Beyond Expression

She: I have no one to shower love upon me.
He: "I" love you
She: You are a busy man. You don't have time for anything. You neither wish me on my birthday nor text me ever. You never speak sugary sweet words to me.
He: I "LOVE" you
She: I have neither family nor friends, I possess neither wealth nor any riches, I have no education nor do I have any knowledge of the world.
He: I love "YOU"

Her eyes melted and his heart filled with joy.

Secrets of Passion

The sheets beneath the shadow lights a spark, for whence we laid down he nestled his head. Our enchantment lights magic in the dark, but so much is spoken with words unsaid. For love can be given without a sound, and received within the silence of night. Freely nurturing with touching, profound, nevertheless understood without sight. Let us keep the secrets of passion calm, yet exalt beyond the whisper of breeze. Free from apprehension and busy qualm, longing for our souls to be hushed with ease. For as long as we remain free from sound, our mystical romance will be unbound. ~28 April 2016~

Talk To Me

Talk to me otherwise I'll disturb you, I'll follow you everywhere and sneak into your mind silently. From the busy street to your lonely room, in the hectic hour and in lazy noon, I'll come to you, upsetting your schedule frequently. In sleepless nights when you nurture, caress a newborn poem, I'll come in forcing you to stop and think of me. Please talk to me! ================

Finding the One

to find one's soulmate
one needs to listen to their heart

some set out for the big quest
the truth is your soulmate is nearby

your mate’s destiny is to find you
strange how serendipity works

while you keep busy being
the best person you can become

your soulmate will hover around you
like a bee to a flower

it will happen when you least expect it
when you're at peace within

you’ll recognize your soulmate
you just need to listen with your heart

Just Us

Just a girl, just a guy.
With our love we managed to fly.

Just a kiss, just love,
A helping hand from above.

Just an arguement, just a fight.
So much for making it right.

Just two people, just a busy street.
But then our eyes meet.

Just our love, just a spark.
A flame burning in the dark.

Just a girl, just a guy.
Pick up the pieces and have another try.

A Quickie

Busy lives hinder love making sessions
This leads to sadly many depressions
        Ten minutes of good fun
      Connect now with your one
A quickie is much needed and freshens

New Dreams

The ending of an old week
the beginning of a new month
and the memories of an old hour.

The dawning of a new day
the setting of an old sun
and the rising of a new star.

A perfect year has begun
your dreams lay not afar.

Start it with a smile
and make this coming year
a year worthwhile!

Hey people...soooo sorry I wasn't here to read all of your lovely poems in a long while,
I've been really busy with school....I wish you all a happy new year and I hope it brings
lots more wonderful poetry as well....I missed you all!....:).......love always, Maryam

Crossing Your Path

I saw you were seating in the car park
In the wooden chair, no one I saw there
And you expected no one there by heart
But I crossed your path by a similar idea
We met unexpectedly in a place called "park"

Since all rooms were taken by busy hearts
And all the streets were filled with running cars
We are forced to park here, the place we share
Could this meeting up last for thousands of years?

Lowering the Union Jack, 1962

Like love ones come to view a parting ship
Before the anchor lifts
And its iron lips prow the salty waves
We journeyed from our busy day and penny pay
And the indifferent utterances to our cause
We came tattlering and joking and tired
Of the conditions simulating the bitter colonial
We wiped the bread crumbs from our mouth
Stood erect with eyes upon a pole
And watch the tricolored form slithered down
Head drooping in the gusty night
And all the while Dura drums rolling softly
Could not budge my steel convictions with fire
I felt alone in the long uproar of crowd
For I think I saw it winked an opulent eye
Before the pole flagless stood silent in naked night.

'be a Rainbow'

Dreary days are forecast when rain are pelting down grey skies as far as you can see just like that, a a rainbow appears, without warning your spirit feels lifted guess there is something to smile about life has its moments where little seem to make sense and all you are capable of are tears just like a rainbow “a hello”, or “a how are you doing?” can be life altering In our busy lives; we rarely say “I’ve been thinking about you” who knows maybe someone is in need of a rainbow While navigating through the private storms in their lives...

Let Our Memories Be the Bridge

LET OUR MEMORIES BE THE BRIDGE
(Written for my dear friend Mike Guest NZ)
(an Eulogy from afar)

For those of you that gather this day
With individual memories to savour
Use them all to build a busy highway
A bridge to cross with words of favour.
While across the miles with love that remains strong
Knowing your book of life now can be signed
We’ll remember the words of the song
You’ll always be on my mind.

Christmas Eight Weeks Away POTD

Stopping by early, soon it will be Christmas Day,

Shiny gifts, inviting bows, ‘neath the tree do lay,

Hot, mulled apple cider in red glass, deer mugs.

Magnificent family with endless, warm, love hugs!

