The Squirrel

~My Nutty Squirrel Poem~

Up in a tree, on a branch
Now you see me, now you don't!

Sneaky and fast, I'm adorable
Now, why would you hunt or shot me for fun?
Do you like, how fast I run?
I'm not just another chipmunk
Stuffing my face with nuts,
I'm classy and beautiful,
The best part of nature.....

Red pointed ears, I hear you drawing near.
Chuckle, chuckle, caffeine free
I saw you looking at my fine coat.
Fluffy and curious, touch me and I'm Calling PETA!
See YA--- Life Is Beautiful!!!
I'm stuffing these nuts back into my mouth
and Jumping onto another tree :) The End
........
Love The Squirrel from another World.

Angels and Outlaws

Come and sit here by the fire
Watch the flickering firelight
Let me touch your lips with mine
Will you keep me warm tonight

I've been here reminiscing
Just feeling kind of sad
Wondering why angels love outlaws
And all the times we had

We've been through Hell together
Feeling the pleasure and the pain
Stood side by side against the world
In the sunshine and the rain

Outlaws live their lives on the edge
Their castles built with sand
Why angels fall in love with them
It's hard to understand

So while we're sitting by this fire
And thinking of all the times you cried
This outlaw loves his angel
I want you forever by my side.

Love Can Smile

Just breathe with me, its okay
our affection can live beyond pain and distance,
just breathe with me when you need a good kiss,
just breathe with me when there is struggle to be stoked,
just bleed with me when nothing else matters,
just smile with me when star light touches your face
let your heartbeat dance with me across time and space...its okay

The Halo of Her Heart

When you laid your hands upon my naked heart
feeling the flex of it's fire, accessing the innocent desire,
holding the form of a new need, I swear, that's when love did start,
your touch became my tradition, the wine of your wisdom my lovely teacher,

From the fine feathers of your soft steel wings
I write poetry of storms in paradise and of love in your eyes,
sympathizing with my sage solitude, yet subduing the sadness it brings
you offer me everything an angel owns, halo and bloodroots, and together we rise -

You

You are the Lover of my soul
the keeper of my heart
you hold the keys to both my heart and soul
I gave my keys to you to keep close and never let go
my love you are my world and my everything
you are the love of my life
the one I adore deeply
the keeper of keys of my heart
my sweet you are the one I Love deeply with all my heart an soul
YOU are my everything!

Nature's Ballad

It was the dream of night to write her message in verses of romance on nature’s ballad
So, the rising morn painted passions of heart on marigold arc in vermilion and purple
For that’s what Venus said love was, when moon relayed night’s song to amative dawn

Running Tide

Knee deep in surf
The water clung to her
Changing silk gown
To wrinkled shiny skin
Never had I envied ocean water so
But then t'was I who'd let her go
Drowning in green eyes
With fear of clinging ties
Holding me back

Beautiful Blue World

I bent down
kissed the top of her head gently
For , I must go,
in to the night

This beautiful blue world
I cannot see it all in one day
Sails set and unfurled
Moon, full
Silver at play

A kiss to last...
A day...
A lifetime...
For, I must go..
In to the night

On the deep blue
As wide...
As my heart is open
Beautiful blue world
I love it too

One day at a time
A kiss to last...
A journey...
As far as the heart,
is prepared to go
A kiss to last
Journeys' past

One day at a time
This beautiful blue world
Held in my hand
Like a kiss...
A set sail...
Such things
To my heart,
always last

Lost In Love

Lost in love
The age of innocence..
A soft breeze surrounds..

Lost in love
As the fountain of truth implodes within..
Loss of words ..
In a moment of sweet bliss..

Gloriously..

Chanting a heavenly song..
A gentle caress..
Filled with validation of profound love..

Lost in love..
An infusion of eurphoria..
Where there lies no boundaries..

Lost in your eyes of Universal language..
Love is..
The life force..

Lost in love
Strength is gained..
Seek the only truth..
Which is love..

You May Not Be Blood But Your Still Family

You come over all the time

We talk about everything

And anything

I know I can come to you

With anything because you

Will always understand

We have a lot in common

Some people ask why do you

Even talk to her

She don’t care about you

At all

I tell them

They don’t know you like I do

And they never will

Because even though you’re not

Blood you are still my family

No matter what happens in

Twenty years or even two weeks

Down the road we will always be

Sisters for life

And I happy that I can look at you

And say I love you sis

A Blue Rose Sings

Upon a deep blue rose, a scented song,
so delicate of harmony and sweet;
a melody, whose strains of love replete
I mused upon. To whom could it belong?
To claim such ballad ought have felt so wrong,
but I could ne’er its memory delete;
each note an echo in my own heart’s beat,
alluring me to drift and sing along.

Though how I wish I’d never found the rose
whose music stirred a restlessness in me;
where love once blossomed only sorrow grows
from searching for a love that cannot be,
and timelessly a tear-blue river flows
through heartache’s vale to discontentment’s sea.

Your Love

The first time I beheld your being, I felt that creation helded, its breath.

Without peace of mind you are in a constant state of war within.

With your tongue, you murder your brothers, sisters,, complete strangers,

And then the innocent, as you allow the guilty to go free.

