Painting Love

How many images can I paint more
than I’ve already done? Like nights moon-lit
or meadow-dancing? You - whom I adore -
in every love scene - you’re the star of it.
The many colors! Oh, each brilliant hue.
I splashed them giddily when we shared bliss.
I’ve given sunsets, snow and spring to you -
Sweet passion’s words for you, Dear, and a kiss
I’ve always left down on the corner of
each canvas in our life, for there’s no me
without you, and there’s nothing but our love
to get us through, and sometimes tragedy
I’ve painted too – deep ocean’s blue – yet still,
I’ll paint you always lovely with my quill.

Body Song

my fingertips
touch ...
tender, but with melodic intent
you tremble
just SO ...
and sigh sweetly
the delightful answer
to my questioning hands
a gentle press ...
your supple curves against me
fitting me like dovetail
your quivers ...
soft-thrumming my flesh
matching your moans
the hushing pulse of your body
urges me on ...
your swan-like neck
satin beneath my hot palm
as it moves lower
pressing ...
deft digits dancing across you
like a wild Spaniard
we are ... one
our purpose, the same
oh, sing to me now
let my passion be your cry
let our lullabies of love and desire
move souls ...
and ache hearts
my beloved ...
guitar.

Glimmers of Love

How long will I love you, often you ask Forever and a day, my love will last Till there’s no blossom or leaves upon trees Or pretty daffodils dancing o’er breeze. Till clouds cease to form patterns in the sky All seas and rivers begin running dry Till all poets have no poetic prose Or night has no beginning, day no close. Till no man or creature walks upon earth Gold or silver has no value or worth Till there are no birds flying on the wing Or voices aren’t heard and no one can sing. Till the day we take our Heavenly place Living for eternity in God’s grace With time to dance among stars up above Darling I send this in glimmers of love.

It Is Springtime In Heaven

It is now springtime in heaven Sky is so blue...sun shining so bright Beautiful flowers are everywhere Angels are dancing...as the harps play Here on earth...we scamper around Sky is so blue...sun shining so bright Beautiful flowers are everywhere We are missing the angels in heaven Angels are dancing...as the harps play They await the day...as we do also As once again we will all be together Our mothers and us...in heaven above Dedicated to: Our Mothers in Heaven and her children who will be missing her this weekend on Mother's Day To all of you who still have your mother here on earth with you make sure she knows how much you love her.

Lucid Dreams

Last night I dreamt that I was dancing in soft foggy mists designed in pearly bows, frolicking from thin fluffy silver waves- blanketing moonlit skies within hour less hills and jasmine fields free flowing through blue bliss lakes, in lucid motions, as seamless ripples reflect a sweet rhapsody of a golden rose sprouting amidst glistening rays, as I name mauve stars with your love

The Poetess

Words flowing like magic, explode off my page
Taking me on journeys, I didn't seek
My mind is just floating, feelings do race
Her spirit is leading, to heaven I think

Reading but living, each chosen word
Caught up in beauty, emotions I trace
My heart is a flutter, tears sometimes fall
In awe of her verses, as much as her grace

Passion and love, I can feel her heartbeat
Sorrow and pain, mistakes made again
Dancing with nature, you take me by hand
Simply you're beautiful, I'm in love with your pen

Spilling of emotions, out onto the page
Poems come alive, for sure they are real
Confide in me please, all that's concealed
My dearest poetess, you make me feel

Dancing Once Again With Words

Dancing once again with words,
As the two of us, embrace--
Another verse, another rhyme
Of waterfalls, and lace.

Romantic words in meter,
Although where's the gentle kiss?
Where's the touch and feel of it,
The tenderness, I miss?

Need I craft another verse, or two,
Of moon and leafy wood?
Should one appear, and touch my heart,
Then possibly I could.

But what would be the good of it,
Shall my words a love renew?
Then a sonnet I would surely pen
With the imagery of you.

