Confused 2

I once knew a poet named Janice.
To her nothing's more puzzling than this:
			Some Soupers say "Great"
		 	or "Love it"--then rate
my poem a "1." Bliss with diss!

Blow Me a Kiss

Blow me a kiss,
One that I'll receive.
One I'll never miss,
One that'll never leave.
Blow me a kiss,
One I won't forget.
One I can't miss.
No, not just yet.
Blow me a kiss,
Something real.
One that's not a diss,
But how you feel.
Blow me a kiss,
Showing me your feelings grew.
Just one I'll never miss,
Cuz' It came especially from you.

Is It Because

Tell me why you diss me,
Don't say it's because I'm black.
Why you make those snide remarks,
While hiding behind my back.

I'm just like you,
In many a way.
I go to work,
I earn my pay.

I love my children,
I love my wife.
I work real hard,
To build a good life.

So tell me why you diss me,
Don't say it's because I'm black.
Please don't make those snide remarks,
While hiding behind my back.

Why don't you just come over,
Say hello to me.
Then you might realise,
What good friends we could be.

Just Like Alcohol

More pathetic than ever
More pathetic I can't sever
The life a single bloke
The love to become broke

The first miss
The first kiss
the first trial diss
All leading to an end
Only for another send

Friends come and go
Others stay for the show
Nothing matters in the end
So their stories they end

There will always be more
or there are stories of bore

Pick and poison then hope it hits
Because love is like alcohol
So grab a bottle
and get drunk

This Boy I Miss

Verse 1

His lips
Passion bliss
Wanna kiss
Not hiss
Nor diss

With This boy I Miss
With This boy I Miss

Verse 2

Saultry eyes
Shapely thighs
Makes me high
I'm going to fly
And try

With This Boy I Miss
With This Boy I Miss

Verse 3

Hot passions
Smooth fashions
Foods Rations
I'm Stashing
Not Cashing

With This Boy I Miss

I Really Like Her

Her smile and personality just builds within
but unlike my heart i dont know where to begin.
I wrote her poems and told her things.
I made her smile like no other human being.
Her curly hair and intelligence
made my heart so irrelevant
to the point in which i sat and cried
and sung some lovely lullabies.

Her beauty started our world
with a few men and alot of girls.
I want to scream her name right now
and if i do i will say it loud.
Please believe that i got diss
that girl who talks just wants a kiss
but in the end i will always miss you.

Double Negatives Squared

you can't diss me if i don't think i'm dissable...
you can't shun me if i don't think i'm shunnable...
you can't yank my chain if i don't think i'm yankable...

and...

you can't love me if i don't think i'm lovable.

The End

Take My Breath Away

You take my breath away!
I have never felt that way,
Just from a kiss.
I do have to admit,
That surely you are missed.
I never want to diss you,
Hope you feel the same about me.
I know we both
Are on the same plane.
At times it is hard,
To contain the feelings,
That came so quick!
I do not try to
Figure out the meanings.
Because we still have so much
To know about each other,
And how one another ticks.

Time Is Up

You had your chance to be mine. You wasted the chance. You ran out of time. Now you're
sitting back regretting that, you made the decision to diss me. Jealousy. As he becomes
something you desire to be. Too late for sorry, too late for what if's. Too late to call
me to try and reminisce. Should of taken advantage of the opportunities I gave you. Deep
down you knew I'd always be true. Yet you compared me to, the ones who truly hurt you. And
now I'm through. Moved on with another. Your time is up. We cannot go further....

Approachable

Men often find me very approachable.
Is it the way I talk, the way I walk, or the swagger of my hips?
Some day’s they diss me and other day’s they want to kiss my lips.
But I tell you one thing I’m a beautiful black women and I won’t have it.
I was raised in a strong house hold with many morals.
Maybe they all better think twice before they approach.
I have a slick tongue and a strong mind.
They can search for years but a real woman they’ll never find.
I’m a rare breed and one of a kind.

I Miss You

I miss your face,
I miss your touch.
I miss your presence,
I miss you so much.
I miss those arms,
I miss your hugs.
I miss your charm,
I miss your love.
For so long,
Because you didn't listen.
Now you're gone,
Laying in prison.
I'm shedding these tears,
 Because I'm missing you.
Dame, a whole year,
Without even kissing you.
The way I feel,
I feel so desperate.
I can't stay still,
I just can't help it.
Yeah, you call,
And write me letters.
But not at alll,
Do I feel better.
What do you think,
You want me to do,
Just sit here and drink,
Waiting for you.
I 'm not trying to cry,
I 'm not trying to diss you.
I can't even lie,
 I'm really miss you.

The Day We Saw Each Other

It was a Friday night at the Football game.
We were eying each other like who was the blame.
In my mind I wanted to call your name, but I didn't think things would of been the same.
I wanted to stop and talk, but I didn't want you to feel starked.
I wanted to be with you for the night, but things just wasn't right.
Even though I wanted to diss you, I really do miss, and I gotta admitt I wanted to kiss you.
Until the day when you are all mine, everything will be just fine.
You'll always be my boo and I'll be yours too.

Counter Intuition

We feel close to breaking when loved ones get sick,
If they die, OMG, let me out of here quick,
You can feel things you wish you'd done, pushing you down!
And to laugh is impossible, "up" is a frown!
Sad! For even a pet's loss can lead you to 'diss'
What you (yesterday) felt was the heart of your bliss!

Emotion's a sword's edge that rests on a thread,
With those days we all feel we'd be better off dead!
But the sun still will rise (on those days we feel glum,)
It seems happiness' path is just being a chum,
To a friend whose emotions have taken worse fall,
And we learn to serve others means love for us all!
