Yesterday

YESTERDAY

A FEELING FREE,
COOL AIR
SOUNDS OF GEESE,
PHEASANTS,

ROOKS FLAPPING
SAWS BUZZING
FEELINGS QUITE,
 LIKE RUSTLING LEAVES
A BREEZE NOT HERE

STRANGE LIGHTS,
THRU CLOUDS
FROM HEAVEN STREAMING
FLATTENED GRAYS OF LIGHT SUPPORTED

ROLLING FIELDS OF SHEEP CONTENT
IF THEY BUT KNEW,
THEIR DINNER MEANT

IF ALONE THESE THOUGHTS ARRIVE
IT MUST BE SO
THE DIVINES INTENT

AT TIMES LIKE THIS
 IT’S PRESENCE FELT
A FEELING,
 OF QUITE, CONTENT

AN EARLIER WOE
A SOARING HEART,
FEARS NEAR FORMING
HOLLOW STOMACH
 (BEING FULL)

'
A WELLING SWELLING NEED TO LOVE
A HEALING FEELING NEED TO LOVE
A CARING HEARING NEED TO LOVE
A SEEKING PEEKING NEED TO LOVE
A LEAKING BREAKING FLOODING NEED TO LOVE

HAPPINESS IS FLEETING HERE
IT’S JOY I MUST HOLDFAST
THE NEED
TO FEEL IT NEAR
 IS NOW
 MINE, AT LAST