And who can say, though distantly,
Perhaps a spark could grow--
Then I would dance, and cheek-to-cheek...
And let my poems go.

The Music of the Wind

Helicopter seeds
from my maple tree
drift down,
swaying
back
and
forth
from the strong branches above.
They all fall around me,
I am encapsulated by the swirling seedlings.
Snug within their warmth,
the wind sends me on my feet.
Dancing with the music of the air
that is rushing through my hair,
I inhale the sweet, mellow essence of what life has granted me.
Then I exhale the words,
"I am thankful for this life and the road, no matter how rocky, has served its purpose".
As I leave this place,
I hum the tune of the masterpiece conducted by the wind
that rustled in this tree.

Sun Dance

~Sun Dancing~

Bright yellow sparks glisten around the landscape
Sheer environment expose
Warmth slinks down every step
So-- Invigorating
Spur-like rays muster in long light
The wolves wait to howl
Soon--Bunch of flowers
Huddle in with sunlit love
Luminous rave

If We Could Dance

Strumming my heartstrings Drawing me in with each note Playing the most beautiful song Hearing the words you wrote Filling in all the gaps The melody is for me Beating loud and clear Setting my heart free Only distance keeping us at bay You still have me in your trance Two hearts apart, beating as one How I wish we could dance A soft kiss upon your delicate hand Holding you close, holding you tight Slow dancing under the moonlit skies The perfect girl, the perfect night

Existence

awkwardly I dance
because I have two left feet
hard to find partner

I watch you dancing
it seems you have two right feet
let us share some shoes

will you follow me
for if we move together
dance will have purpose

you move fluidly
my feet provide the structure
made for each other

no limitations
with artistry and purpose
we dance with the stars

life is not boring
we live within the rhythm
music from heaven

God is our maestro
leading us to forever
in death we won't part

What Is This Dance

What is this dance that we do?
First you spin me; I twirl with delight
Captivated by your attentive gaze
Then you back away as I move toward you

So many times we’ve been on this floor
One step forward, two steps back
Movements that confuse a foolish heart
Often I feel I’m dancing alone

Still I keep dancing to reach you
Each time I draw near, you retreat
And still it seems you want me to stay
For an eternity drawn to a love unrequited

My dancing shoes I place on a shelf
Along with my dreams, pieces of myself
Perplexed by your desire to continue
Pirouetting toward the unknown

Place In My Heart

The scent of fresh baked cookies filling the air Sounds of Andrea Bocelli ringing in my ear There's a pep in my step and a feeling unfamiliar My heart pounding, craving one night, one taste one look, one touch Words dancing off your pages speaking to my soul entwined in romance etched in my heart tying me in knots My heart has been opened welcoming you in No longer vacant it longs for your warmth your kindness your presence your whole Mind blown. heart owned bringing fantasy into reality walking hand in hand to the beat of the band For tonight in the stars it has been written there is a place for you in my heart

Pearl of a Great Price

Dancing with the sunbeams deep sea reflections
so beautiful adoring on cloud nine sitting pretty
upon golden sands shifting salt of the ocean turns

Each wave a blessing in disguise
standing regal one moment in time
looking back captivating starlight was born

Mirrors mist over arched jewels colour radiance
fixing thoughts on an image beholding your word
no diamond ever cut comes close to you

In Loving Memory of You

In memory of you and all the beauty I behold. I will listen to the laughter's and discern which one was yours I would play the music that I know you would wish to hear And dance on the same footsteps wearing your shoes As I float dancing with you just one more time And when we are done, I will hold your hand Pull you towards me one more time And see forever in your eyes And when tomorrow comes And it's my turn to dance again with you, I will flow you to the Milky Way Where all the stars will look upon us With coruscation envy 6/29/2020

