no louder than a whisper,
I ring silent bells;
Moments touch my throat;
The feel of your hands on me,
so innocently;
Fingers so gentle
tracing the small of my back,
Your touch left me scarred;
The way you held me
hung stars in both of my eyes
that won’t stop shining;
Wishing to breathe through each phrase,
every word I could not say.
