Love Poem: You Complete Me

You Complete Me

You can call me cautious, but I call it selective,
Friendliness is good, but personal is all about respective,
If I make an attempt, there's something about you,
That I know in my heart that is loving and true,
That your sincerity runs deep And I can see,
Past the outside worlds assumptions of what our image should be,
I don't care how you look from the outside view,
I don't base all I see on what you do,
I'm not saying that's not important but there's more,
Its all about intentions and what your doing it for,
Evil runs rampid throughout this world,
What looks beautiful can be deceptive, and can take your heart for a whirl,
I tread lightly, and I'll ask the Lord for discernment,
And even if I feel tricked, I'm meant to learn it,
It all comes together, and it all adds up,
Even when it seems hurtful, even when it gets rough,
And it's all for the purpose of his love at hand,
And sometimes I don't even have to understand,
But what I do understand is because he showed me,
And to live in his love completes the story.
