Poetry Reading

I listen to the young men
in their black turtlenecks
who spit their consonants forcefully
in cryptic metaphors
about the state of the world.
Their work makes me think.
I guess this means it is good.

But I will never be
one of the edgy poets.

The sight of a bare tree
tugs on my soul,
and the stones whisper to me,
and I must write
about the lonely winter rain
and the cherry blossoms –
in softer voice,
simpler words,
a few lines to sketch
the small, quiet wonders
I so love.

Soulmates in Death

Death's cosmic cryptic child Edgar Allen Poe
Whose spirit danced and was drenched in woe
Words were his secular style shields
Sugar skull sentences steam today in forever fields

Virginia Clemm his beloved beauty wife
A flowering fruition museum muse by his side
Alas, the silver scythe slid
With devouring disease, she succumbed to the soul pyramid

Frosted Windows

Eyes reflect a fireplace glowing,
Moonlight has its luring say.
Wrest the cork, the wine is flowing,
Laughter eases care away.

Glasses clink through frosted windows.
Reminisce when first they meet.
Face to face on propping elbows,
Whispers pillows ever keep.

Passion molds a cryptic sculpture
Shaped without a reason why.
Love creates a mystic culture,
Words attempt but can't define.

'cryptic Notes'

Cryptic notes on dirt stained walls
She gets to read the beating of your heart
Instead of feeling it
The distant cry of unrequited love
So loud
We heard it on the other side of town

You wore it on your sleeve
Proudly displayed
Never doubting what you felt
Even though she never acknowledged it
You hoped she would reciprocate
Until that day you got tired
Of putting up a brave face

You finally decided to move on

The Wind and Sky

It was in Autumn 's signature
the smell of burning leaves
that I succumbed to
distant drums
And bartered to believe.

Woodsmoke circled round
and round
to show your misty form
you kissed my face
with love and grace
and told me not to grieve .

Upon the hill a wolf pack
howled out my secret name
I shaped replies
in cryptic cries
and begged you not to leave.

You are the wind in winter
I am the Summer sky
the pain is sweet
we never meet
except in dreams we weave.

Assimilations Abstract Theory

Wakeful dispensations....

Traveling down reproaches weaving road at the speed of mono sound!?

Disintegrations decay within the rearview mirrors fiery blow-by-blows

Smoke and debris transformations strewn about whirlwind trails of sins

Destructive tales to form this phenomenon through, vestibules cryptic....

Cryptic Love Notes

The shadows whispering
In the silence I now sing
Hold me to their flames
The only comfort in this lasting pain

The words that can’t convey
The screaming in this place
Are love notes for the void
The only home left as I’m destroyed

Darkness in the light
Glowing in the night
Eyes that hold me still
The gazing truth my heart just can not kill

Nothing else to say
It still won’t go away
A stranger in my dreams
I wake to find that I no longer breathe

A horror that remains
It just won’t be erased
The loss of all that’s true
Breaks me down, but I’m still lost in you

Far too much to share
My reflection isn’t there
Sanity is gone
Another life where I just don’t belong

Alchemist

Decipher the messages
Encoded impervious presages
Alert your senses
Reinforce illusion defenses
Alchemist of unknown
Predisposed to finally atone?

Question corollaries prior
Analyze what may transpire
Beckon your defenders
Desire of all surrenders
Cryptic are ambitions
End-all of other expeditions?

Stroke scar in reflection
Separate from your affection
Clasp your shield
Promote the force field
Abstruse is verity
Words birthed in sincerity?

Kiss dreams of devotion
Taste the foreign potion
Dismiss your immunity
Dare mystery opportunity
Mystical is the allure
This alchemy is beyond obscure

Birds

Sometimes you may look and see birds
pecking away at thoughts
you thought so done,
But they see things within what you
look at.
They carry each other beyond the moment of
controlled lustfulness

They feed endlessly when all
inside us dies
They inject a futile wish to endure,
even when truth hits

And then they wilt
As those cryptic souls we craft,
decide their destiny…

Fragmenting the Oscillatory Destiny

Fragmenting the oscillatory destiny, bounding amongst damnation. Tyranny divine
halts a bullet mid shot to incite havoc throughout your skull, slowly dissolving reality.
Beneath a sensuous veil the vivisection allures a prophetic dissociation. A cryptic
dissension of virtues hidden, poisoning infecting scathing. All angles considered yet
am I trapped willingly?

Treasure Chest 1

Pirates often take grapes from vines
When the fruits of love taste so divine
Ownership is of no concern
They bury treasures later upturned

They make cryptic maps, with subtle glues
They sail their ships, filled with booze
Wine, woman and song, their daily pleasure
Some would say, is that not the treasure?

If a woman would give you a kiss
Would not all treasure be amiss?
For real treasures you keep in your heart
And never let real lovers to part!!

