You may not understand
How I can still be hurting
Like I’ve been all this time
But maybe some day
you will understand
When your heart gets
broken as bad
as you had broken mine
I just pray and hope
that it
never happens to you
Because I wouldn’t wish
This kind of hurt on anyone
Some of my friends tell me
that I should just move on
And leave my past behind
So that I can start a
new life with someone
But you see I have never been
the same
person since you’ve been gone
Because I loved you more
then
I had ever loved anyone
And that’s why it’s been
so hard for me to move on
I guess its going
to take me
a little more time
For me to be able to heal
from this whole situation
I just hope that
it happens soon
Because I’ve been
such a lonely man
But when that time does
come around
and I am done healing
All I need is one person
that I can love with
every ounce of my being
Like they can love me in return
You may not understand
How I can still be hurting
