death, pain, sad love, sorrow, truth,
Tell me why, but tell me True-
Spare me the heartbreak of a Lie
I would lay forever in these meadows...
Forever, until I die!
To rid myself of all the Pain,
And the Sorrows of what I feel
To ease my Mind, my worried Brain
(Lord! The Cuts! I need to heal)

character, integrity, people,
Easy to judge by what it seems to be,
More effort to immerse in what we hear.
Take time to talk, there is much more to me,
Before you tune me out, lend me your ear.
Estranged to yours my life seems to appear
Yet I laugh, love and struggle as do you.
Same start, same final and same febrile fear -
To be misjudged for diverse points of view.
Bisected by a biased borderline,
It only seems we are two worlds apart -
For eyes to see, open your closed up mind
Lend me your ear, I’ll open up my heart.

loss, lost love, sad,
All those lies,
The creaking on the stairs
Glazed fixed eyes
Upon scuff marked boots
My abrupt croak,
Droned-out by sudden humming
From the refrigerator
My voice falls,
Pitched to the floor
Like suspended in time
To look upon these photos now
Hold nothing but false pretenses
A mirrored hope,
To escape for plummeting slopes
Our roots untouched lay
Fuming in collective dust
Along the many volumes
None would ever breach
Poisingly I held my chin,
Towards the cupping sun
Lapping in all it's warmth
Knowing with just two words
I'd stop the flooding dams, "No More"

She knows she isn't crazy
She knows what she sees....
She binge Eats to make it all go
away....
Yea, her stress....
She becomes depressed.
She can't have a long social
relationship because of her
mood swings...
She can't control herself.
She becomes someone else.
She forgets what she says,
But remembers her actions.
How come she can't get past
them?
She's sweet,
She's caring,
But when she is triggered....
You want to just leave her.
But it's okay...
She's use to it.
She is scared of being alone
She's terrified of going on...
There's nothing she can do.
But the ones who love her the
most,
Will stand by her.....
But please, never get too close.

Hugging you tight,

I wish I could do more for your borderline ,
I thought you'd have accepted my other side.
From time to time
I wish I was born blind,

Feelings that I have
for you.
I hate you once.
I loved you once.
Can't figure out why,
I'm on the borderline.
My heart say "yes",
But my mind says "no".
I want you here,
But then I want you gone.
I'm borderline about you.
I don't know what to do.
Keep you here beside me,
or let you go in the dark?

Borderline
A little boy sits in a prison cell
in a land across the sea
everyone knows he is innocent
but nobody sets him free.
There are children down in Africa
whose bodies know only pain
not knowing when they will eat again
or why the bad men came.
Terrorists are in every corner
of the world today
they speak of God and then use their bombs
and take good people away.
Someone is lying wounded
a victim of a war
wondering where the love is
that’s supposed to save us all.
Why does it have to be this way
does anyone really know
my faith is on the Borderline,
and doesn’t know where to go.

depression, mental illness,
he has been abandoned again
he hates his life
hates his therapist
yes it is the one he was in love with last week
he cannot control his moods
they twist him around and throw him against a wall
not really him, for there is no him
only a shell of where a person could have been
he has never felt more adrift
alone abandoned unloved
he is chronically bored
today depressed anyway this minute
there are no grays only blacks and whites
sometimes all bads, other times all goods
this is what borderline personality disorder
does for him
he is empty and lost
perpetually and completely
wait. There is no he.

12th grade,
In shadows cast by fractured minds, a dance,
Borderline whispers, a tumultuous trance.
Emotions veer, a rollercoaster ride,
For those who stand close, by love's sweet side.
A storm within, tempests of the mind,
Identity fractures, elusive to find.
From highs to lows, a relentless ride,
BPD's grip, where emotions collide.
Intense connections, yet fears of abandon,
Chaotic relationships, a heart's wild abandon.
Impulsive acts, a desperate plea,
Affects the ties that bind, one's sympathy.
In this turmoil, empathy must reside,
For those touched by BPD, love is their guide.
Through therapy's art and patience, so kind,
Hope blooms, a healing, for hearts entwined.

Mark Trotiner, musician,
Friend, teacher to me
Lighter of rooms on entry,
Suffering misunderstandings,
As we all do,
Blessed with lovely daughters,
Meaning the world to him,
Borderline genius,
I would venture to say...
I trust God has accepted him
With the love he warrants,
I will walk a little sader,
From this day on,
For I have lost a friend,
One who helped me through hard times,
One who held my respect,,
No easy chore, believe me
He's playing with the greats now,
To his family, my condolences,
I too weep tonight.

This eternal moment is called life.
In love, it is called marriage or fatherhood.
