Love Poem: Wonderment

Wonderment

There is a road in my heart
That no one has ever travel
It’s been close to the public
Its not pave just gravel

And both side of the street
Is Line with broken dreams?
With pain and suffering
Running wild in between

My heart has very good soil
So the seeds of love were thrown
And thou its water with my tears
Still happiness has not grown

I give my love to a girl
And she still has me hanging on
So I guess as long as I’m here
Then not all hope is gone

I got my tools ready to pave
And bough some bags of cement
So now I just sit here waiting
In my world of wonderment

Will she enter the road?
And travel to the very end
Or treats me as an outcast
But still be my friend

Is she being kind to me?
I’m not that smart to say
Because when she sees me coming
She runs the other way

But just like nature
The grass and tress on earth
I am here for a purpose
Just no girl has seen my worth

 One day love will pave
This lonely road in my heart
Then a long steady flow
 Of traffic will finally start

There will be no stop signs
Or red only green to go
It didn’t happen today
So I’m hoping it will tomorrow

Not taking any chances
So my money was well spent
Bough the tools to pave
And wait in wonderment
