Yet So Hurtful

Beautiful, yet decieving.
With a touch, you're swallowed whole.
The petals smooth, like her flushed cheek.
The pleasent smell, as if she would speak.
The thorns prick, like the fallen words.
Blood drips away, while the angels sway.
So lovely, yet so hurtful.
Nothing could diminish the essence.
No one could take the life.
Stroke the petals free, as the leaves fall.
