appreciation, summer, sun,
Tomorrow's dawn will start the longest day
When summer takes the torch and starts to run
He'll summon all the children of the sun
His followers that love his warming way
They'll laugh and celebrate in outdoor play
It is the greatest time for water fun
Each claiming to be summer's fav'rite son
Absorbing every ultraviolet ray
And when the sun lies down to take his rest
Their celebrations go in to the night
Cavorting with the moon, who's unimpressed
He knows they only like him 'cause he's bright
They'll fall asleep their backs toward the west
As children of the sun await first light

beauty, holiday, i miss you, love, passion, vacation, valentines day,
It's near midnight, whilst we moonlight walk
Palm tree lined fairway, Crickets singing
Hands clenched in loving vacationed talk
Hearts in wanting pound, Batangas is bringing
We, she and I, now amidst our intending lock
Serenity is the scene blessed by lunar watch
So late, but joyous we, soon our lips are speaking
Clouds now hover as we witness natures rain
Our apartment is distant, we welcome given
Through broken lunar light, stroking her mane
My hands in taken then, sensuously they're driven
Kiss me quiet is whispered, hearts now in reign
Walking, slowly walking, absorbing to us this night
Hearts in touching pound, Batangas has brought

life, love, , literature,
It is so difficult to measure,
any metaphysical treasure.
One can only glean,
Its riches in stream,
By absorbing it at one’s leisure.
I’m speaking of poetry that hovers,
Levitating between it’s covers,
just waiting to be read,
nothing left to be said,
Literature for life and lovers.
Tribute to Elizabeth Wesley’s
new book …
“Polished Stones”
Author House publications.
It has been a long, long time since I have read anything that
has arrested my attention long enough for me to stop and smell
the roses as has this book "Polished Stones" by Elizabeth Wesley.
Thank you Elizabeth.

beauty, love, smile,
Singular snowflakes spread-out
blanket a dreary barren berm
that overlooks the dormant meadow
bringing a brightness to fields of grey.
Smiles overcome me as I watch
the proud red-breasted robin
pick at pieces of weathered brush
choosing just the right one
to comfort her nesting baby.
Whistles echo out of the rustic kitchen
where a steamed up copper kettle sings
waiting patiently to pour into perfect tea.
The first sip commands my attention and
wraps tightly around me, leaving a feeling
like your precious smile on a cloudy day
Quietly I sit absorbing the peaceful morning
like the baby robin in anticipation your return

inspirational, nature, recovery from...words, voice, voice,
No words to say
No songs to sing
The voice has gone numb
The mind refuses to run.
Letting my eyes dance away
Upon mountains and valleys
My ears listen to the concert
Of the hidden spring and the birds.
No thoughts to convey
No sounds out of my mouth
Quietly I listen, absorbing the beauty
Upon which my eyes feast, and my heart beats.
I hear your voice
Speaking softly to me
Of words that feed and color
My life with love and splendor.

flower, longing, love,
I smiled when lilac tulip bloomed,
I prayed for amber wings in rain.
On fiery leaves with love perfumed,
blue angels kissed her blushing chain.
How oft fir-kissed drops fall as gems
absorbing pangs of thirst from stems.
My bare soul drenched in velvet chrome
longs to rest in her musk-soaked home.
When lilac tulip bloomed, I prayed,
I smiled for amber wings in rain.
With love, perfumed blue angels kissed
her blushing chain on fiery leaves.
Afar, yet my love sings along
if only she'd hear a thorn's song.

We lie back listening
to the popping of stars in their dark pods.
I fish for words
that are not raw and wriggling.
You smoke a spiral staircase.
The car keeps swaying in our heads
over a shock absorbing silence.
I know you are looking through me,
searching for love-bones
on a distant back seat.

