Worth Every Mile

She said worth every mile then met you with a smile ,she got on that plane, was it all in vain? Did it affect you any to see her face full of pain ,tears In her eyes, stories were told then her hand you held ,the goodbye when you told her lies, the last hug , sadistic drug, you withdrew from her, why lie, did it affect you to watch her cry, did you just want to silence her, were you too much of a coward to witness the pain you struck in the heart of her, you waited until she returned and retreated from her and ignored her, inside her heart the anquish burned and the fire left the hallway of her soul a little more empty, another mess, unrest, distress, disbelief in love ,a wounded dove, she wanted peace and beauty with you,but got none of the above ,instead that hope has been slewed, you never cared about her deep down inside this she always knew, this is what she's use to, this is the kind of stuff people do
