Cupid's Arrows

Cupid,
God of immortal love,
Thy sharpest arrows for me
Prepare

For

Thy archery, on my aching heart
To practice,
Be accurate, I THEE, Implore

Because

I will die at once, If THEE miss
The TARGET!

Improve Your Aim

I think Cupid must be missing his target.
Desirable women appear to be harder to get.
Little guy, after you draw back your bow,
the arrow must travel straight when you let it go.
There, you have missed another one for me.
Why has this been posing you some difficulty?
Do you require additional lessons in archery?
Take all of your arrows and shoot them through the air.
Let that cute one over there know that I care.
Hit a bull’s eye over there for me.
If not, I will have to go to E-Harmony.

Valentines Wishes

Oh, Cupid,

Winged son of Venus,

You,

God of immortal love,

Listen to my plea:

I beg you

Your sharpest arrows for me

To prepare

For

Your unparallel archery

On my

Aching for her love heart to practice.

Be

As accurate as never before,

I Implore you,

Oh, divine master of our hearts,

Because

I would certainly die at once,

If

Your target, you happen to

Miss!

Once Cupid

Once upon a time, Cupid asked for volunteers for

He wished his archery on their hearts to practice.

Millions rushed forward the opportunity not to miss,

Alas, only a few arrows he had at his disposal!*
