Wishful Thinking
Every relationship starts out the same , Love at first sight with emotions
to gain.Your heart is raceing , your pulse slows to a crawl , your knees weaken , your off balance , acking to fall.
Collecting yourself is no easy task , trying to act normal knowing it will not last. I take a deep breath and proceed to give step , but the body is weak with emotional depth.
A longing emotion sourounding my soul cradles my heart and strengthens my hold. Love is forsaken and hits you so bold , it if its not pure then it can also be cold.
I searched for so long and always stayed strong looking for love and a place to belong. I searched down below , above , and behond , over and under and through all thats gone.
My heart has been stricken many times before , never knowing whats there , and afraid to endore.
I call to the heavens show me the way and send me this love and do not let it stray.
I offer my heart willing and free but still afraid to show the true feelings from me.
Please guide my soul and shelter my heart , and promise me love that will never fall apart.Until that day my sky's are grey , dark , and dreary , with all intent to stay.
I will only love once , completely , and true i will be forever alone until i find you.
I reach to the heavens forsakeing my fate , requesting for love with nomore mistakes.
I beg for a love that guides my way , as it brightens my path with a promise to stay.Warming my soul , igniteing my flame , giveing me hope with assurance of fame.
Give me this love i beg of you , I will hold it so close and hold it so true , I will shelter our hearts and guide it so strong , so together we flourish and know we belong.