You go to war with your own heart! Yet we pursue love, or and lust,

with a tenacity and then we declare a cease-fire, that has only one truth.

It blinds us to such a depth, that the cease-fire fails.

I Will Wait

I composed a song version of this poem with different lyrics but the same "beat".
When you see three "dots" ... pause for a second.

All it took...
Was your hand caress my neck...
As you passed.

Or a word...
Of affection, not some play...
You were cast.

No gifts... to please,
No wants... appeased.
So few... the signs,
Your eyes... were mine.

We create...
What we wished was truly there...
When it's not.

No ones fault...
She can't be the fantasy...
You had sought.

True romance...
Only happens when
Two hearts have
Joined as one...

Until then...
I will wait for
Love to come.

Is It Worth It

Love can seem so happy and so wonderful
But it can hurt and take away from life too
You make me so happy and make me feel so special
But then you turn around and make me feel like ****
love can turn you into a whole new person
But you could change into to something great or something no one wants
Love seems so wonderful at first
But spending my days not knowing if you want me or even care for me is agonizing
Sometimes i feel like your lying to me but if i say that then you'll get mad again
Your such a loose cannon, ready to burst with rage and tears
Love is so temperamental
so can you tell me.......
Is It Worth It?

The Ballad of Connie Marcum Wong

An idiom by which she's always stuck
is 'having one's head buried in a book'
The truth behind it, she was unprepared
that morning as she went to climb the stairs.
Stopping to lift a bottle, bad mistake
especially when one isn't quite awake
her balance gone, could not control herself
now plunging headlong into the book shelf.
Bruised head, bruised knees, bruised pride was quite enough,
thankfully, make-up would disguise the scuffs.
But then she only went and made it worse
by saying that it would make a good verse.

Hopefully next time she will be wiser
and not tell me, but tell 'Trip Advisor'

A Rose For My Sadness

A Rose for my sadness
Is all I ask
Seal it with your kiss
And your magical spark.

A Rose for my sadness
Is all I need
With a glimpse of your smile
And sound of your heartbeat.

A Rose for my sadness
Is all you can give
To aglow the flame
And rekindle the love I keep

A Rose for my sadness
Will surely make me glad
It will erase all the longings
And ease the blunt pain.

A Rose for my sadness
Will bring your touch
Shower me with warmth
Missing you that much.

Remember

When the world is bitter and cruel
remember my love i will comfort you.
When your heart is broken and lost
remember my love i will find you no matter what the cost.
When you have lost the will to go on
remember my love i will be the rock you can stand upon.
When the worries of your heart become too much to bare
remember my love i will always be there.
with hope in hand and i will always love you no matter the cost
remember my love you will never be lost.

My Long Lost Friend

He was my best friend
His name was Snoopy
He was a beagle
My favorite pet.

I got him on Christmas day
He was just a little pup
I loved him so much
Then God took him away.

He was out hunting
He never came back
He was gone
Just like that.

I wonder every day
Where is he
Alive or…
Dead?

I still miss him so
I cry at night
Missing him
Missing him.

For the Years of Tomorrow

She counted the candles
with the arithmetic of an ancient angel,
the impertinent years of her life fuelled the flames slowly
patiently, and prettily,
a flicker for the fast joys, a standstill for the sorrows,
she knew very well how age brought trials, tears, and triumphs,
and she believed in life after death
as a dove believes in the upcoming morning,
to the field of birthday fire
she blew a blissfully blue breath
the lights waved and vanished like startled wraiths,
yet there was one stubborn candle
that seemed to glow upon her quiet heart
revealing with a direct warmness...
You either live inspired, or you die -

Dawson

No pagan crown of fossil lairs
Of him I write no verse nor song
T’is not a soup to stir nor share
When lending strength, to something wrong.

Seconds cloned from darkest matter
Mutated minutes dredged by fear
Mind confusion as reason shatters
Innocents lanced by emotion's spears.

Flowers edge the steps and fences
Prayers are uttered near a shrine
Notes of love, as grief commences
A vigil wrought by hearts sublime.

Picking up the scattered pieces
Light must shine to crack the dawn
Support can smooth the furrowed creases
Only hope can make their spirits strong.

Persistence Furthers

There are I'm sure
people
who
will
tell
you
to
stop
    I'm also sure
you will persist
  in your literary
efforts
Some may say
its only poetry
   but we know
different - don't we friends?
Poetry can change a life
  It can even change societies
You might not achieve fame until after you are gone
Poetry is for the ages
People may be reading you
in a couple of millennia
Sobering thought
After we disappear
our poems may very well
bring a smile
to people who love the genre

Loveplay -

I love the way you talk to me
like a girl aching for warm mystery,
touching herself with tender hopes
that what she loves will kiss her notes,
you wonder why the world has given you my heart
with a shy lust for my every part,
yet like an orchid oracle
your voice is smooth and lips infallible,
and as you play with the prism of our passion
on fingertips of curious obsession
you realize that I ache as much
for the rush of your touch -

I Didn'T Hold Grudges

I suffered,he laughed
I filled up his voids, he created mine.
I looked for roses,he gave cactus
I looked only for his heart,he focussed on my body
I healed all those stitches,he gave me wounds..
I ignored him,he started following
I left him,he cried
I didn't hold any grudges,he holds guilt.
