memory,
I have walked the desert
Sailed the sea alone
Climbed an Asian mountain
And heard a glacier moan
I have loved and lost
And then loved again
I remember lips
That smiled at me back then
Love was just a word
Back when the world was new
She was young and lovely
Those years were but a few
We talked of tomorrow
And things we could not know
Then suddenly it changed
We'd different paths to go
I have flown an airplane
Ridden many a steed
I have crossed broad rivers
And traveled my own speed
Love was just a word
Back when the world was new
She was young and lovely
Those years were but a few

life, love, wife, love,
i cannot give you studded diamonds,
or give you fine white pearls,
nor can i give you money,
that could buy the whole wide world.
i cannot give you airplane tickets,
new fashions, trends and fame,
the only thing that i can give,
is my heart, my soul and name.
im not a man of upper class,
or a man who is well known,
my needs are very simple,
just a place to call my home.
i'll give you all i have to give,
but as i say it isnt much,
a future, land with house and kids,
and my love on hand as such.
and to know you'll always love me,
even if we're very poor,
really makes me glad found you,
the girl that i adore.

funny love, i am, satire,
the devil is calling
a cigarette you call it
as the airplane flying the sky
to sit ten is late waiting
surprise soon to be twenty or more bullshit
flying the sky to reach the tarmac
of evil with a glass of lemon juice in the morning
shame on you my dear you are acid
fancy plates from past century
I drink your wines with crystal glass
and make a madeira of your life
as I pet a cat my dog in need of a pee
no crave here to call your name
shame on you with your botox
to look sublime as I live a life
of desire and glee
as I in a box chose not to fly your plane
but eyes opened for the reveal I count on you
to make it right my dear devil.

brother, childhood, war,
Just finger play above his head,
three little brothers in a bed;
light shafts beam, shadows command,
of airplane flight on ceiling spanned.
So great a love, this brother bond,
the brand of love that goes beyond
what mortal man asks of others,
answered only in a brother.
The sun will turn incessant rounds,
to rise one day on battlegrounds
that cover earth and sky and sea . . .
where little boys should never be.
That tiny one, the baby son,
who crowed with glee at childish fun
is caught in flash of light between
the crosshairs of an M16,
and those two older boys would give
their own sweet lives if he could live.

love, marriage, wife,
No soaring airplane built today
Can carry me as far away
As does my wife’s inviting glance
When time arrives for more romance,
And when I walk and hold her hand
No orchestra or marching band
Can replicate the cheerful song
That burbles up and tags along—
How blessed I am with boundless love,
Eternal gift from God above;
This woman many years my wife
Is friend and lover through my life.

Skiing down snowy slopes
Racing across the ocean
Sliding away from loss
Painting a lovely canvas
Sculpting something nice
Singing to the top of my lungs
Playing guitar all night
Writing a literary novel
Smiling despite the sorrow
Listening to my instincts
Dancing through the rain
Laughing away a heartache
Breathing joy into another
Creating something beautiful
Planting seeds of goodness
Awaking to the starry skies
Drifting to sleep on a lullaby
Haunting the dreams of my true love
And, spreading Marmite on my toast

goodbye, mystery,
People were busy looking at the monitor in the airport.
Newly-weds, vacationers and some hoping for a chance
found their seats and settled down for a long trip.
The airplane ascended until cars resembled ants.
Exited, some of the group had never flown.
Some passengers napped while a child cried.
Hours passed and a regular flyer questioned,
“What’s going on? This is not right!”
We know not the rest of the events.
A mystery may not ever be solved.
Panic-stricken families, baffled friends~
The only emotion that may remain is love.

nostalgia, retirement,
I stand here and implore you to believe me
No, I am not Jack White
Although you say I’m a liar
This shaking all over, is over
I’m going home to track my youth
Leaving your accent behind, put on my I.D
And look literal life in the eyes,
I need to get away, my Rock ‘n’ Roll has died,
MTV is full of four-letter words
And love is not one of them,
I’m taking the next train back to nostalgia
Then an airplane across boisterous seas,
Satisfied to live with memories
Along the highway of vinyl,
Where old labels are still shining
Unlike me, long after their demise.

