allegory
The mind and universe confide. Between
Them, they are one. Like lovers devoted.
They share fluctuations on an ocean
Wave, washing mindful shores, to redeem
Those sparkling pearls, that have formed along.
Pearls of wisdom and love, confounding one
On sands that motion to and fro, unseen.
Like lovers they, the mind and universe
Converge – inseparable – beholding
One another. Cosmic thoughts emerge
Like bubbles on the ocean waves, changing
Detailed rhythms – familiar all the same.
Together, they hear a song; they dance as
Lovers do – mirroring both reflections.

joy, love,
Love begins with joy,
sidestepping thought ploy,
sharing and caring,
with all souls pairing.
Love is not a trade,
nor assigns a grade;
it's a warm embrace,
akin to God's grace.
Bliss bubbles passion
is love's compassion,
holding each soul near;
all to our heart dear.
When true love's seeded,
no echo's needed,
for the flame burns on,
each breath a new dawn.
Like the pristine dew,
each love hue is new,
magic on display,
making earth life play.
Fires of love let's stoke
in heart to invoke,
bliss fragrance sublime,
to heavenward climb.

child, father daughter, children, my child,
What would we do without Cuddles
They help us to get out of muddles
When we're feelin' down, they replace a frown
And they fill us so full of Love Bubbles
Beethoven, Sparkles and Lulu
Far greater than anything Tragic
Eeyore, T-T-Tigger and Pooh
In Dreams that are filled full of Magic
Angels are made for believin'
Even if we've never seen them
They mind us at night, when we shut our eyes tight
And they help the Dream Fairies to Weave them

smelling blossoms fill the air.
Sister's golden hair glistened in the
Summer sun's glow, as Mother blew
colorful bubbles that bounced off
her little nose.
Mother's heart was always full of
love to share and the day of blossoms,
and bubbles will forever in my memories
be kept with loving care.
Precious and few are moments shared
together. This wonderful day of blossoms
and bubbles, in my heart will last forever.

Hearing the waters
Translucent lavender flow
Imagination
Enriched blind, senses kick in
Silence abounds, clothes in fall
Naked to bare dip
Porcelain to porcelain
Glass of champagne chinks
Lapping ripples in caress
Submerged delights allure me
Patiently I wait
Her cue, for me to approach
Encroach, I go through
Eyes, eye, tanned undulations
When said bubbles dissipate

life, lovetime, time,
The patterns of my life
Sifted through your heart.
The calling of the wind
Gives you a place to start.
The crashing of the tide,
The bubbles of the surf.
The roughness of my fingers
After time kissing with the earth.
The golden ray of eyesight,
And the shield black with pain.
The rumble of the thunder
Then its calming, soothing rain.
The time you kissed my eyelids
As night turned into day.
The way that Hamlet felt
When his Ophelia sank away.
You taught my heart to sing,
And my thoughts to find their place,
Then you sang yourself to sleep
Still creating time and space.

fantasy, hope, love, sad,
Alone she sits at a table for two
In the corner bistro off Main
Cole Porter’s "I’ve Got You under My Skin"
Wafts softly throughout the room
After hours of lingering hope
She watches happy clients come and go
Bubbles of happiness fill their chatter
Laughter walks out trailing behind
Alone she sits and surveys the room
Even the wait staff now seems scarce
Time has vanished like steam in air
A waiter hints it is closing time
Table lights now give out a faint glow
Too much to bare, she decides to leave
But…O, how she loves him so! And though it's late
Still, she stalls… perhaps he will show up soon

lost love,
The early days were bubbles
When days passed in moments
And the air between us
Never escaped.
Soon after something died
As if it was all normal
Like you blow off the candles
After a romantic dinner.
When silence became the norm
We didn't ask why,
There wasn't a breaking storm,
Not even a feisty sky.
Then,
One day she was gone.
We still love each other
Strange as it may sound.
Now we want to be friends.
Who could have known then
This is how it ends,
In a stalemate.

joy, spiritual,
We are he who we seek
Millions of magnetised bliss bubbles burst
Concentrated along our central vein
Rapture beyond measure quenches heart’s thirst
Ignition renews again and again
We would, if we could, transfer this power
Pulsating joyously within our heart
Love drenched soul dances in a bliss shower
God transmutes form, as a work of His art
The trick, oh hermit, is tranquil stillness
By letting go of each ego spawned urge
Thought rested awareness, one with oneness
Celebrates within, thunderous bliss surge
Delusional is imagined bondage

character, devotion, love,
A parched wind
still circles the dust devils
corralling them
in funneled fury.
The old rooster
atop the barn
squeaks
as the weather changes
as do the joints
in the old blue jeans.
Hard black coffee
bubbles on the stove,
her apron hangs
a memory
on the chair,
an old screen door
shudders,
slams shut,
an old dog curses
the dust.
Bowed heads watch
as he laces his boots,
reaches for that
damned hat,
sips the last of the coffee
runs his fingers
across the hanging apron
whispers
“I love you”,
sets off to worship
in the shrine
of their lives.

