Workshop Poem Deal Breaker

How do you deal with inner conflict
Of passionate heart, down-to-earth mind?
My strong reasoning always inflicts
Great doubts. "Hey, Heart, do you even mind?"

Inside there is a seismic soulquake.
Deep crack of cringe in soul's inner crust.
One more doubt, it seems, and you would break
And there's nothing out there you can trust.

Heart is soaring up in cloudless sky,
Mind is yet giving it cold shower.
Heart is mourning fiercely "Why oh why?"
Rational Mind is now in power.

Rationality and emotions:
My two divergent reasoning tools.
Feelings are good but in small portions.
Go to nearby bar, sit on a stool,

Think your situation through and through.
What did I think then? How did I feel?
How do I feel about me and you?
Sensed the deal breaker, was there a deal?