baby, car, emotions,
Well and it's just like you did
start up an old, old car now
you've got my motor running
bout to overheat, ‘bout to blow
a fuse, bout to throw a spark
you're driving me wild down
romance street oh yeah baby
YOU'VE GOT ME GOING
Well and just like flying a
World war 2 airplane
straight up into a big blue
sky oh and I'm about to
flip a gage, tripping on a high
oh yeah baby YOU'VE GOT
GOT ME GOING...
Well and just like an old
and forgotten steam engine
you've got my whistle blowin'
bout to jump track, bout to
blow my stack, rockin’ and
rollin' on down the railway of
love...
Well oh yeah baby YOU'VE
GOT ME GOING, YOU’VE GOT
ME GOING, GOING, GOING
GONE!

lost love, on writing and words,
Thoughts spill on paper wings....
Comes to life in a poetic ring...
A paper airplane written just for you...
Words from a heart that fell in two..
They fly across your distant sky...
Reaching eyes while they whisper by...
A paper airplane that has to fly...
Sprinkled with hugs and care for
a love gone by...

used in skilled embroidery ~
i was craft threaded
she drew paper dolls
and clothes for me to cut out ~
i was valued fun
she read tales aloud
that fueled my fantasies ~

loss, love,
We all choose our battles you said,
In all of them you lose or gain with dread
When there is nothing to fight for,
I stopped. There is nothing left in my core.
I dived out of an airplane
Like in a dream AND a nightmare.
With no parachute or a safety net
All I could feel was that cold sweat.
With my plain hold that this chaos is true,
I gave up on my religion for you.
I lost myself, I lost "my dew"
I fought with my whole, should I rue?
Just like you,
With dread, I choose to lose in this battle too.

for her, i love you, imagery, love, passion, romance, romantic,
Alone with our love on a quiet retreat
In a mountain lake cabin, no one else there to greet
Reachable only by an airplane on floats
Hidden from view in a place so remote
That only one chair could be brought to the door
Together we're on it experiencing more
Sharing a moment of corporal bliss
That started with hugging and one little kiss
My hair is a handle for you to hold on
Unstyled and wild all control is now gone
While you there my dear are a porcelain doll
Held in my arms, of you I'm enthralled
The day turns to night then the night turns to day

dark, depression, emotions, heartbroken, home, how i feel, hurt,
Night's exploding silence
Abets the heaving weight,
There's a knife overhead,
A rope under the sink.
Unexplainable, pristine,
Insects are on the floor
As an airplane passes by
And silence consumes it too.
Thought is faster than words
Love is not seen in silence
A mice is gnawing the wall to create a hole,
And silence consumes it too.
The artificial wind
Gives breath to the cobwebs,
Silence must find stillness,
In this burning house..

love
Long Braids
Draping down her back
Soft voice
Angelic sound on a track
Long legs
Clumsy self flopping all about
Slim frame
Never have she been ashamed of that
Strong bodied
Been through hell and back
Tender heart
Can only take nothing but real love
Like a dove
Quiet
Gentle
Like a airplane
Loud
Soaring
Like a boat
Drifting
Calm
Like a book
Turning
Closed
In her palm
There was a note
"I am your love"
And thats all he wrote.

analogy, father, happiness, inspiration, love, love hurts,
Stepping away from home base
Specs of me left behind as a trace
Missing my crew before I even depart
Hard to not feel a crack in my heart
Wheels up as whisked into the sky
Tears of joy welling up in my eyes
As I remember the connection isn't lost
Since we are linked together at any cost
Airplane ascends as I slice off slivers of my heart
Scattering them through the sky to do my part
Their flight path doesn’t need a map
Calmly cascading before landing in your lap
The next step flips upside down my frown
Love from home is lifted up from the ground
Careening through the clouds without a sound
Sealing up the shortage from what I sent down

love,
As practically any single man knows,
the sharpest thorns can be found on any rose.
It is the man who has to wine and dine.
Most of the time, he has to stand in line.
Most guys don’t consider this situation fine.
Like butterflies, the pretty women can float around.
Men with looks and money are where they are found.
A man’s high-flying airplane can be easily downed.
Careful, honeybees can have a sharp stinger.
A fickle lass can be a sorrow bringer.
Caveat emptor, or let the buyer beware.
Roses with sticky thorns are found everywhere.