And happy feet

And keep me warm
When it gets nippy
Deep inside the penguin pile
Absorbing love, burrow and smile
18 arms and 18 legs
8 men and one happy egg :-)

ABSORBING NATURE
Jet stream shoots
Between two mountains cliffs
A breeze of honeysuckles I smell
Shooting stream
Jet between two mountains
Cliffs of honeysuckles to enrich
Mountains cliffs
A stream jets a breeze felt
Honeysuckles smelt and landscape blooms
Waterfall
Mountain parts water pours
A course emerge a spring to love

Love's presence draws nature
Setting aflame breathless desire
Hearts soften thoughts alter
Birds pair, adoring sight fills love's cup
Beautiful in love's flight
Attentive you become charming
Affectionate delight
Spring's allure captivating my thoughts
So ablaze I love thee
Each absorbing thought is of you
Admirable yet brawny

beautiful, desire, love,
Awakened by light
scratching the glass of dreams
stepping free
of shadows and silence...
The morning star
absorbing my tiredness
slowly fading away leaving
a blank place in the heavens...
My star woman
the memory of our night
still lingers in my bed
sheets drenched in your perfume...
Before you each night
I would lie down
in a graveyard of dreams
shrouded in moonlight...
You left before dawn
at 5 AM exactly
drowsy and dazed
the sound of your breathing...
On the pillows
also an aroma
still alive and ours
surely a goddess was here...
The very one
who knows
the name of all things
made of love...

I HEAR A SOUND THAT IS SWEET TO MY EARS AND SOFT TO MY SOUL
IT SPEAKS TO ME IT CALLS MY NAME AND EVER SINCE I HAVE HEARD THIS SOUND I HAVE NEVER BEEN THE SAME.
MY SADNESS HAS BEEN MELTED AWAY WITH THE MELODIES FROM THE HEAVENS ABOVE.
IT HAS BEEN SHOWERED WITH UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
THIS SONG KEEPS SINGING TO MY SPIRIT AND ABSORBING INTO MY SOUL.
THE ANGELS ARE SINGING UNTO ME AND COMFORTING ME THROUGH THIS SONG.
I AM AT PEACE AND MY HEART IS AT EASE NO LONGER AM I IN PAIN.
NO MORE AM I IN DARKNESS THE CLOUDS HAVE FADED AWAY AND THE SUN IS SHINING ALL AROUND ME.

Her purpose in life is love.
Making people happy,
Bringing great pleasure,
Colouring the world
With pleasing shows,
Her voluptuous shape,
Poses displays,
Exciting minds,
Igniting and kindling,
Explosive creative power,
Impressively
A winner among flowers
Catching the eye of suitors.
Drawing into her blooms
Tulip thirsts for attention
Absorbing energies of passion.

yet hard to annoy,
easy to live near,
absorbing your aloof royalty

nutritionally sublime arts of undomesticated conscience,
co-empathically wild trust

The sun comes up early in the morning
Green leaves turn to bathe in the sun
Flower petals open widely and stand proud
As the caterpillar slowly begins to wake.
She begins
Inching along
Absorbing her surroundings
Soaking in what it means to be "me".
She grows
In stature, in knowledge
In love, in understanding, and grace
Painfully she grows through cheers and jeers.
She changes
Not who she is, but
Rather what she is turning into
A young, thriving, vibrant butterfly.
She blossoms
Like a flower's petals
She is colorful, majestic, and strong
Her beauty will captivate and mystify for ages.

Conscience climaxes ; your wisdom erupts within me.
Absorbing your awareness, I conceive your insight.
Impregnating my understanding with your brilliant mind.
Growing inside my thoughts are the visions we share.
I bare the lovechild of our poetic love affair.

beautiful, heart, inspiration, life, love, my child, son,
Each day I watch you change,
a little at a time
Handsome and intelligent
this brilliant son of mine
Unbelievably you grow
with every passing day
Absorbing wonders all around
I know you'll find your way
No doubt you'll be successful
It shines in you like gold
A queen I was
to have you son
A gift from God to hold
No mother could be prouder
Or as blessed as I have been
I'm sure no matter what
You'll always be my friend
All my hopes and dreams
for life to you be kind
Always let the light in you
be unafraid to shine
How wonderful to have a son
as precious as is mine
