Love Is

Love is a sugar cookie,
 Sweet and delightful

Love is a pillow,
Soft and fuzzy

Love is the internet,
It never ends

Love is a tree,
It keeps growing

Love is a knife,
It can tear you apart

Love is a drug,
It can be addictive

Love is…… Life

Cookies-Food For Thought

Cookies -
Why can’t I have the chocolate one
I want more
She took my cookie
Hers is bigger than mine
I want to trade
That’s not fair

Cookies +
Thank you for the cookie
I love you
Thanks for all you do for me
I am satisfied
This is good
I am loved

God Knows I Ate a Cookie

From the top of my head
to the tip of my toes
there's nothing about me,
that God does not know.

He knows I am weak,
but in Him I am strong.
And what ever I do,
He sees my rights
and He sees my wrongs.

God, You know I'm not perfect,
and this cookie I eat,
tastes so delicious,
fresh baked and sweet.

Help me, God, to control
my diabetes today.
And give me a love
for more veggies, I pray.

(P.S., God, Can you make them taste sweet?
Like the cookies so tempting that I love to eat.)

Complete Cookie

Who would of thought, A Cookie would make us Complete
From the moment we met, We were glad to meet
Vegan inspired, You'd thought it be Yucky!
Therefore I shared, And you were so lucky

Satisfied taste buds, Along with good Conversation
Over a Year later, Off an exit you should've never taken
Soft Kisses and touches, Feeding our imaginations
A feeling much deeper, two hearts making a connection

If I am your Cookie, Then what are you to me

Love At First Sight --Cookie Jar

Cookie Jar

If you were close and not so far away
I would bring you a cookie from my
Cookie Jar
Hoping you would take a bite,
                                                                       Love

About the Cross

***************

From out...
Of the Cookie Cutter
My love for Christ
Shall always be
      -----
When I think of His Love
It brings' things' back to me
In and around Eternity
      ------
I simply must reply with-in
I know that their is a reason
Why thing's shouldn't have been
Let Thy Will be done'
      ------
Why Gods' only Son
Had to die on the 'CROSS'
That day, to revive the people
To make them Pray!
      ------
And surely did they Pray!
      ------
Yet, by no stretch
     Of the imagination...
Was the title lost?
      ------
But for the price of freedom
Jesus paid the COST

Hand In the Cookie Jar

Stopped at the light
Looked over and there she was
Smiling, laughing then waving
Cause she was caught

I chuckled, her at me
She didn't turn, neither would I
Light turned green, it was time to go
Her number I needed to know
Trapped by glass
This couldn't start nor could it last

Waved in small goodbyes
Pressed the pedal and broke the ties

But man was she pretty

The Dark Sky

When the sky is dark
and the moon is up
I remember the way you look
at me, your pet and cookie and sweets
and I can't help but sigh
so pretty as it can be, that's
you and me together till the
end of time and maybe a pet by
our side looking up at the dark
night sky when the stars are shining.
just like you every time you smile
and it makes my heart swell with pride
because you my beautiful spouse
are my one and only muse
looking up at the dark sky not caring
about time flying by and
just holding hands
not more than that. those are
the moments I'll cherish forever in
my heart just like my love for you
it will never burn out

When Santa's Wife Got Frisky

After baking all day, Mrs. Claus then felt bold.

She perfumed her nude body, hoping for nookie.

Santa cried, "Put some clothes on, Dear. You'll catch a cold.

The house smells like heaven. Please hand me a cookie."

A Mother's Love

A mother's love:
    is a warm embrace.
        It is bed-time stories,
           and pancakes for breakfast.

A mother's love:
    is kissing a boo-boo,
        making the hurt all better,
with a cookie and a hug.

A mother's love:
    encourages what is good,
        discourages what is bad,
           and always forgives.

A mother's love:
    is unconditional,
       unforgettable,
           neverending.

A mother's love:
    is all encompassing.
       It's a cozy snuggle,
          on a cold winter's day.

