Pardon From the Storm

Take my heart and carry me to where all dreams are born. Into loves arms, oh such a place that's always safe and warm. Away from such deceitful lairs where blackened virtues swarm. into a light where peace must shine and grants us pardon from a storm. High above the mountain tops or low as low can be. Makes no difference where we are a wondrous lyric calls to me. Singing of your splendor like a miracle performed. I'll stay with you to find the port that grants us pardon from a storm. Entertainer-Anacreontic Couplets

Charmed by her exotic glance She enchants a sexy dance In costumed display of art Strumming rhythms of joyful heart Choreographing slow grooves In graceful, musical moves As gestures paint passion themes And song of love stokes their dreams When desires-enamored spree Hypnotized in tunes of glee But look closely, watch her sigh Hear the bawl of tearless cry When crowds deceitful extol Exhibit of anguished soul As smiles aesthetic hide pain And feigned visage cries disdain Cheer for her to turn the page For she longs to leave this cage Leave realms inebriated Of drunk notions, ill-fated

Never Love Again

Sometimes I wonder if love is truth
The error of my ways in my youth
The price of love is too steep a toll
You give your heart. They take your soul
They say when love is on the wing
You can hear the bluebirds sing
Love can take away your breath
But then again, so can death
I’ll never answer love’s deceitful call
They build you up to watch you fall
Letter’s written with poisoned pen
I will never love again
On our knees for love we plead
Love arrives to watch us bleed
Nothing grows without the rain
The cost of love is undying pain
Trapped inside this lion’s den
I will never love again.

The end of the path, she’s there
Looking truly deceitful
Bright is the moon over her
Trying to show love

Love's Betrayal

For to love is a curse,
And to be enamoured, an hell
For it is better to have thine heart trodden over by chariots,
Than to be entranced by LOVE's deceitful spell.
For no matter how I yearn and try to make it last,
LOVE [always] twists and turns and escapes from my grasp...

True Love

The sky looks blue and alluring
The lovers look tired but enduring
Clinging to love which has waned and disappearing
As memories of yesterday kept on interfering

Love looked so real and true
Filled every night with warmth untrue
Made them believe in peaceful bliss
Which did not go beyond the deceitful kiss

Human love so weak and ephemeral
Comes with intensity so ethereal
But crumbles as fast under a weak foundation
Cause it has a beginning and an end

God's love is ever enduring
Neither beginning nor ending
Love so pure and caring
Demonstrated on the cross in a manner so glaring.

I Love You But I Don'T Know Why

I love you but I don’t know why.
I love your lips which seem too thin
for a kind person, your grey-green
deceitful eyes which are too dry
and too unmerciful to cry
for broken hearts. I love your skin
which chilly whiteness is akin
to fallen snow in hot July.

I love your blush when I begin
to talk of the engagement ring
which I allegedly have bought.

I love you but I don’t know why
I love. The only thing that I
don't love is that you love me not.

A Lovely Gem That Turned From Darkest Coal

XCIII

A wretched bond which all my life had borne
My sin I love and own, alas owns me
Deceitful heart that love these chains and thorns
Unsacred ties that binds, how may I flee?

Then suddenly at dawn my dungeon breaks
Fresh wounds I see on pierced hands stretched down
From darkness he my poor, dead soul did take
That from my temples fell sin’s hollow crown.

Down deep within the chambers of my soul
From my disgraceful state, a prize he found
Like lovely gem that turned from darkest coal
A true desire to praise with sweetest sound

Much rather would I from some good retreat
Till sin is bitter, Christ will not be sweet

Feed Them Peanuts

In this land of rhymes, both wild and rare,
here comes a tale I’ll weave with care.
It’s for those who’ve earned disdainful thoughts,
for actions unkind and deceitful plots.

Feed them peanuts! Oh, hear my words,
then flush them down like pungent turds.
Let’s raise our hands, a sign for all,
and let that birdy stand nice and tall.

Feed them peanuts! A gesture grand,
let’s show them love and where we stand.
On this bunch let’s shed some light,
then with their fluff they can take flight.

Oh, in this land where tales unfold,
the beautiful people write words of gold.
In ivory towers they spin and sit,
then silently enjoy my words of wit.

Walking In Integrity -Psalm 101

Voice aloud a melody to the Lord
of His justice and love to trust
ponder much of His perfect way
walk in integrity heart full ready to burst

Promise never to look at worthlessness
hating works of those that fall
run away from perverseness and folly
to know no evil make you call

Destroy all the secret slanderers
don’t give time to arrogant of heart
look with favour on the faithful
so they dwell with you not just a part

Shut your door on the deceitful
make sure wars will not before you endure
every morning destroy all of the wicked
from God’s city cut off all evil to be sure

(Psalm 101)

Young Girls Pain

Love
Deceitful, wicked
Weeping, cringing, loathing
Things children shouldn’t feel
Hate

Intimacy
Repulsive, severe
Struggling, bleeding, collapsing
My pain continues unheard
Father

Hope
Abandoned, faulty
Hiding, listening, praying
Life is my suffering
Justice

Purpose
Forbidden, fruitless
Reeling, clutching, grinning
The agony has ended
Redemption

My Love

I dwell on my memories about you,
I once loose hope and wake up without you in my heart.
I never thought I would ever admit how precious you are to me,
but little did I know that my soul and yours are mate.

I love your name especially you,
 you are beautiful and deceitful,
I believe you have super powers,
because every time I think about you my heart melt.

