Yes Jesus Loves Me
Not too long ago I met a man
He looked me in the eyes and took my hand.
He spoke some words to me let me know I’ve been set free.
The promise he gave to me and he crowned me a queen.
He gave new life to me, He took me in his arms
And let me know about the Blood that would keep me from harm
He said He would give me all my heart desire,
He said that He could give them because there is none higher.
For He loves me just as I am, he gave new life to me.
The promises He gave to me , my head could not believe.
He said that He would love me until the bitter end
He said that he would be my very special friend.
He said that He would be with me no matter where I went
Love like that you gotta know can only be heaven sent.
He said that He did love me no matter what I’ve done
That’s one of the reasons He gave the life of His only son.
He loves me just as I am
He gave new life to me.
But first within my heart I only had to believe.