Twenty-one in Vegas
(with love to Lily)

We're waiting here in Vegas
For the Airplane bringing you
To celebrate adultery
That comes on August two
Adultery's not the word to use
But I thought it would be fun
After all you'll be in Vegas
When you're turning twenty- one
A Disney World for grown-ups
A time for you to let it go
What happens when in Vegas
Stays in Vegas, don't you know

imaginationold, old,
I walked with thoughts in reverse;
Bairn of old suffered feat;
Dancing consciously as lunatics;
Made my pace run from me;
Then everything looked evil...
I smiled with thoughts in reverse;
Moments to cherish in bitterness;
With so much love for the pen;
The past taught about me;
Then everything looked evil...
I dreamed with thoughts in reverse;
Super human from a dead planet;
Heavy as crane, wings of an
airplane;
Trudging on a seeming ground;
Then everything looked evil...
I awoke with thoughts in reverse;
Super human from a dead planet?
Moments to cherish in bitterness?
Bairn of old suffered feat?
Truly, everything looked evil!

adventure, appreciation, art, beauty, black love, cute love, princess,
The bigger the picture of an airplane wings
me sitting next to the window
makes my eardrums filled with massive gush of wind,
my mind races up to the sky.
if only my Black and White Princes will be there,
seating next to me,
my blood will boil warm down to my fingernails.
my mind wanders to.......
like a flapping sail in the sea.
it is what is.
i plan to do that.
i desire such an experience.
if i can play a song
to strengthen my desire,
i would choose a song by Celion Dion,
yes the titanic type of song,
the one moves out
a shear tear,
changes a weather
like a destiny.

deep, emotions, love,
boarded a plane and the destination was your heart the flight was a bit bumpy for I had to conquer many challenges, shield my eyes from everybody for you were the vision and not just an illusion I had no funds to seat at the comfy luxurious first class cabin I knew if you came first and I came first I shall forever reign in your heart where unlike the airplane I wouldn't have to alight you may be reading this from a piece of paper but it's source is a piece of my heart like the new commandment in the New Testament may my words be written on your heart where they are shielded by our love.

death, loss, sadpeople, people,
It was genius when the Wright Brothers invented the airplane.
But sadly their invention has brought about a lot of pain.
Many people have died in plane crashes over the years.
Planes are great but the casualties bring a lot of tears.
If the airplane hadn't been invented, Pearl Harbor and 9/11 wouldn't have taken place.
Many thousands of people have been killed who can never be replaced.
People love planes and jets until they see a loved one being put in a hearse.
The Wright Brothers were brilliant but sadly they brought about a curse.

dream, emotions, love,
On a mountain ridge beneath the amber sky
The summer sun fades behind the trees
And as the crickets sing a night time lullaby
I sit and wish you were here with me
From the deck of a liner on the ocean blue
Watching dolphins swim beneath the sea
My heart fills my head with thoughts of you
And I sit and wish you were here with me
On a jet airplane high above the clouds
Soaring like an eagle brave and free
A gentle breeze speaks your name aloud
And I sit and wish you were here with me
Tonight in the shadows as I lay awake
I close my eyes and your face I see
I hear your name with every breath I take
As I sit and wish you were here with me

Whether you love me or not
If my life is an airplane
Will you be my co-pilot?
Baby I feel so cool and
You look totally red hot!
You can make me happy and
Keep me warm like a teapot!
Baby I need you so much
You keep coming in my thought!
If I don’t see you one day
Baby I miss you a lot!

farewell, goodbye, hurt, i miss you, sad love,
you are more of a stranger now
than before we even met
i should throw out the memories
fold your name into a paper airplane
and fly it south
it’s just an ache i can do without
i don’t even want to think of you
i want you expunged from every crevice
effaced from all my floors and walls
i want you completely scraped off of my existence
because i can’t deal with all the residue
leftover crumbs of a sour love
yet my heart begs “just one more hour, love!”
but i can’t bear another second with you
so here it is, my last gift to you:
a final farewell, a heartsick adieu
