You Never Believed- In Me
and yet you wouldn’t believe nor receive
forever in a second
you and I, always
your breath has left me breath-less
keeping my flesh at bay
but our passion was just a figment
of mine imagination greatness/grievance
not even a chance of holding hands
or even a last dance
you never believed
you never believed
and we never no never received
the love and happiness
to caress chest to breast
you ran away from me needless to say.
