Awesome and Mighty God, wreck my heart.

You have rescued me from my addiction – my sin.
You’ve taken the hurt, pain and anger from within.
Filled with Your love, compassion and fire,

To carry Your love and hope to the one,
Whose life is torn apart by addiction – undone.
You are the only One who can truly heal,
Our hearts so full of fear, and still
Take the hurt, anger, shame and guilt
Crash down the walls we have built.
Wreck our hearts, O God, for the lost.
We surrender to you, no matter the cost.
In this vapor of a life, let us truly see
The important things are those that last eternally.
