You Don'T Think, You Know
I have to obey to what God has to say,
He isn't who you think he is right now, you must walk away,
Peoples opinions and advice swarm my mind,
My heart is overwhelmed, I sit and cry,
Half asleep I hear your call in the middle of the night,
God said, Do not answer, it's Jacob this time!,
I will direct you, and lead you wherever you go,
I will protect your heart, and you will know,
I still have faith, I still believe,
That God will heal your heart as I get up to leave,
Because the world is filled heartache and opinions,
Of what people think is best for us, but I don't always listen,
I will trust in His love, I drown out the voices,
I listen for his call, He will direct all my choices,
When He allows my heart to break it is only for your strength,
To intercede on your behalf, and shows me in His way,
Lord, I find you in the details, each step I take in this life,
I find your love wherever I go, your with me day and night,
And even when i struggle, and cannot help but cry,
You give me peace of mind, and fill me with your love, I trust you with my life.
