Love Poem: Within Dreams He Flies

Within Dreams He Flies

Like a grown up, he thinks,
Like a child, he cries.
In loneliness he sinks,
Within dreams he flies.

When I think of him,
They come so fast,
A life so dim,
And colors that last…

Confusion is a word
Dangling on his chin,
But he owns the sword
That returns the grin.

He’s got the weapon
To make it happen.

To fight for love
And for the sake
Of a lovely dove
In the golden lake.

What I fear,
Is for time to pass,
With nothing to cheer,
And continuous harass.

I really hope,
He would remember,
A mighty rope
Would not surrender…

He won’t ignore
An open door

If he skips the part,
That he can save,
Before his heart
Becomes a slave

If he goes on
Without realizing,
That having a son,
Is hypnotizing…

Would he deny,
That in years,
Things would die,
Keep scars and tears.

And he would rue
What made him blue.

In my mind,
Never compared,
He was behind
What made me scared.

When I admire
The calm seas
Comes back the desire
The fantasies.

I take a sigh,
Endeavor to blame.
My love, I can’t deny…
… it remains the same

The same and even more
When I fall to the floor,
Freeze despite the burning flame.
Cease the discomfort and the shame…