My Fun Loving, Protective and Quite Curious Paddy

You were so teeny and tiny and fuzzy and bright

You stayed by my side through morning and night

You were always so excited to see me when I walked in the door

We,d play games with your toys strewn all across the floor

Our Love was such it crescendoed from the start

Now, I have Memories of you that can fill up a Heart

Having you in my Life I certainly rolled a Lucky Seven

Along with Sparky and Mindy, Cookie and Dillie and Devan

I,ll miss you so much there,s one thing that makes my sadness leaven

I can see you guys rollicking up there together

 having fun in Doggie Heaven

A Cookie Full of Bullets

I open my package of
oatmeal raisin, chocolate chips cookies
I scraped away the sun dried devils
and devoured the chocolate chips of course
but something felt funny, so I forced
my finger down my throat and puked
up my lunch, the yellow, green concoction
contradicted the lead filled little bites of death
and I also spit up some blood as well
stomach pains and heart palpitations
were my best friends for the next 3 months
reminding me that if I ever buy cookies
online again make sure the package
doesn't say "from Russia with love..."

Bridal Wreath

Bridal Wreath Jasmine is the scent of romance Its fragrance creates A hypnotic trance Two wrapped around each other move As one to the heart strings of one another Twilight falls upon a humid summer night Caressing lovers in warm vanilla sugars of delight Jasmine lays them in her arms of scented cotton Beneath the stars blossoms a night never forgotten His tender kiss and gentle search for the garden gate Calls passion through the porthole as desire waits As the zephyr breeze increases the flower opens beneath Engulfed in their night covered by their bridal wreath Carole Cookie Arnold 2011

Cookie

Slice after slice broke layer of the cookie dough.
Chocolate oozed from the cookie.
The girl reached to grab the first
It explodes on the floor.
She fell with it
Anything destroyed would ruin her
She started cutting her cookie dough
Tearing the skin
Leaving herself to bleed.

Until a boy reached to grab the top one.
He held it, cherished it, loved it
It was the best cookie he'd ever had.
He wouldn't let it slip.

The plate fell, but he caught his cookie
The floor cracked, but he gripped it tight
The world split and he held the cookie.
The boy and his cookie,
No matters.

One day the boy was a cookie
But his cookie saved him from being sliced.

Winter Snow Ringing In the New Year

Winter snow came in with the restless wind
Falling from the dim night undisciplined
Lazily swirling fine lace.
Swept in by its downy grace
To the earth below like so sparkler twinned.

Ringing in the New Year as glasses raise.
A toast to new beginnings with fresh ways.
Keeping the hand gloved, out of
Cookie jars enticing love,
Sex-craze promises make those good old days.

Better

A small house filled with love
is better than a large house that has none.
A cookie shared with a friend
is better than two cookies eaten alone.
A broken down sofa filled with family and friends
is better than an empty throne.

On a Personal Note

On a Personal Note

I feel I need to share with
all of you why I have been scarce here on soup.
I am legally blind with two terminals. I also
have a mass that is growing in the left quadrant of my brain.
I have just been notified of another problem called
Chronic Peroxysmel Hemicranias which causes 5 to 40 painfully severe attacks on my brain
per day.

Please forgive my absence I am trying to be here between attacks but it is a slow process.
Please keep me in your prayers

Within That Special Moment

I love to peruse family vacation photos, while enjoying a very distinctive cookie and a tasty cup of, french vanilla latte. Sometimes, you just have to return to that vacation and enjoy the trip, all over again. Great memories savored, along with, something sweet; oh, how it takes the edge off, of a hard week. Within that special memory moment; the soul begins to sing.

My Gratitude To Soup

As you all know I have been having health difficulties lately
in a major way. The tumor in my head has began to leak due to the Peroxymal Hemicranium
exiting out through my eyes. This had taken nearly all my sight and the cancer has entered
my bones. I am mentioning this only because of all the wonderful people here who have read
my work so faithfully without weariness because of my lack of being able to review.

All of you have touched my life so deeply that I want to say Thank You all so very much for
your love. I pray God blesses each one of you with every desire that dwells within. You have
made me feel so welcomed and loved.

Catch a Falling Star

True love, the rarest falling star,
If caught the heart bursts into light,
So bright it shimmers near and far,
And lingers beyond dark of night.

To catch its beam for the pocket,
True love, the rarest falling star,
This heart then a treasured locket
The sweetest cookie in the jar.

A serenade by old guitar,
That calls aloud to heart’s intent,
True love, the rarest falling star,
So rare no fear would dare dissent.

This empathy between two souls,
At first it seems a tad bizarre,
Yet predefined on ancient scrolls;
True love, the rarest falling star.
