Cuddles

Perhaps I was half asleep.
I always felt drowsy at night.
I sensed her warm body snuggling near me.
She put her head on my shoulders.
Her cuddles sent me to seventh heaven.
I only hoped she did not mind
The stubble on my unshaven face.
Still I was elated when as I felt
Her smooth downy face next to mine.
How fragrant was her exquisite hair,
I guessed it resembled a Soleil Neige,
An elegant and mesmerising perfume.
I took a deep breath, indulging
In its fruity nectar…so I opened my eyes.
Only to see an empty bed and a lumpy pillow.

Bunny

He’s a sad Bunny
With floppy ears
Sadly button eyes
they can’t shed tears

Bottom of the pile
New toys on top
He needed Beth’s help
To hippity hop

With imagination
she brought Bunny joy
He was her best friend
More than just a toy

Many years now passed
Beth searches for Bunny
A gift for her baby
who names Bunny Honey

Bunny’s happy again
That fuzzy lovely feel
Hippity hop heaven
Love makes Bunny real

Bunny’s round tail
has long been gone
But Bunny still sings
lovely bunny songs

She cuddles him close
Pets worn floppy ears
Bright Bunny button eyes
with no need of tears.

Fairy Tales, Angels and Cuddles

What would we do without Cuddles
They help us to get out of muddles
When we're feelin' down, they replace a frown
And they fill us so full of Love Bubbles

Beethoven, Sparkles and Lulu
Far greater than anything Tragic
Eeyore, T-T-Tigger and Pooh
In Dreams that are filled full of Magic

Angels are made for believin'
Even if we've never seen them
They mind us at night, when we shut our eyes tight
And they help the Dream Fairies to Weave them

Someday

Someday

I was blinded- no,
We were blinded
I was deaf- no,
We were deaf.

But when the warmth shines and cuddles,
Gently on the boundaries of my fragile heart,
Then I shall rise,
As I valiantly stand,
As I use my force in my legs and momentum,
I shall rise from perpetual darkness of dusk.

I will be then the next sunshine,
Kissing on the panes of your windows,
Hoping the sun shines one day after another
.
Someday,
I will be noticed- no,
We will be noticed
I will be the voice- no,
We will be the voice.

A Night Alone

The warmth of a hug, of the light touch of a kiss, filling my entire body with comfort and safety.
The heat from your breathing, heavy and soft at the same time, making me smile a little.
The comfort that we have around each other, to be ourselves.
To be just like old friends, teasing and poking.
True friendship, to be as close as can be, but still live apart.
Snuggles and cuddles, keep my thoughts on you, while nuzzling into your neck.
Letting sleep take me over, with the protection of your arms around me.

Little Baby

When I first saw you, you were so quiet, you hardly cry.
I wanted to hold you, and hold you, and hold you.
But our cuddles were so short because we lived miles.

You showed me love through your bright eyes and warm smile.
I held you and kissed you and told you, "You're cute by far."

Oh, little baby,I love you, and it's so hard to say goodbye.
But little one, every night I say a prayer that you'll stay as sweet as you are,
and you'll grow to become a man and make me proud by far.

Song In My Heart

If only you knew
Gazing upon you is a feast to my eyes
This song in my heart I sing for you
Know how deeply I care
The thrill of our touch
Ripples through calm seas

There is a chill in the air this morning
As the sun rises
And the moon goes to sleep
To cuddle with you and keep warm
There is a song in my heart
The tune that I hum
Of requited love
Submit to each other’s charms
For inside my heart is where you belong

There is a chill in the air,
A good morning for warm cuddles
There is a song in my heart
The tune that I hum
I’m thinking of you
Too shy to say how I feel
When you look into my eyes
My heart is betrayed
For now you know the song of my heart
Singing to you this love song”

Soul-Mate

So far I could remember,
It was first look ,very first feelings,
closed shy eyes were searching the beauties
Behind the silence of the soul wings.

The depth of the overview elegance of moonlight
touched the inner heart intensely and quite gently.
Couldn't know how its melted into the eternity
by its ray of innocence spontaneously.

The coincidence of overlapping concession
enhance the bond of budding minds.
Seems the moments blossomed into impetuous passion
like warm welcoming of the iconic scenic winds.

Time flies away,days passed away
But still the uniqueness cuddles the dream.
Seems the lullaby was being so tender
towards the benevolence of soul to a extreme sleep.

The Cat

He's a silent hunter,
with a murderous heart,
and he doesn't care,
what he tears apart,
he is very independant,
and cunning to,
and if your his prey,
then you are through,
he has a ravinish blood lust,
that he can't contain,
and if he don't kill,
he'll go insane,
he may seem like a sweet little kitty,
but trust me people,
he is witty,
don't let those purrs,
and cuddles fool,
he has many concealed weapons,
he'll use as a tool,
he has needle sharp teeth,
and 5 dagger claws,
on each and everyone,
of his cute little paws.

