Wishful Thinking

Can’t help but stare;
                                              Beauty exerts pressure
                                                Subliminally sublime.

                                         Your projection, my reflection
                                               Vice versa abounding
                                             Leaping in wild abandon
                                                              I wish.
                                                      I wish I wished.
                                                      I hope you wish.
                                                             I  wish
                                                             I knew.
                                                          You know,
                                                         Sometimes
                                                         I don’t know
                                                     Where to look for
                                                  Who knows beauty?

                                                 If it walks like a duck
                                               And quacks like a duck
                                             Mightn’t it be a clever pig?
