You Will Meet Me There
I found your note today as I was hanging up my blinds,
As I was praying, asking for answers, cleaning n sitting down crying,
On the front it said I love you signed below was your name,
On the back it said your new ticket, as God reassured my heart all over again,
I got rid of the little I had, the pain was just too deep,
But when I found your note today, it brought me to my knees,
Love Is not always pretty, it sometimes sacrifices to see,
Yet even in the sacrifice, your heart still knows and believes,
If ignorance is what we choose, than ignorance paves the way,
And I know I cannot ignore the truth, I'm not one to run away,
That faith has brought me thus this far, and has never let me down,
And when He speaks, it's only through Him that the truth was ever found,
And even if it's opposite of what i see with my eyes,
The beautiful thing about it is that He gets the glory in it every time,
Faith runs on what we believe and can't see, I long to look into His eyes,
He reminds me where my trust began, when i handed over my whole life,
I went back to when i stopped searching, and allowed searching to find me,
And the moment I reconciled that difference, He opened my eyes to see,
Receiving Him and His purpose for our lives requires us to relinquish control,
That the answers to all of our prayers are shown once we learn to let things go,
In the worst of times He stood by me, there is no greater love,
And when i see your hand move in my life, there is no one more I could ever trust,
Courage and love live in my sadness, my heart looks up to you,
No one on the face of this earth can do all that you do,
Every moment I have alone with you, I feel like a little girl again,
Running out to my spot in the field to talk to you with apples in my hands,
When the sadness overwhelms me, you always meet me there,
No one can take or replace that love, even when circumstances are hard to bear,
Peace that surpasses all understanding, a love so honest and true,
My eyes will see past the deception and lies when I look to the heart of you......
