Winter Sonata

Ever-shifting sensitive façade
of revolving seasons dons the amber ambiance
of the transient halcyon hues nature nurtures,
autumn’s fiery front bursts with color mélange,
fallen foliage gleams with golden glow at winter brink.

The chilled whisper of the northern wind
floats in the frozen air with the racing rhythm
of the attuned rustle of the rusted leaves,
composes the mystique melody of winter sonata,
as the seamless haze shades the sapphire sky.

Defoliated trees tremble in the waves of arctic wind,
in its frosty flow I see you return from the cold oblivion,
melt the miasma wrapping my glacial memory,
enter the abandoned abode of our old times
through the icy door I open for you.

I feel enticed the warmth of the winter sun
you raise for me with your charisma I adore.
As from the mist of reminiscence rises the new dawn,
the ecstasy of our embrace defrosts the memory lane,
we wander entwined in the winter wonderland.
