Look in your eyes unveils a smoldering ember that could make Gibraltar crumble.
One in a million heart that magically kindles fire without matches. Nothing...
Ventured, nothing gained in this rewarding game of love; a four letter word that
Emanates such sweet ecstasy. And no, I don't mean the drug
I
Just
Enjoy

dark, drug,
I am the mind disturbed that thinks it’s well
euphoria surfs, dysphoric swells
perfect storm before the cresting wave
felled the confidence of the brave
I am the liar that catfished hope
Stole from a random heart that couldn’t cope
Love leaps, faith jumps, joy follows
Suicide upon the maddened rocks below
I am all the tears that fell
Abide in the hidden depths of sorrows well
I am the fire that burns up all your dreams
Dying light of fallen stars and moonbeams

Night's descent with heaven's catharsis
Of white cold's drug for the dark;
Even whirls of flaking bits loveliness—
Winter's fresh, ice only shower.
Of white cold's drug for the dark—
Just right for the meek moon's glow,
Winter's fresh, ice only shower
On sleeping hyacinths underground.
Just right for the meek moon's glow,
Even whirls of flaking bits loveliness
On sleeping hyacinths underground—
Night's descent with heaven's catharsis.

faith
Life is a journey
traveled by many
the loads we carry
some leave us weary
The dreams in my heart
I will not bury
Failure can depart
we will not marry
love is not fairy
It is the drug I sniff
craved for by many
It lets me climb the cliffs
If you forgot
I am for God
To fail, I shall not
I Applause the Lord

addiction, drug,
Addiction was her puppeteer
It pulled her every string
Drugs became the master of her fears
Depression was all it would bring
Some become puppets of greed
Pimping out their very souls
More, and more, and more they need
Satisfaction is never their goal
Envy is also a puppet master
Making us want what others possess
Pulling the strings of jealousy faster
And leaving us a sorry mess
Perhaps we, are just puppets of love
As our strings are pulled from above

Love is a sugar cookie,
Sweet and delightful
Love is a pillow,
Soft and fuzzy
Love is the internet,
It never ends
Love is a tree,
It keeps growing
Love is a knife,
It can tear you apart
Love is a drug,
It can be addictive
Love is…… Life

addiction, drug,
How deep this shallow vision lies
that holds a truth my grasp can't reach
will never last, too quickly dies
in veiled perception too vague to seek.
In colors daylight will never know
this euphoric dream can't come to fast
away reality, too harsh to show
those lost reflections of the past.
From darkened weakness a light is lost
of choices made, conceived in fear
but one is left to pay the cost
of songs of love I did not hear.
Will hope replace despair?
Is anyone left to care?

mother, mother, mother, drug,
Long-stemmed Promises
sweet babies
need sleep, sustenance and love.
Sounds easy enough.
Ask the sleepless mother
who feels the diaper rash more
than the infant.
Ask the mother whose child
is the bully or the bullied or
the social outcast.
Ask the mother of the child
Hooked on drink and drugs,
the troubled ones.
Ask the mother of the adult
child growing her own
long-stemmed promises.

addiction, cry, drug, how i feel, sad,
I don't mean to be someone I'm not.
I'd love to be clean
But my spirit just rots,
I've quit before
That's the easy part.
Then the addict inside
Takes over my body
And takes over my brain,
Constantly there
To keep me insane.
Brenda's gone
And what you see,
Is that perfect person
I pretend to be.
The dope has my body
And has my soul,
I have my paper
And I have my pen.
When I write
I'm Brenda again.
But then ...
I read what I wrote
And I cry,
Because my words yell and scream
For the addict inside
To die.

love, heart, voice, heart, love, me, voice,
i hear your voice and i start to shiver
form my lung to my heart down to my liver
i hear your voice and i grow strong
my love for you is forever this feeling cant be wrong
for you id give up all my demon ways
your love is a drug and im in a daze
my darling i count the day till we meet
and when im with you my heart skips a beat
i long just to feel your breath on the side of my face
and when im with you i feel like im in space
you are my world and all that is inside
and when you leave me i feel like ive died
and so its starts over i count the days till we meet
you are my center you make me complete

culture, drug, how i feel, pollution, society,
I came from a place of bean pots and tea pots
I love my trusty three-decade old crock pot
One holer, two holer, three holer, four
Another kind of pot, if your keeping score
Clay pots and tin pots not related to pot shots
Pot belly stoves found in old country stores
Soup pots, flower pots and pot holes galore
Cast iron, copper, stainless and Teflon
All make great pots and I could go on
Now there’s another pot staining our land
The stench of it all my nose can’t stand
It’s worse than a poop pot and I’m not a fan

love,
Hope and despair are partners,
try and figure it out,
passion in an endangered soul
that chose to give me no name.
Perhaps she needs none, who knows?
For she brought chaos to my heart,
upset my strictly precise ways.
Stars falter at her glacial glance
and the sun hides its shine in shame.
Yet I cannot bear to be
without her luscious intoxication,
like a delirious drug-addicted creature,
that knows he'll never survive, for
to be with her is a lingering death,
to be without her is eternal hell.

lost love, drug,
Clam on me had closed her two arms
Captivating me and my many charms
Then the next thing that I did know
Drug me under and never let go.
Bone by bone they went asleep
I did end up in the ocean deep
When people down have went
What they see now is a monument.

And kindles a flame of desire
Feelings blaze up as it starts
As you feel the warmth of love's fire
There is a song in heartbeats chime
As this melody you embrace
Compose a poem of lovely rhymes
With words of beauty and grace
Love's drug is a natural high
Making you float on cloud nine
And you'll soar in an endless sky
With feelings you find so divine
A beautiful gift from above

Enchantment
Love is not the opposite of hate
that fiery passion
which turns against our heart
like a python through the blood
constricting life
love is what we yearn for
to create delicious selves
the flavouring in our lives
it is a thief that creeps upon us
or steals us from the start
of all the humours
love believes itself supreme
the drug we cannot do without
we are joyful in its midst
or a victim of its curse.

lost love, sad, drug,
Try her once try her twice
you'll be hooked don't be surprised
She's got you now to have and to hold
till death do you part
she won't let go
She gave you that rush
you wanted so much
In return she gave you not much
Snort her
smoke her
shoot her up it's all the same
she makes you insane
She's playing our family like a game
for destruction is the name of her game
Love is lost she won the toss
She took your heart and soul
tossed it in your bowl
She gives you days of sleepness night
hearing voices in the night
Dealing drugs
meeting seekers
Now your the true tweaker
She's got me pleading and grieving
for you to give up needing
Inside i'm crying
for fear of you dying