I But Have Today To Know I Exist

Because I do not know of my tomorrow
Yesterday is gone I've forgotten it
I but have today to know I exist
I resist letting my today be wasted on drama
I am out sipping on sunshine
Gliding on life
Dancing in the rain while drinking rain drops
Have my fill on ice cream till I'm well content
Smile because I just love life
Love every unloved one
Give and share
because it makes me feel absolutely wonderful

And when night comes I'm up eating chocolates
while writing poems of my life's adventure

    Smile

Snowflakes

Dancing with the moonlight
there's a glisten to the air
fluffy flakes of goodness
filter here and there

a soft and peaceful feeling
your hand touches mine
captured by the beauty,
two souls just lost in time

There's roses in the window
I'll choose a few for you
so pure and fresh as daybreak
and a pleasure floating through

My gaze is with the star shine
glints of wonder cast your eye
I tilt your head, then kiss you
releasing feelings trapped inside

I Am a Star In the Sky

I am a unique creation of God
crafted with same love as others
for a unique purpose
I am no less, no more than others
I am equal to all

I have no right to feel inferior
for the great lord created me
nor have I the right to feel superior
for everyone was created by him

I know I am here in this mortal world
for short time

I am a star in the sky
living amidst other stars of same kind
vibrating in bliss and inner joy
I feel no sorrow no pain
I am happily dancing and smiling

I am sure one day I will leave this mortal world
and reach my true abode in the Milky way.

Wind

The wind rustles your hair as the sun brings joy .

It tells your secrets and they are well kept.

They go where it is needed turning gracefully.

Will you dance again?

What about your joy?

Its buried now and your hair is gone.

Birds dancing and your bare arms reach for me.

Saves the last dance.

I love your cold breath and the heat.

Your almost home.

But you will leave as before.

Dance for me.

Dance With Me

Writing is dancing with words...
a titillating tango with verbs delicious...
a sultry waltz with rhythm and meter...
a hot rumba with randy adjectives...
a forbidden dance with unnamed nouns...
if this has not left you wanting more
then I shall dance with words no more.

Poetry is a pure passion play
of alliteration and words dancing in line,
           a quick-stepping, twin-tapping salsa,
		a seductive rhapsody in rhyme,
		     moving metaphors, measure and time…
my love is wrapped in this poetry
so will you please come dance with me?

Reflections In Twilight

Angels in twilight
Reflections of affections
Dancing in starlight

When angels entwine
Harmonic explosions of devotions
A love divine

When angels embrace
Roses and wine will make you mine
With satin and lace

When angels dance
Starlets on fire with great desire
A burning romance

When angels fly
Dropping wishes of kisses
Amidst the jasmine sky

When angels sing
Humming in orchestral celestial
Vibrations in their wing

When angels dream
Marshmallow clouds over the crowds
Sitting on soft lavish green

When angels cry
Tears of wasted years
Reflections in my eye.

My Simple Valentine Story

dancing clumsily - shy blue cowboy eyes smiling. . . . he swept me away marriage fast foreknown - no proposal from his lips. . . . just lots of kisses my man of few words tells me, “I’ll always love you”. . . . few words are true words

- Who Are You -

Fascinating small and large things in life
A dancing feeling in your stomach
Independence and freedom
Positive resonated in the air

Friendship and community means to stand together
about the important things in life
That's about being present where we are

    Caring
    Humility
    Respect
    Happiness
    Time

Material benefits provide momentary happiness
Goals, ambitions and dreams ... small or large
Love can be silent and beautiful
With wonder and in deep thought
A magical moment ... who are you ?

A Blazing Fire

A blazing fire is crackling its refrain as I recall a love, perhaps not sane. Beside this hearth you tenderly caressed my body and we simmered; then we pressed against each other. Heat was our domain! My heart now pulses rhythm with a rain which beats staccato on my window pane. Torrential is the longing in my breast - a blazing fire. The warmth of your embraces soon would wane. You left, but images have seared my brain. . . like you in glow of dancing flames, undressed. I wish with all my soul that I were blessed to have you here again, for I remain a blazing fire
