You Wont Have Me

I see you laughing, giggling and such. You never knew it hurt me this much. Best friends is what you claimed to be But it seems like so much more to me. Laying down at night, Holding the tears back so tight This darkness is my disguises, My relief and my fear Knowing the rush is so near. You have plans of a big log cabin, You say it will never happen. I see the way you look at him, And the way he looks so in love. You can’t tell me nothings there, You’d never believe how I’m so aware. Laying down at night, Holding the tears back so tight This darkness is my disguises, My relief and my fear Knowing the rush is so near. I hope he kisses you the way he used to kiss me. I hope you’re ready for broken promises and unmet dreams I hope he whispers in your ear Tells you secrets no one knows But just remember I knew. Laying down at night, Holding the tears back so tight This darkness is my disguises, My relief and my fear Knowing the rush is so near. Ten years later he gave life to your dream. A big log cabin and 3 kids, your life complete I hope you’re happy I hope he gives you all you need. Because you won’t have me.