Walk Away

When anger hurls departing words, deceitful tactics get employed. And broken hearts split asunder, causing pain they'd hoped to avoid. As forever dreams drift apart, two lovers choose to walk away. And letting doubt push love aside; arguments keep feelings at bay. Anxieties begin to climb; summoning tears to numb their pain. And yet, even when steeped in hurt, bittersweet memories remain. Loneliness longs for feelings felt in the closeness of an embrace. But longings can't revive passion; though Hope keeps trying, just in case.

Deceitful Ecstacy

He teased and kissed my soul on fire
What he left was unsatisfied desire
He left and said he would call soon
But the moon was full
And as we all know
Full moons betray lovers.

He did call but only once
To say good bye
My eyes teared
My gut wrenched
His thirst was quenched
But left me thirsty

He came to me in ecstasy
and I believed he had come for me

Far From Her Desire

My emotions welled up when she took flight
And my mind struggled with visions for years
The sun turned gray and fell into night
When eyes began to cry anguished tears
A hand was placed in the wounds where I bled
Loneliness gave acknowledgement of death
When she walked away and pronounced me dead
This lover strangled my love 'till last breath
A cold grave was dug by deceitful hands
As she buried me far from her desire
No past nor memory her mind demands
To leave me lonely wearing death's attire

She stole my innocence, tore it apart
Then took my love and left a broken heart

The Vipress

My scales are stars gleaming in the water.
My body is the river you cannot cross.
I am massive. I am the moon.
I will not shrink or shirk
away the love you made me fearful of.

I shed this skin you once peppered with adoration.
I’m perhaps larger, but more beautiful,
more powerful than before.
I am without you.

I am not fashioned of your rib, no, it’s
parthenogenesis; I birthed my own self.
I never needed you
or the silver words of deceitful lips.
I am the decider of destiny.
I am not afraid. I’m oiled with venom of my own.
I am God. I rule this life and you
cannot take my garden away from me.

True Strength

The wicked lay trembling in the presence of her mighty roar . In the midst of the wicks crafty , deceitful ways it is laid to waste by her mighty discernment in their haste . The mighty men of injustices brought down by the meek , humble . For those who love , desire her . She guards diligently like a mighty lioness . She isn't a thing you can place a price tag on for she enhances , enriches the poor . In all the riches in the world there is no higher than above wisdom herself .

Life's Challenges

I am Amanda sullivan

who needs peace and creativity,

who loves her son unconditionally,

who sees failure, but also positivity and gain,

who hates bullying, and deceitful relationships,

who fears a life alone, devoid of love and friendship,

who dreams of wealth, happiness, and a life by the sea.

Silver Tongue

Love was a pretext for lust; and once again, I was fooled. And as you betrayed my trust, love's smoldering embers cooled. Flattery blinded my eyes; obscuring your true intent. And imaginative lies quickly quelled my discontent. Unconcerned about my fate, you hijacked my hopes and dreams. And by dangling love as bait; took my feelings to extremes. Love sounds like a fairytale when spun by a silver tongue. Yet, it's a deceitful tale; to trick the gullible young.

Nine Inch Nails, Brain Pain

Nine Inch Nails, Brain Pain

Nine Inch Nails Driven In My Brain

I stopped waiting on earthen fruit,
guns to fire but I can not shoot.
Nine inch nails driven into my brain,
snails crawling in thick bloody rain.

I stopped asking for sweetened lies,
 sickness baked within hollow pies.
Cuts embraced to feel the sweet pain,
stick in deep, let red be the stain.

I stopped begging for more misery,
you that laughed at my mercy plea.
Seven inch blades twisted to bleed,
answers never given when I plead.

I stopped begging so very damn long ago.
You that lie to feed your deceitful show!

Youth

There, waiting in secret for thy angelic cue,
Thy age hath come and that day hath gone
Letting dusk paint the world in a different view
Beautiful tones, envied by all but one.
For that one is held close to thy core
As the earth clutches the velvet sky which intern hugs the moon
Leaving no hate, nor lust nor any form of metallic door
To faulter those whom over you shall swoon.
And yet, even at this adoring age
Thy sparkling aura art so pronounced and so glamorous
Making frontline guardians forget their deceitful rage
Replacing vengeful thoughts with ones more amorous
Creating playground stories of kiss and tell
Stealing subtle glances and honest hearts as well.

Love Dies

Heartbroken I try not to cry

From cruel deception you have shown

Do not attempt to justify

My love for you at last has flown

As reports from true friends to me were sent

In female company you did perform

Illicit evidence now proves involvement

Removing wedding ring you did me harm

In flaunting single status so blatantly

Bodes marriage breakdown so evidently

No point to attempt any recompense

As your deceitful ways on me did hone

Realising it does make wise sense

For peace of mind, to be on my own.

Forgiveness

Forgive me, now that love is gone
And that long years obscure the sun!
When mem’ries fill my eyes, I see
That our short time is nearly done.

For long, I claimed to understand
What precious stone lay in my hand,
But now I’m all alone and sigh
As waves of sadness kiss the sand.

Deceitful Time shall close your eyes
While whispering his clever lies,
And I will stay behind and weep
Until his will my own defies.

Bruised

Bruised angered heart
languidly torn apart
ripped inside out
through trouble and doubt
why do you love so much
when all you know is betrayal's deceitful touch
is it because to stop beating
means turning back and retreating
from another day without a lover's crutch

Love Is

Love is insatiable, it is imperious.
Love is unchangeable, it is poisonous.
Love is beckoning, and it disregards.
Love is questioning, and it mars.
Love is strenuous, it is invaluable.
Love is relentless, it is ever fallible.
Love is deceitful, and it damages.
Love is feasible, and it bandages.
Love is everything, for it is advantage.
Love through anything, for it manages.
Love gets testing, and always imperfect.
Love is contesting, and always worth it.