Lotioned bubbles being spread with care
glistening reflections we each to share
mirrored beauty of love to drip
humming sensations brought forth from lips
Meltdown will happen to candle before
these two lovers unremitting ignore
from tub to floor,to carpet to bed
candlelight flickers continue to shed.....

appreciation, imagery, summer,
I Love You, Friday
This is one of God’s exquisite days,
Like a spilled bag of twinkling pastel jewels,
A sweet breeze as if from a child blowing bubbles,
The songs of many birds trilling their wonder.
The fresh scent of summer grass newly mowed,
Flowers reaching, smiling at a winking sun.
Baby cotton clouds floating, drifting to and fro,
Sifting heaven’s perfumes upon His earth.
In the distance a cheerful canine's bark is heard,
As if thanking our Lord for his gifted bone,
And I, with my swelling heart of gratitude,
Enjoy a book – on my deck – at my home.

A little girl am I, and I am blowing
bubbles in the air as I am glowing.
I glow with joy to see bubbles everywhere
rising beautifully above me in the air.
Bubbles big and pretty shine with colors of
aqua, grape and lemon, and they shine with love.

The Champagne of Life
7/26/2023
Tis the delight of the liquid, golden, morning sun,
Gleaming in my tall, orange juice’s crystal glass.
Add gratitude, for you, a poet, with morals and class.
You may not be the best poet at the top of the list.
But to communicate your very best is your wish.
You are not all out there, trying to be a champion fish!
People like you. dear friend, communicate love.
For you are the rainbow bubbles in my day’s hours.
I read humble you, with joy, in these poetic towers

life,
My lady has a passion like a lark
Her burning heart is made from a small spark
Immortality strikes what’s never lame
She’s never burnt by the eternal flame
My lover holds some joy here before me
In a sentiment unlike what we see
There’s solid power through her perfect skies
Opening amazement inside her eyes
Her love boils to the surface with bubbles
She plays a soft harp which in turn doubles
Secretly time has eloped through to her
A desire that’s unlike any other
A myriad purchased by her tenderness
Countless touches into my awareness

wine,
Eighty I am but now I feel young
When bubbles of champagne tingle my nose
The wine going down my brain to disclose
Is acting in my soul like a big bang.
It’s a real new blossom of my youth lost
Which fills of flowers each next bubbling drop
It is a flow of petals with no stop,
A spray of perfume exciting at most.
A miracle happens wider than told
Since I am feeling as long time ago
When bubbles and love together could go
Their blossoms transform a man even old.
Blossoms and bubbles from a crystal glass
Are doing of me a young of first class.

drink, romance, wine, woman,
She's as smooth as glass
With gentle curves.
A fine crystal that sings
With a moistened touch.
She's a sweet moscato or riesling
With bubbles that giggle when she smiles.
Or maybe a mellow red
That leaves a taste that asks for more.
She warms my heart and soul
And shows me new steps on the floor.
Her sweet plump fruits catch my eyes
And caress me through the night.
Tomorrow she will welcome me again.
A love affair and not a sin.

funny, love,
I thought to give his description
and tell why I want him alive.
He often causes adventure,
my life took a certain nosedive.
Standing, he’s five to six inches,
a bent toothpick he calls his bow.
He shoots tiny pins like arrows
and he chants garbled words for show.
His claims make love everlasting,
‘specially on Valentine’s day,
‘twas last year I called on his name
so right now... it’s better he pay.
No man came my way as promised.
His pin shot some pig in the ***.
Chanting with alcohol bubbles
started fireworks across the grass.
So please, help me find this Cupid.
The smoked ham and bacon is gone.
Insurance covered fire losses.
I’m ready for love to come on…

best friend, emotions, for him, love, senses, universe,

You sing and I will be the note you strain to reach.
Even in your sleep, the dreams of love in reverse,
I will be that scream of nightmares you breach.
Put one foot forward and I will be a foot away.
Fly and I will be the wing that meets the gale force
that which propels the flight to lands faraway
and guides you back home to love and its source.
Laugh, sing and I will be the bubbles of joy overflow.
Cry the tears attesting to gladness, sorrow and pain.
Whatever emotion I will be the candle forever aglow
even in death, I will be your light come shine or rain.

the channels of life's paths I do not flee
whimpering in distress bottomward brewed
while evil oozes in a whisper plea
don't let me skid among bedrock subdued
baptize me of passion while by my side

beauty, emotions, feelings, imagery, love,
Blossoms ride a babbling brook out to sea,
as it bubbles and gurgles over rocks.
And two lovers under a cherry tree,
silently share the moment; neither talks.
Watching the pastel-pink petals rain down,
they listen to the water's subtle song.
And as blossoms and bubbles swirl around,
a sweet-scented breeze pushes them along.
Dusk inks silhouettes with its fading light,
as shadows merge, combining into one.
And the stars come out to confetti night;
no longer eclipsed by a shining sun.
Lovers succumbing to fantasy's bliss,
snuggle as pink blossoms and bubbles kiss.

My mind drifting in imagination
Remembering all, the things you have said
Drawing pictures from heartfelt sensations
That cotton candy smile of friendliness
Happy eyes like a teddy bear surprise
Shiny hair with a flowery fragrance
Feathery skin soft as baby blue skies
Prancing around in old worn out blue jeans
Pretending you're dancing with another
Laughing and swirling in your own daydream
With a fantasized secretive lover
Now I've drifted back to reality
Wondering if you were dancing with me
