But it is the moon on opal skies
That seduces your dream of dreams,
Proffering aura of esoteric smile
In covert hints of amorous night,
Lauding quest of allure romantic;
Hypnotizing your zealous soul
Ecstatic in my infatuating words
From song of heart rousing passion,
Crooning tender tunes of love
Tiptoeing to become your world.

Under the ship’s sides the barnacles still cling -
I would have thought you’d never sell our song
But true to typecast, summer mothering -
You, too, proved to be full of guile
To love meant having, which ever was the worst -
In the quiet of my trust, so deep, so fragile
I live down the purple passage of remorse.
I’d sing you happy but you were buffoon

Life changing and captivating,
Staring in amazement,
My eyes fixed,
Vacantly transported,
Into different realms,
Scented levels of ecstasy,
Floating on clouds of petals,

Rhapsodies in paradise,
Spoken waves of love,
Excitement and euphoria,
Came knocking that day,
I was drawn by color
Pursued by fragrance,