Oh but a treasure map is and enticing thought
If it leads to places you thought naught
So here I lay a treasure before you
Never has a golden treasure been so true

As you

Hark, the Misfortunate Heart

Time unfolds
Futures untold
The sweet November wind
Of many untamed passions
Will you not share this sweetness with me?
Swiftly, so gallantly
Lullaby dreams

The walk down the memory
The nearness of your melody
This cryptic sullen meaning
Of vitality is painless

Will you not play another song for me?
Willingly, so desperately
Relentless pain, never leaves
Unchained melancholy
Speak your words so freely
Time, oh wishful star in my dim dark sky

Deep autumn shadows
Please share your strength with me
A heart full of tears
Pierce my soul with yours alone
A wistful, sorrowful good night

Puzzle

You are the riddle I can't answer;
the mystery I can't unravel is you.
Every word a cryptic cypher,
hidden from me, even when in view.

Never no-ing, never yes-ing,
Always maybe; you keep me guessing.
Yet, around you, my heart does revolve.
You remain the puzzle I just can't solve.

So many secrets, never tell.
I lie awake into the night
And I wonder what the hell?

Curative Beauty

He
mumbles
cryptic terms
to spring a love
he has camouflaged
in the shelf of his heart
Though dust has cumulated
He managed to pave his way
to attain her secluded fortress
His gestures decrypted what words failed.

Just a Game

You want the girl, then listen to what i have to say. Only whipped men listen and
obey too anything women will say. Be aggressive when you see what you want
and always remain nonchalant. Act as you could careless, even when their self
esteem exceeds the rest. Don't think of your initial meeting as an act. Girls have
a sixth sense about fiction from fact. Find common ground, but always remain
cryptic and profound. The less they know, the more their curiosity will grow.
Never overact when your pride is suddenly attacked. This is just a game, never
let her see shame and your ego will remain intact. Never declare your love too
soon and your appeal will remain immune.

Anticipation

The days seem long,
The nights feel lonesome,
I live in the anticipation,
That you will be back in my life soon.

The days of love letters are history,
The emails get to be very cryptic,
The ilu and imu seem farfetched,
When what I long to hear are a few live loving words.

What I am missing is not the wealth or pleasure,
But your love and undivided attention,
I want to hold your hands and put my head on your shoulders,
Just being with you makes my life worth living for.

The anticipation of our reunion,
Will erase the pangs of separation from my heart,
The waves on the beach would not be beating the shores that impatiently,
since you will be in my heart, body and soul.

A Dangerous Ghost

His energy unshakable,

Behind his eyes a cryptic message,

He looks to her in search of answers,

Her face a distorted visage,

He won’t let go, she won’t let show,

Copious feelings, that both souls know,

A blemished love, of labored strife

Double edged-sword, hurts like a knife,

With a goodbye both swift and eerie,

She lay in wanting, she lay awaiting,

Days without word, she overdosed,

On the emotion felt innermost

Anxiety struck at the central nerves

Her heart nicked, in distress

His pain remained the same,

Her pride lost, her heart the cost of his never-ending game.

Self Portrait

SELF PORTRAIT…1

I’m a dark hued mind poet
     Writing mine;
Often inking seemingly empty words
     Bled from pregnant thoughts.

But even these I want to share.
     Sharing is caring:
            About peace
        About freedom
            About love;
         About unborn babes
            About the bomb

And about lumbering shadows of life
     Silhouetting hungry death.

I’m a dark hued mind poet
     Writing mine;
A cranial reservoir dripping
     Spear tipped words;
Dripping magical words
     Conjuring
       Cosmic
        Consciousness:
Defying the cryptic void of silence.

A Hug

The shine over there and I got stucked
The roof over there and I want to be hugged
I know that there is no one, still I wait
In the result, I got late
The winter night is rude for being shrinked
And I thought that maybe I get linked
There is no one for me
But I still there to be
The night and the shine has cryptic meaning
But my decoding ability went for the cleaning
I am thinking with my blowing mind
And light is helping me to get find
My inner voice is screaming
But still I am dreaming
I felt that I got sucked
That's why I want to be get hugged

You Have To Work To Get To the Good Part

Shattered Obsidian
Depiction at present never
recorded
Insight into the depths never
possible
Understanding never feasible
Virtue of limitless love never
envisioned
Glimpses the height of
comprehension for most
Obsidian shell's razor edges
protecting fragility within
Shielded scars deep behind the
mask
Cryptic and secluded manner
Solitary existence paired with
aversion to close
companionship

Cryptic phrases
I can’t decode them
Frozen in a memory

Or a voice that simmered
On the depths of the horizon?

She-Wolf Part 2

A man tainted by the she-wolf
Cursed by the bite of humanoid beast
The demonic infection brings a change
His future is now bonded with her
No cure, now a cryptic walking on the snow
As the wolf bane blooms he shall howl
The winter moon brings out his ferocious nature
Living possessed following the trail of his destined love
The madness leads him to a path of killing
Blood and entrails flowing down his mouth
Doomed to a life of carnivorous tendencies
Rampaging his becoming territory
Clawing at men of silver bullets
He can't be put to rest
Only his she-wolf brings him at peace
