Abram and his book of Job
The greatest story he was ever told
a book of survival of the hardest love
To teach of the Father up above
It was taught him that it was true
Like Lazarus to us through and through
Of all the gods he had heard of before
This was the god that he would adore
The hidden and the silent
The only one who, loved him as a son
As fathers often do
Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent was He
Who loss of no thought, presence or difficulty
He was all as all could be
Unimaginable to just that degree
Creator of all of which none could flee
I imagine Abram as he first said "Me?"
And God in his thoughts said "Yes, thee."
