Love Poem: Your Becoming a Crave

Your Becoming a Crave

Your becoming a crave
More needed than chocolate
A pleasant scent to my nose
And a filling to my stomach
 You’re a story with a great beginning
The end I care less to see
For knowing that my upcoming days
With you is where I want to be
Hoping that yesterday doesn’t matter
For our present is so much better
I can think of a million ways
To fill your future with laughter
I’m not your ex
So look at me as different
What I do is permanent
It shall and will never be unremembered
I asked myself if this is just a dream
Not realizing that I am already awake
Hoping to never close my eyes
But wishing that this beginning I will always intake
Knowing that I must be patient
And respect your every situation
I find myself thinking of you
Sooner much rather than later
I try not to question faith
For faith is what I believe
I know there is someone for every one
But am I the one for you
And are you the one for me
Between your words and your touch
I have the slightest clue
Just hoping that one day
You’ll need me the way that I’ll need you
I must admit, I love what I see
And I memorize your tone when you speak to me
I see no fault or flaw when looking at you
For all I see is a man that made me smile
The first few seconds of meeting you
From the asking of my jacket
And to the expressions of your poems
I sense that you’re a real man
Who just want to be loved
I don’t have much to give
But I am one of a kind
I know how to treat a man
And hopefully in due time you’ll be mine
I’m a good dose of medicine
Not at all bad for your health
You can take me in the morning
Or when ever you need a night cap
I stress the issue of happiness
For that I never had
And I hope there will be no problem
When these beginnings become our future and not our past
