With prayer,
I discover the light
Of a love so astounding
It fills me up with hope
With prayer,
I find the answers
To those questions which
Remind me I am so imperfect
With prayer,
I realize the satisfaction
Of my dreams, my needs
Can be found in His arms
With prayer,
I uncover the joy that comes
From abiding in His sweet love
Learning from His glorious touch
With prayer,
I determine the reasons that peace
Comes to those who listen to His word
Find their mercy within the scriptures
With prayer,
I detect the meaning of grace
The unending wonder of a sincere blessing
Coming to those who sing His praises
With prayer,
I encounter the calm in the storm
The spark of joy just beyond the darkness
The melody that awakens His spirit within
With prayer,
I discern the meaning of my faith
The giving and trusting and acceptance
The kindness that pours from His heaven
With prayer,
I learn that love is all I really need
To honor this Jesus who I will always praise
With my spirit, my heart, my best thanks
With prayer,
I unearth the miracle of His salvation
The beauty in the One who never forsakes
The reason that I will always be protected
With prayer,
I acquire the answers to all my needs
I find the love of a friend who is everything
This Jesus makes intercession for me
So that I can see all the solutions to my worries
Know all the satisfaction of salvation
Because His blood washes me completely clean
And His love restores me to being a child of the King!
