Love Poem: You Can'T Help Who You Love

You Can'T Help Who You Love

I pray daily,
For my feelings to go away,
But I’m not so glad to say,
That they are still here.
I hope that we reunite,
Before the end of this year.
My love for you is indescribable,
I’ve never felt like this,
Before in my life.
When I think of you,
My heart trembles,
My lips quiver,
And my eyes water.
I don’t know if it starts from just you,
Or my desire to bear sons and daughters.
In which I had a chance for a new one,
But it no longer exists.
At night, I toss and turn in the bed.
Hoping that you will soon return home,
So that we can again spend private moments
In our love dome.
I pray daily,
 For my feelings to stay,
And that I’ll be glad to say,
They and you are here.
I hope that reunite,
Before the end of the year,
And that Lord blesses,
Us tremendously.
So we won’t have to continue,
To fight over money.
I pray often that the Lord,
Does these actions,
For you: outward push and shove.
I guess that if it is God’s will:
You can’t help who you love.
