting the few scarce bees to come to its nectar.
Forbearance wooden starlings and mourning doves
move on with their singing and coo-OO-oo throughout the day.
Warm breath onto the cold window, a traced note of love.

For Only a Moment

Did it have to last for only a moment,
our love withered before the flowers you sent,
white carnations, a pure love they meant,
a relationship so newfound and innocent.

Our love withered before the flowers you sent,
your early departure I could not prevent,
a relationship so newfound and innocent,
a memory lingers on like a sweet scent.

Your early departure I could not prevent,
white carnations, a pure love they meant,
a memory lingers on like a sweet scent,
did it have to last for only a moment.

- the Summer Strength and Beauty -

The birds in the garden singing their songs

They tell their story with the heart of summer

A place of silence and aromatic flowers

Where hearts dance of happiness, passion and love

This sweet moment, with blue lilies growing in edge of the road

I can not find reality more beautiful anywhere else

It is a thought of escape from the world of realities

Where my heart is resting and nothing can disturb

Flowers In the Soup

I stir very gently my special soup
Stirring in more love just for you
Sweet and spicy aroma so uplifting
Sprinkling in some sunshine now
My soup has blossomed with faces
Friends who mean so much to me
Always there to help when needed
You are and always will be to me

Wooing the Artist With Flowers

Words are merely thoughts to keep flowers company;

Pictures you can hang in your hall.

But the faces of these blossoms,

Slightly jealous of your smile,

See well past the obstacles you have stored there.

There is tenderness in their contemplation of the grayness in your eyes.

And they mutter amidst the clutter,

'tis not the speed that makes the journey, but the direction that you choose’.

Whilst welcoming the warmth from your hands as you arrange them.

Repose

Alone
Under stone
The road ends here
Grave of bones

I reached out to caress
The past, and her sweet heart so blessed
Tears water down flowers, that one day shall wilt
For even they, gave up on loves bloom

I have been devoid of heart long ago
Dead to the living
Living for the dead
Love does that, so do not dread

She, who stole the essence of me,
Where ever she shall be buried
My bones may lie over yonder
My heart lies heavy, with the phantom of she

The past burying all, to the one and last
Says I
Alone under grey washed gravestone
At long last

Winter (Do Not Forget Among the Loss of Flowers) Me

winter
do not forget among the loss of flowers
me
beneath your death of snow

do not forget that bird of sun
the trees gave down there bending branches
to light the grass where love made little flowers

do not forget my love
the lights most fragile gift the sky
bowed low to give a blushing praise
to the joyful dance of star and moon

do not forget the nesting hope of spring
the freed sparrow of your fingers
the silence more deep then words

remember me in the summerless field
the slender moment bereft of rain
before life and you became

Sundown In Paradise

My blessing basket is heavy with heaven's gifts,
Tomatoes the size of my fist, eggplants so cute,
And fresh heirloom beans bursting with pride.

The sun, orange on the horizon, frames a pair of
Snowy Egrets above, wings folded in glide descent,
Angling towards their roost.

A solitary Cricket, at home in the cabbage patch,
seesaws a hypnotic greeting, then hushes
As I pass.

A Monarch Butterfly wisps past my head, enjoying
Nectar from scattered flowers. The scent of herbs,
Blossoms and love settles softly in my heart.

I know life can be hard, but this moment, just
This moment, I'm filled with such Grace from
God I only stand in humble gratitude.

Persian Haiku 2

Persian Haiku 2

What a gorgeous view!
You and the flower garden,
I'm the butterfly.

Your eyes, the ocean;
The ocean colors your eyes.
Your hair is the wave.

Moon on the ocean,
Your face is the reflection.
Always be alone.

I live with my heart,
All flowers are beautiful,
I love daffodils.

What a discussion,
I had with all my flowers.
Their breath smells nice.

To Never Cry

The mist from love found drifting in its realm.
Lifts only when the sun begins to rise,
And clears away the mist, to overwhelm,
In elegant colors it will revive.
To still the heart, to dwell in paradise,
And bathe in splayed soft light two lover's form,
With lover's wings so gentle they entice,
To merge with kisses soft, tender and warm.
Love's a heart that welcomes with consent.
Between the flowers fresh with morning dew,
And purifies the garden with sweetest scent.
They welcome sun's cascading light that's new.

How true the love that's born beneath the sky.
To love the purest heart and never cry.

Spring Time

Showers fall and robins call.
Buds grow on the trees.
Meadows green; long grasses lean
warmed by April’s breeze.

Flowers beam and streamlets gleam
on each mountain slope.
Colors sing and everything
blossoms love and hope.

Love Is the Force

Tender touch gently soothes an ailing soul
Wordless discourse greets eyes of love
A mother's hug comforts her child's ego
Love is the force that makes the world go

Kinder hearts ache sensing others' pain
A prayer mightily calls for suffering to end
Flowers of goodwill shed feelings of woe
Love is the force that makes the world go

Words of care resonate in any language
Noble deeds of strangers justly amaze
A message of peace triumphantly echos
Love is the force that makes the world go

Love received, gives, and regenerates
It multiplies, compounds, and propagates
Love is the force that elevates the world

Can Still Hold You

In this closet darkness pervades, the door has been locked from the inside. Curled in the corner, eyes shut, she remains. Unseen demons there await outside in the moon light. Flowers dance while sweet music plays as lithesome images pass through her mind, her dreams laid bare this long lonely day, all of the fantasies she'll never find. Beneath closed eyelids her golden prince rescues her from endless darkness. I have no golden armor, yet my arms can still hold you.