Bim and Kim

Bim and Kim are my best friends,
I think they’re rather neat.
Bim and Kim can twist and bend.
There second names are feet.

Bim goes left Kim follows suit,
If Bim jumps Kim jumps to.
The two of them are so darn cute,
When snuggled in my shoe.

Bim and Kim they like to run,
Trying to outrun each other.
They stick to me when having fun,
I guess I am their mother.

When Bim gets tired Kim stays still,
I watch them as they snooze
I laugh at them, I always will
When the two of them trade shoes.

Bim and Kim they love to laugh
And like to run through puddles.
Then after we all take a bath,
I give them lots of cuddles.

A Flight of Love

the swallows on deftly dipped wing
sews together the cloud
as with shrill thrill they sing

of lands left behind a funeral shroud
as they rise up on air
that dispels a season’s last doubt

but they fly to what and they fly to where?
towards hope and family and love,
away from despair

and down under eaves the burbling dove
cuddles warmly in a soft feathered nest
looking up high – looking above

at the swallows flight – flight at its best
whilst it fills the hungry upturned beaks
loved and protected, warm and blessed

and the pierced cloud then happily leaks
its tears on the face of the earths’ bone-dry cheeks

Love My Nana

My nana loves to cook
She doesn’t need a book.

Recipes, from her head
She makes up, so she said.

I admit you’ll agree
Not each one is for me.

Chocolate sauce on steamed fish
Personally, not my wish.

On ice cream, chopped parsley
Yes I know, quite ghastly.

Politely, I did say
Let’s try things a new way.

I put on my chef’s hat
We sat down for a chat.

Together, a great pair.
Be patient, show you care.

Life can be a muddle
Give nana a cuddle.

Cuddles make smiles appear
And dissolve every tear.

Fragrance Lingers Even Now

Tears smudged face
Sparkles in my eyes
Fears the spanks the cane paced
The treasures she offered whole
When I was small

Shared laughter, fears and dreams
She hardly rest but beside my sick bed?
Holds herself like a sandalwood tree
A pillar, a tower which my arms could spread
When my tears shed

Now withered and shrunken hands
Still hugs me and cuddles in a curly band
Her starry eyes look deep into mine
With pretty rosy lips she smiles
Breast filled with divine love never weaned
From Womb to tomb, I lean

Counting My Kids

6 beating hearts,
both loyal and true.
belonging to only,
my 4 and my 2.

12 eyes see my soul
1 trust from the start
1 000 000 memories
6 smiles touch my heart

8 years of cuddles
and countless to come
Inisde 48 fingers
and 12 little thumbs

stomping stampeding from
12 little feet
laughter explodes between
200 teeth

6 gorgeous heads
sporting 1 button nose
each with their own share
of 6 and 0 toes

no number to measure
all the joy that i gain
only 1 way to fix it
start counting again

Tribute To My Dog Marley

Marley, Marley, Marley
I miss you more every day
I miss your snuggles
I miss your cuddles
I miss your unconditional love

Marley, Marley, Marley,
I had no idea I would fall in love with you the way I did.
You wormed your way into my heart and into my life.
My soul will never be the same.
I miss everything about you being here.
I am sad that you are gone.

Hugs

Hugs, cuddles,
Cwtch is what we call them

Its when two people
Show their affection

When love is poured out
From one to another

Its saying sorry, hello,
Glad to see you or maybe goodbye

Hugs help the world go around
Understood in all languages

No age barrier
No sexual implications

Just a HUG
Saying Hi, pleased to see you.

Is there anything I can do to help.

Real Fairy Tales

In Fairy Tales...
Mother cuddles you at her bosom...
Father bounces you on his knee

In nightmares...called reality
Mommy and daddy
Are antagonists in a stage tragedy

Where their absence or dysfunction
Make it nearly impossible
To imagine happiness...

Or dream dreams.

But thanks to your love and support
I can envision a time...

When my children
Will be cuddled and bounced...

By their parents.

Bless you for intervening in my life
Making my childrens' fairy tales...

Reality.

My Sunshine Duncan

my sunshine duncan

I fill my sunset
My hours
My centuries
Miss the late afternoon!
Vens smiling stars
And bringest moonlights January ...
Contemplate You on this side of late hours
And see you in the mirror of absence.
Beyond the infinity of my soul,
Build the bridge that leads me to you
And grab the hand
That makes me cross oceans of love!
On the edge of my way to thee,
And the pain of cartilage,
Stump up the serenity,
Your horizon we know of
And find cuddles,
Will fill empty
Wings of tenderness
Ingrained in the absence!