Roast beef, just glowing with luscious juice.

Sad absence of cousins, Maggie and Bruce!

The peace and love that fills the pine scented room.

Wish all days, were like this, the absence of gloom!

Merry Christmas poets and love to one and all!

This is your early eight week, wake up call!

                           10/25/2024

Love and hugs to all, in those busy, fun weeks ahead.

Unsingle

You French exit at the back door
When you laugh rolling on the floor
For me you have a lot in store
Can’t tell now but I know there’s more

I just find your choice perplexing
Wondering if you’re wondering
What it’s like loving and learning
I’m just here, silently waiting

Your busy-being-single phase
Like the cool drizzle on my face
Soon enough will vanish in space
Your way back to love, you’ll soon trace

Open your eyes and look at me
I know I can make you happy
I have never been this cheesy
You can give in, you can choose me

Depression

I'm suffering from depression.
that only I can see.
I've tried to feel alive more than once.
But this daydream will never be.

I know death is eternal.
A decision I'm willing to take.
I've lived this life long enough.
And made my choice to make.

Whether it be with a knife.
A gun or a few pills.
I know ill be gone forever.
As my body lays there still.

Mom would be to busy to stop me.
Dad wouldn't even try.
But even the words I love you.
Wouldn't stop my choice to die.

As for all my friends.
Tell them they never cared.
And now ill get my revenge.
By giving them the pain I've shared

Instrument of Love

Play me in the morning before I've time to dress.
Play me softly. I will be your lute.
Hold me to your lips. . . and lightly press.

Should you see me in the afternoon,
pick me up, and I will be your harp.
Caress my strings and hear my angelic tune.

In the evening, come on playfully.
I'll be busy in the kitchen, but a tambourine
I'll be for you as I sway my hips! Jingle-jangle me!

But at night, I want to be your fond guitar.
First cradle me; then stroke me with your passion.
Feel me vibrate with delight as I sing and glisten like a star.

No One Notices

Her heaven will be a love without betrayal
Reality is an ugly, misused state
Of which the world should have never been

Around and around we go
Day in until our final day out

It rains the tears have mixed
So this wetness of my face you cannot tell
Which is which

As I walk through a crowd of busy people wielding cell phones and umbrellas
I am all alone
No one sees me, really sees me or notices
Until I'm gone

In Response

In response

To your worried heart

Mind, mouth and stomach

Your busy thoughts

In response to your

Shaking hands and ill head

Your rightfully placed overreactions

You're right in placing them…pacing then

In response to your love for me

Well I cannot ignore it

So I blush and beg for it

Secretly…of course

You are my everything and I will do anything

To hush your fears

Morning Splendour

Nature beckons me with its charm ~ trees waving in the wind wish me good morning from their farm; birds chirrup, their music plays on, young ones squeak in response, I love hearing these sounds at dawn; honeybees, butterflies float by, busy waking flowers, I watch them with a content sigh, buds open up their little heads, sun rays smile at dewdrops, charming me as morn's splendour spreads. 10.16.2020

Reason To Smile

Many people don't know
The pain i live each day,
I keep it all locked up inside
Always thought its best this way.

Friends eagerly invite you
Saying your busy its no,
Knowing the truth your broke
Otherwise you would love to go.

Weighing things completely
Listening to what others say,
Nothing ever really changes
For its the same each day.

Despite all life's short comings
After you sit and think awhile,
You still have your loved one
For this you'll forever smile.

Peace In My Embrace

I am busy now
but will come back in your mind....
sleepless nights await

wherever you go
I will sneak into your thoughts....
keep the pills ready

pills may bring you sleep
but can they give you the peace?....
peace in my embrace

At a Distance From Close By.

Missing you,
in the heat of summer,
busy lives we are encountered by.

A subtle grin appears across my face,
looking up into the sky,
wondering the afternoon away.

The distance we know,
doesn't surpass the truth,
a truth that becomes stronger as time passes us by.

Message Left

MESSAGE LEFT

While you were out, the world came to an end
There was no cataclysm, no protesting cry
No final trumpet call to comprehend
But long exhaling breath, communal sigh

I tried to call: lines busy, no connection
I suppose I was not alone with a message, above
all other concerns and issues of every complexion:
this one universal assurance of unending love

I Can'T Stop Thinking About You

I can't stop thinking about you

Do you think?
I think for you only when I talk to you or chat.
I do think for you more after I leave you from chat or talk.

Do you think?
I see you at times only when we hang out for coffees.
I see you over and over again in the shadows I cross.

Do you think?
I am busy buzzing only around with chores.
I am busy conquering the whole world to bestow you.

Do you think?
I say I love you only because a lover chanted.
I do say I love you much because I live you more till I breathe last.

Baby! I just can't stop thinking about you...
